Linda L. Deal, age 79 of North Huntingdon, passed away on October 2, 2024, at Redstone Highlands Greensburg. She was born on November 3, 1944 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Kenneth Moore and Hazel Latshaw. Linda enjoyed gardening, and she devoted her life to caring for her husband and family. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two sisters, Carole Young and Donna Deal. She is survived by her beloved husband, James Deal, and two daughters, Sherri Macdonald (Jay), and Wendy Deal. There will be no public visitation. We are sad to announce the death of Dawn Marie (Jacob) Marincic of North Huntingdon, after a brief illness, but a long life (85).
She was born and died at McKeesport Hospital. She worked as a dental assistant for 26 years after receiving certification from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry. She was also trained as an Emergency Medical Technician.
She volunteered as an adult literacy tutor with the Westmoreland County Literacy Council for 15 years, where she made lifelong friends. She was an avid reader herself.

Sarah Jean “Sally” (Tucker) Vinsick, of White Oak, peacefully passed on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the age of 89.
Sally enjoyed many things in life including shopping and trips to the casino. She loved all holiday, especially Christmas. She loved to cook. Her greatest love was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with all of them.
Sally was the loving mother of Denise (late Craig) McCoy, Nick (Missy) Vinsick, Joe Vinsick, and the late Renee Wasilewski. She was the adoring grandmother of John Vinsick, Sean Vinsick, Vanessa Vinsick, and Cameron (Ashlie) Clark; great-grandmother of Krista Vinsick, Nathan Vinsick, Ricco Vinsick, Max Vinsick, and Cynder Clark. Sally is also survived by her sister, Maggie Lorenc, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. In addition to her husband and daughter, she was preceded in passing by her father, Joseph Tucker, mother, Catherine (Mochan) Slovina, step-father, John Slovina, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Daryl Juno Newby, 71, of Duquesne, was born January 10, 1953, in McKeesport, PA. She was the beloved daughter of the late Rester and Eula Stephens Smith. Daryl was the youngest of seven siblings.
Daryl departed this life on September 15, 2024, at Kane Community Living Center in McKeesport, PA. Her passing was exactly seven years later, the same day as the love of her life. This would be the completion of their beautiful love story.
Daryl attended school at the Duquesne School District where she graduated. She was employed at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in the Dietary Department, and she was a former member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Duquesne, PA. Daryl loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by them all.

Beverly lived in Elizabeth Township near her large extended family. She was a 1961 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and attended Round Hill Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday School. After High School, Beverly attended Mansfield State Teachers College in North Central and was also employed by G. C. Murphy Company at the time.

Jared A. Edwards, 42, died Thursday September 26, 2024. He is the son of Dan and Theresa (Quintana) Mawritz. He is survived by his beloved fiance Melissa Esper; son Blake Edwards; mother of Blake Tara Braddock; brother Daniel Mawritz; sister Alina Mawritz; step-children Delaney, Lucy, and Sammy Esper; and many extended friends and relatives who loved him deeply.

Born in McKeesport on December 4, 1965, he was the youngest son of Joseph & Dolores (Massung) Arena.
Mike was a graduate of West Mifflin High School Class of 1984. A retired paramedic and firefighter, Mike enjoyed spending his time with family and his four-legged little buddy, Bubba.
