Martha “Marty” Smith Nagy, 93, of Bethel Park, formerly of Elrama, passed away on Monday, October 5th, 2020 at Paramount Senior Living in Bethel Park. She was born in Coal Bluff, PA on February 23, 1927, to the late Victor and Margaret Sasovits Smith. She was the loving wife of the late John E. Nagy. Martha is survived by her sons, Terry (Marlene) Nagy, of Davie, FL, and James (Laura) Nagy, of Jefferson Hills, brother Paul (Dolores) Smith, of Finleyville, grandchildren; Jim, Matt, Kimmy, and Terra, and great-grandchildren; Autumn, Faith, Johnny, Lacey, Lukas, Sebastian, Rylin, Reagan and Ryan. In addition to her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by her grandson, T.J., and great-grandson, Christian. She was a member of the Boat Club in Elizabeth, enjoyed nature, walking, was a lover of animals, enjoyed feeding deer, and enjoyed gardening. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. Sheri Lynn Williams, 51 of Elizabeth passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Jefferson Hospital. She was born in Pittsburgh on February 19, 1969 to the late Larry and Diane Barca Williams. She is survived by her daughter Jessica K. Buckery of Elizabeth, and brother, Jerry (Darlene) Williams of Pymatuning, and pets Midnight, Boots, Ivy, JiJi, Sugie, Panda, and Missy. Sheri is preceded in death by her parents Larry and Diane Williams. She was a member of the Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Company. Sheri was a diehard Steelers fan and liked to support the Penguins as well. She enjoyed spending time with the people she loved and was often the center of the conversation. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

On October 1st, 2020, God called home Yvonne Moore Savage. She was born on August 10th, 1963, in Homestead to Edith Filius Moore and the late Bruce K. Moore.  She was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, grandma “GG”, sister, and friend. She leaves behind lots of loved ones. She was the loving wife of thirty-two years to Dave Savage. She is survived by her husband Dave Savage of North Huntingdon, her three children Kelli Pastore of Glassport, Kevin Savage of New Stanton, and David Savage of Port Vue, her mother Edith Filius Moore of North Huntingdon, her sister Denise Zetler of North Huntingdon, brother Joe Moore of Irwin, and her grandchildren Niya, Raylynn, Serenity, Saveana, Santino, Alaya, Harley, and Misha, and another one on the way, loving dog Jax, and many nieces and nephews. Yvonne was preceded in death by her father Bruce K. Moore. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning. Yvonne has a lot of people who loves her. She was a dear friend to all. Violet Mary Molinari Kovtun 90 of Glassport formerly of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at her home. She was born in Glassport on January 11th, 1930 to the late Louis and Louise Scapaletti Molinari. Violet was the loving wife of 43 years to the late George D. Kovtun. She is survived by her son and daughters George (Kathleen) Kovtun of Clairton, Jonelle Barbati of Oakmont, Candice DiLembo of Squirrel Hill, and Jessa Kovtun of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Grandchildren Melissa, Melonie, Amanda, Robert, Juliet, Louis, Mia. Great-Grandchildren Holly, Maya, Jaxson, Milena, Rocco, Robert, Paul, Louis and James, and great-great-grandchild Marley. Surviving brother John Molinari of McKeesport. She is preceded in death by her brothers Dominic and Louis Molinari and sister Margaret Denicola. She was a member of Queen of the Rosary Church where she was also part of the choir. She enjoyed square dancing and gardening. She loved flowers. Rochelle “Pixie” Diaz Cavendish, 59 of Clairton, formerly of Turtle Creek, passed away on Wednesday September 16th, 2020 at her home. She was born in McKeesport on May 2nd, 1961 to the late Joseph Diaz and Dorothy Trainer Diaz. Rochelle is survived by her three children, Steven Cavendish of McKeesport, Michael Cavendish, of West Homestead, and Charles (Khara) Cavendish, of New Franklin, OH, grandchildren, Kristian, Alexia, Skylie, and two other grandchildren, sisters Patricia Diaz of Clairton, Mary Nesky of Clairton, and Rose Polowsky of Clairton, and brothers Joseph (Darla) Diaz of Munhall, and Michael Diaz of Clairton. She was preceded in death by her sister Donna Stacey. Rochelle enjoyed crochet and quilting and making art. She was a home maker. She is survived by her daughter Gina (Jason) Collins, of Baldwin, her son Richard Joseph Jenkins, of Clairton, grandchildren Dejah Jenkins, Nikko Jenkins, and Gisele Jenkins, step-granddaughter, Janessa Collins, sisters, Paula Gori, of Jefferson, Sandy Smaniotto, of Uniontown, Debbie (Earl) Klechner, of Peters Township and dog Midnight. Hughes Sr. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Marie (Sydney) Walton of McKeesport, sons Joseph R. (Zita) Hughes Jr. of Glassport, and Damian R. She was born in Pittsburgh on June 29th, 1961 to the late Alfred and Ruth Merriman English. Linda Jerome was the loving wife of 37 years to Henry Jerome, of Clairton. She is survived by her son Matthew Jerome, of Clairton, brother John (Lori) English of Orlando, sisters Gail (Gary) Oskin, of Liberty Boro, and Pamela Burnsworth, of Glassport, nieces Melissa Naglreiter, Heather Shotts, Kali English, nephews, Jeffrey and Robert Burnsworth, one great-nephew and three great-nieces. Agnes Helen “Aggie” Rushe Barrett, 76 of Glassport, formerly of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, July 30th 2020 at Sycamore Estate, in Duquesne.

