Glenn Michael Orenyak, 61, of McKeesport, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020. He was born March 17, 1959 in McKeesport and was the son of the late George and Helen (Waladjia) Orenyak. He was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, McKeesport. He worked for GEM Products and the former US Steel National Tube Works.

Irene F. Knox, 94, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020. She was born January 5, 1926 in Blythedale and was the daughter of the late Deano Ferrari and the late Bessie (Martinelli) Ferrari Brunory. She was the wife of the late James Knox. Irene owned and operated a beauty shop in West Newton for over 50 years. She enjoyed dancing, gardening and being a hairdresser.

William George Wagner, 65, of White Oak, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was born April 1, 1955 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Harry and Francis (Monaghan) Wagner. William was a Paramedic. He had worked for Penn Hills EMS for 30 years and had also worked at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Mercy Hospital ER, Union Railroad, and Stat Medevac. He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman.

Rachael Anne Coffman, 24, of Robinson Twp, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020. She was born August 19, 1996 in Monroeville. Rachael was magical. She brightened every room and every life that she entered. She was an incredible singer who loved spending her days surrounded by music, whether she was playing, singing, or just listening to it. She was spontaneous, humorous, and fun. She loved everyone around her fiercely and without reservation. She will be deeply missed by all.

Gilbert “Gib” A. Bergman, 75 of Sutersville, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020 at UPMC Magee Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born June 25, 1945 in Burgettstown and was the son of the late August F. Bergman, Jr. and the late Frances (Noga) Bergman. He is the beloved husband of Helen (Angelcyk) Bergman for 54 years, proud father of Douglas (Rachel) Bergman of Sutersville, Christopher Bergman, and Gregory (Ashley) of Herminie and grandfather to Jennie, Dean, Evelyn and Lillian Bergman.

John Henry Elm, 69, of Rockwood, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 10, 1951 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Robert and Colleen (Ulm) Elm. John worked for Fayette Heating and AC, and the former Parkway Plumbing and Heating. He was a US Marine Veteran and served honorably in the Vietnam War. For his service he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Star, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Barbara Lee (Abels) Minteer on Monday, December 7, 2020. She will have no more suffering from breast cancer which she valiantly fought. She was born July 23, 1939 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late John and Gladys (Schreiner) Abels. She grew up in Dravosburg and after marriage and having her children they moved to Industry in Elizabeth Township. It is here where she lived for over 50 years and created many lasting friendships. She loved sitting on her front porch and saying hello to the passersby. She enjoyed evenings on her porch entertaining neighbors and loved ones. Never learning how to drive, Barb was never one to turn down an offer to go out to eat, play cards or go to Bingo. If the wheels were turning, she was going! She was a member of the Buena Vista V.F.D Ladies Auxiliary and also worked the voting polls on Election Days.

Terry was a Code Enforcement Officer for the Boro of Carnegie and was a member of the Port Vue American Legion.

She was the wife of the late Robert Joseph Kosko. Ann was a member of the former Holy Angels Church in Hays. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed her flowers and yard work. She loved her many dogs and enjoyed training them.

Edward L. "Ed" Popp, 78, of Duquesne, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 28, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born on February 12, 1942 in Lincoln Place and grew up in Duquesne. He was the son of the late John A. "Jonica" Popp, Jr, and the late Emily F. (Tytke) Popp. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Duquesne, Allegheny County FOP Lodge 91, F & AM Aliquippa Lodge 0375, the PIN club, and Dravosburg American Legion. Ed retired from the City of Duquesne Police Department where he served as a Policeman and Detective. Additionally, he worked for the Kennywood Park Police Department and was a retired military veteran where he served a combined 25 years in the U.S. Navy active duty and the Pennsylvania Air National Guard,171st Air Refueling Wing.

Paul Eugene "Gene" Dow, 88, of Christy Park, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020.He was born January 21, 1932 in Hays and was the son of the late Ernest and Marie (Sweeny) Dow. Gene was retired from the former Devereaux Chevrolet in McKeesport. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Borrelli) Dow, daughter Cheryl Dow, sons, James, Daniel and B.J. Dow. He was preceded in death by his daughter Denise Dow, and sons, Robert, Michael and Paul Dow. There is no visitation.

Bonnie was a member of the former First United Presbyterian Church of Boston and was proprietor of the former Cozy Corner Restaurant. She is survived by her husband, Frank "Chick" Nowark, daughters, Mary (Matt) Vibostak of Finleyville, Stephanie (Rob) Obusek of Elizabeth Township, Kara (Mike) Ferlaino of North Huntingdon and Shayna (fiancée Bobby Camilli) Nowark of Elizabeth Township, grandchildren, Morgan Zuknick, Logan Obusek, Heather and David Vibostak, Vianna and Giuliana Ferlaino, and Ayden Nowark, several great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Marlene Doyle of Jefferson Hills, and nieces and nephews.

William David Alund, 88, of White Oak, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at home. He was born August 14, 1932 in McKeesport and was the son of the late George Gustave Alund, Sr, and the late Edith (Swanson) Alund. William was a member of Christy Park United Methodist Church and was a member of the former Jenny Lind United Methodist Church where he was in the choir for over 60 years. He also enjoyed participating in the McKeesport Barbershop Chorus and the National Carbide and Tool Society. He retired from Champion Tool and Die after 50 years of employment and was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.
