Robert E. Timlin, Sr, 85, of North Versailles, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021. He was born September 2, 1935 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Vernon and Agnes (Hoffman) Timlin. He was the husband of the late Jean (Fowle) Timlin who passed away July 6, 2014. Robert was retired from the Pittsburgh Public Schools and was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

John Stephen Pavlik, Jr., 71, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021. He was born February 17, 1949 in McKeesport and was the son of the late John Stephen Pavlik, Sr. and Marian Christine (Yonek) Bartko and step-son of the late Joseph Bartko. He was a US ARMY veteran serving in the 101st Airborne in Vietnam and for his service he was awarded The Purple Heart, The National Defense Service Medal,The Army Commendation Medal, The Bronze Star Medal, The Air Medal, and The Vietnam Campaign Medal. John retired after 30 years of service at US Steel in Clairton. After retirement he taught pipefitting at CCAC and worked for MK Technologies. He was a jack of all trades that could fix anything and was also an Eagle Scout. He loved boating, camping and sailboats. His favorite past time was spending time at his camp in Waterford on the porch with his dog Misha.

John William Ivaska, 85,of White Oak, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at home. He was born April 2, 1935 in Duquesne and was the son of the late Jozef and Emelia (Ursin) Ivaska. John was a US ARMY veteran and earned the Good Conduct Medal. He worked for many years as a machinist at numerous places and retired from PEI in Munhall. He was a member of the former St. Mark Lutheran Church in Duquesne and was currently attending Sampson's Mills Presbyterian Church in White Oak.

Mary Ann (Kobik) Englert, 83, of Elizabeth, PA, died January 1st, 2021. Born February 10th, 1937 in McKeesport, she was daughter of the late Nicholas and Helen (Butkovsky) Kobik, and wife of the late Chester Englert.
After graduating with honors from St. Peter’s High School, Mary Ann worked for years at the Westinghouse Bettis Atomic Plant as a secretary, supporting senior research scientists. With the birth of her children, she devoted herself to nurturing her home, family, and church.

Edward John Freinstein, 76, of North Huntingdon, passed away December 29, 2020. He was born November 28, 1944 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Edward Freinstein, Sr. and the late Ruth (Swigart) Freinstein. Beloved husband, father, step-father, grandfather, and friend, affectionately known to family members as Butch (Butchie). Ed grew up mostly in Penn Hills and graduated from Penn State University in 1967. He loved animals, especially dogs, and had a way with them. He loved to golf and was especially happy when the weather allowed him to get out on the course. He was also an avid Steelers Fan. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Butch was retired from Westinghouse Bombardier.

In a glorious celebration, Cheryl Primich Kiser was welcomed home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She departed this earth on Saturday December 26, 2020 and exchanged her worn-out earthly body for a brand new one in heaven. Her feet once numb and without feeling, are now dancing in worship. Her voice once shaking and frail now sings in worship to the Lord. Her tongue once praising Jesus now praises him directly and continuously with renewed joy. He was born May 11, 1948 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Harry Lloyd "Bud" Burton and the late Ida Mae "Cubby" (McLean) Burton. upon graduating Duquesne High School he worked for US Steel Duquesne Works as a welder, then as a boss until they closed. He later worked in the Fabrication Industry including opening his own shop. He retired in 2016. Tim coached 13 years for the Elizabeth Forward High School Girls Soccer Team.

Raymond Richard Little of Monroeville, formerly of Elizabeth Township and North Huntingdon Township, died Thursday December 24, 2020. Born in Glassport, he was raised in the Coal Valley area of Clairton. In high school he developed his desire for electronic equipment, building radios from scratch. He went on to apprentice as an electrician at the USS National Tube Works in McKeesport eventually becoming an estimator for the Electrical Maintenance Division. He became a master electrician before retiring from USS Clairton Steel Works.

She worked as a realtor with her husband for over 50 years in their business of Century 21 and later Classic Homes . She was also the owner and operator of Shirley Apartments in White Oak. She enjoyed playing bingo and card games, especially hand and foot, with her friends and family. Playing cards with her siblings and mother were her absolute favorite. She loved her family and her grandchildren.
