Paul Edward Runge, 78, of White Oak, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at home. He was born January 16, 1943 in Boston, PA and was the son of the son of the late Edward L. and Catherine (Faye) Runge. Paul worked as an electrician for the former US Steel in Christy Park and General Dynamic. He was a former member of the MOOSE club in Elwood City and enjoyed model trains. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and avid NASCAR fan, most notably Mark Martin in the number 6 car. He is survived by his wife, Carol L. (Knox) Runge, sons, Gregory Runge of Groton, CT and David Paul Runge of White Oak, daughters, Michele Renee Smedberg (Fiancé Chris Mirante) of Norwich, CT, and Carrie Lynn (Randy) Olsen of Waterford, CT, grandchildren, Chelsea, Jonathan and Ashley, great-grandchildren, Ezekiel and Paisley, brother, Bernard Runge and sisters, Dorrine Miller and Faye Ann Pellasce, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his son, Neal Alan Runge, grandson, Nathan, sisters, Mary Alice Skroupski and Marlene Corazzelli and brother, Raymond Runge. There is no visitation. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Frank Michael "Fortunato" Maglicco, 80, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at home. He was born June 9, 1940 in McKeesport and was the son of the late William "Bull" and Kathleen (Naugle) Maglicco. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School, Youngstown State University, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Kappa/ Theta Xi and The University of Pittsburgh. Frank retired after 37 years as a teacher, most tenured at AIU and was also was safety director and a truck driver for Schlessinger Trucking. He was an active and faithful member of St. Mary's Romanian Church in McKeesport. Frank was head guard and manager of Renzie pool, and very active in athletics. He played football for McKeesport High School, coached football and wrestling at Serra Catholic High School and coached wrestling at South Allegheny High School. He loved visiting friends and fishing at his cabin in Bedford County.

Jean Elizabeth Pozzuto, 89, of Naples FL, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 just one day after her birthday due to complications of COVID. She was born April 22, 1932 in Duquesne and was the daughter of the late Edward and Agnes (Wohl) Shaffer. Jean was a devoted wife of 70 years to the late Michael Pozzuto, who passed away January 16, 2021. She worked alongside her husband, as a Manager of Pozzuto & Sons Plumbing but also as proprietor of Jean's Bath Boutique. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God, St. Patrick Church, Christy Park.

Geraldine Louise Warren, 77, of White Oak, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was born September 25, 1943 in Smithdale and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Ethel (Couchenour) Yuhas. She was the wife of the late Thomas R. Warren who passed away April 22, 2008. Geraldine had worked in the late 1970s at the former US Steel National Tube Works as a furnace operator. She was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan. She love to cook and bake and working in her flower garden. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.

Dona K. Miller, 76, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was born July 20, 1944 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Ritchey) Pentland. Dona was a member of the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church and was the office manager of her husband, Dr. Dan Miller. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Clarence Daniel Miller, son, Dr. Daniel Shawn and his wife Mandeep Miller of Rostraver, grandchildren, Alex, Luke and Sophie Miller, and nephew, Rick and his wife Rena Everly of Sewickley Township. Leon V. Kulasa, 81, of Monroeville, formerly of McKeesport and Pleasant Hills, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at home. He was born June 18, 1939 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Leon J. and Helen (Szajnukowska) Kulasa. He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish. Leon was a retired Engineer. He had worked for Westinghouse, Pittsburgh DeMoine Steel and Bricmont. He loved astronomy, golf, reading, and was a casino black jack fan. He loved to travel. He visited many places including the Great China Wall, Russia, Japan, and Saudi Arabia.

Rosemary M. Kesser Gerondites, 90, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born April 3, 1931 in Greensburg and was the daughter of the late Henry V. McKay, Sr. and Rose Marie (Gregg) McKay. Rosemary was the wife of the late Milan John Kesser, Sr., who passed away in 1972 and the late James Gerondites, who passed away in 1987. She was a member of St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon and was also a member of The Catholic Daughters. She worked for Bell Telephone in her younger days and would later go on to work as a home health aide for many years. She was also a member of AARP. Rosemary was known for her baking of cakes for all occasions and her beautiful cake decorating skills.

Hobert E. "Hobie" Wright, 96, of Greensburg, formerly of Terra Alta, WV, and Elizabeth Township, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021. He was born December 24, 1924 in St. Albans, WV, and was the son of the late Mac and Alma (Minez) Wright. He was the husband of the late Geraldine (Marraccini) Wright and the late Betty Ellen (Lang) Wright. Hobie was a US Marine Corps Veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He participated in action against the enemy on Iwo Jima from February 19, 1945 to March 16, 1945. He re-enlisted after WWII and served in the Korean War.

Warren of Elizabeth Township and the late Marilyn (Closser) Warren. Ernie was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School where he participated in Varsity Wrestling and Baseball. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed nature and the outdoors. Ernie had worked for the US Postal Service.

Anna Mae Gioia, 94, of Lincoln Boro, passed away Thursday April 1, 2021 at home. She was born June 5, 1926 on the family farm in Elizabeth Township, and was the daughter of the late Clyde and Arelia Billick. She was the wife of the late Nicholas (Nick) Gioia. They got married on her 21st birthday and were married for 41 years. Anna was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick Church, and also a member of the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens. She worked for White Star Laundry and J & L Mill in Christy Park. She was a long time employee of McKeesport Hospital as a Messenger Escort and was a Union Steward for Local 205. Anna Mae was best known for her love of her trips to the casino and baking, especially Easter Bread and Pizzelles.

Dennis was self-employed in the trucking business for many years and was a member of the Teamsters Union No. 249. He was a US ARMY Veteran and also worked security for US Steel. He was a lover of nature and enjoyed hunting with his friends. In his retirement, he enjoyed playing tennis with his wife and Renzie pals.