She was born in McKeesport on August 5th 1943 to the late William and Agnes Tachoir Rushe. Agnes was the loving wife of 54 years to the late Charles A. Barrett, who preceded her in death in 2018.

She is survived by sons; Charles (Sheri) Barrett, of Glassport, and Thomas (Gina) Barrett, of Dravosburg, grandchildren; Hannah and Brett, brothers: Robert (Lori) Rushe, of Duquesne, Ralph Rushe, of New Baltimore MI; sister: JoAnn Rushe, of Glassport, and nieces and nephews. Agnes was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Rushe, and brothers, William Rushe, Thomas Rushe, and Terry Rushe.

She was a member of the Queen of the Rosary Parish in Glassport. She enjoyed many things such as reading, crafts, puzzles, cooking, baking, and seeing her grandchildren.

Patricia Gallo was born November 5th 1935 in Derry, PA., the daughter of the late Domenic and Clara Leccia of Corsica, France. Patricia is survived by daughters; Annette M. (Uwe) Reins, of Calabash, N.C., and Karol A. (Keith) Goodman of North Ridgeville, OH, sons; Sunda (Debbie) Gallo Jr., of Dayton, VA, John S. (Kim) Gallo, of Conneaut Lake, PA, Michael D. (Shannon) Gallo of Mt. Pleasant, SC, grandchildren; Bryan, Michael, Johnny, Danielle, Chase, Jared, Marisa, Ava, Mason, Grant, and Owin and seventeen great-grandchildren, sisters; Jolene Eaglehouse, of Latrobe, PA, Marie (Terry) Harrison, of Irwin, PA, brothers; Samuel (Regina) Leccia, of Belle Vernon, PA, James Leccia, of Belle Vernon, PA, and John (Joy) Leccia of Belle Vernon, PA. Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Dominic Leccia, and sisters; Janie Pickering and Marcella Margo. She was known by many as an outstanding cook. Patricia worked as the Head Chef for Elby’s, Head Cook for Fairfax School System, and Head Chef and Logistics Coordinator for Meals on Wheels. David Paul Dragosin

David Paul “Big Daddy Drag” Dragosin, of Clairton, PA, Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at the age of 71. David was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to Paul and Carmela DaBaldo Dragosin. He was a graduate of Clairton High school in 1967 and continued his education at California University of Pennsylvania where he studied Radio/T.V. Communications-Pathology and Audiology and later received the University’s Outstanding Alumni Award. He married Cynthia Coburn-Dragosin on June 23rd, 1973 in Connellsville, PA. They raised four children together, which survive David. Daughters, Kimberly (Phil) Kellar, of Elizabeth, Colleen Dragosin, of Clairton, Crysta Dragosin, of Long Branch, NJ, and one son, Adam (Lisa) Dragosin of Barrington, IL. David is also survived by his loving wife Cynthia Dragosin, of Clairton, sister, Deborah “Debbie” Bielec, of Jefferson, grandchildren, Celina Maselli, Ashton Maselli, Delaney Kellar, Bruno Dragosin, and new baby Dragosin, Born July 25th. David was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Carmela Dragosin. He worked in the radio broadcast industry as a disc jockey, radio talk show host, and general manager for 23 years before focusing his passion in the T.V. broadcast industry where he was owner-operator of Dragosin Production Works from 1996-2020. David was a Jaycee, a member of the Sons of Italy in Uniontown, where he was the co-organizer of the Italian Festivals of Uniontown and Fayette County, and charity fund-raiser in Fayette County for the March of Dimes and the American Heart Association for several years. He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, in Clairton, was active as an altar server, and also participated in the choir. David was a school director in Clairton for over 10 years, and was the co-president of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society. Family and friends will be received for a Memorial on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 2-4p.m at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. Elizabeth “Betty” Jane Harrison O’Bryon, 88 of Jefferson Hills passed away on Monday July 20th, 2020 at the Arden Courts of Jefferson Hills. She was born in Dravosburg on August 9th, 1931 to the late Harry and Martha Wainwright Harrison. Elizabeth was the loving wife of 59 years to the late James O’Bryon.

She is survived by her daughter Marsha J. (Douglas) Murphy, of Chantilly, Virginia, grandchildren Mathew and Kyle Murphy of Chantilly, Virginia and loving dog Bear. Along with her parents Elizabeth was preceded in death by brothers; Harry Harrison, Charles Harrison, and sister, Dorothy Beard.

She was a member of the Pine Run United Methodist Church and member of Order of the Eastern Star, Clairton Chapter, as well as The Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She enjoyed bingo, volunteered for food banks in Clairton and Duquesne, was a member of the voting board in Jefferson, and was formerly employed by U.S. Steel Irvin Works as a Billing Clerk.

Richard D. “Rich” Kostyzak, Sr., 55, of Glassport passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at his home. He was born in McKeesport on April 7, 1965 to William Peter Kostyzak, Sr. and Enise M. Donofrio Kostyzak. In addition to his parents he is survived by daughters Dania Kostyzak, of Glassport and Paige Fields of McKeesport, son Richard D. (Erin) Kostyzak, Jr. of Freeport, grandchildren, Richard III and Evelyn, brother Mike “Zak” Kostyzak, of Glassport, and Melanie Bradley, the mother of his two children. Rich was preceded in death by his brother, William Kostyzak., Jr. He enjoyed music of all kinds, reading, and watching historical documentaries.

William “Bill” Richard Parsons, Jr.

William “Bill” Richard Parsons, Jr., 75, a lifelong resident of Clairton, passed away at his home on Friday July 3, 2020. William was born in Charleroi on June 22, 1945 to the late William R. Parsons, Sr. and Sevilla Simpson Parsons. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Alice Griffiths Parsons. William is survived by his sons William R. (Tamara) Parsons of Hamilton, Ontario Canada, and Chris W. Parsons, of Clairton, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends, as well as his dogs Chico and Cisco. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dolores Schimmel. He was a member of Pine Run United Methodist Church in Clairton. William was employed for 40 years at Eastman Chemical in West Elizabeth, and was a proud U.S. Marine Corporal, serving in the Drum and Bugle Corps during the Vietnam War.
