Staci Marie Readel Perri, 46, of Versailles, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019. She was born August 9, 1972 in McKeesport and was the daughter of Pamela "Pam" (Schaffner) Readel of White Oak and Charles H. "Chuck" (Susan) Readel of Versailles. Staci loved animals and to some she was known as a dog whisperer. She was a rebel with a heart of gold. She worked in the food and beverage industry for many years. Her greatest joy in life was being a mom to her daughter, Mia.

Harry George "Butch" Gensler, 79, of North Versailles, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Forbes Hospital. He was born January 26, 1940 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Harry A. and Theresa Hison Gensler. He was an active member of Mifflin Avenue United Methodist Church and later, Boston United Methodist Church and worked a Mechanic for Pittsburgh Public Schools. He also coached his children's softball teams when they were growing up and also delivered papers for the Daily News.

Paul Edward McCullum, 81, of West Newton, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital. He was born October 10, 1937 in McKeesport and was the son of the late James Francis and Mary Irene (Gilday) McCullum. He was a US Army Veteran. Ronald Gilbert Phillips, 87, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019. He was born March 16, 1932 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Bert A. and Elizabeth Heaps Phillips. Ronald worked for US Steel National Tube in McKeesport and after retirement worked as a courier for The Greensburg Tribune Review. He was a member of the Jacktown Ride & Hunt Club, the Hahntown Fire Hall, the Italian Miners Club and was a founder of Norwin Soccer for which he was honored.

He was born May 23, 1954 in McKeesport and was a crane operator for the former US Steel National Tube Works and Duquesne Works. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Bonnie L. (McLaughlin) Todd. He was preceded in death by his cherished son, Frank Anthony Todd IV, who passed away November 7, 2009. There is no visitation. William "Bill" Cole, Jr. was called home by the Father on Thursday, March 28, 2019. Bill was a husband, father and friend. He was also a car enthusiast through and through. Bill enjoyed all things automotive and passed that passion to his sons. He was a creative handyman and could fix just about anything. Bill had a solid career as a research technician at the US Steel Research facility in Monroeville, PA. Bill is survived by his eldest son, Wayne married to Leigh (O'Brien) with daughters Elizabeth and Lexi; son, Scott married to Malissa (Kazmer) with daughter Amber. A small memorial service will be held for family and friends at a later date. Daniel R. Bartkus, 74, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019. He was born December 28, 1944 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Bennie and Sophie "Sally" (Dobos) Bartkus. Daniel was a retired Allegheny County Police Officer and was a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. For his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal, AFM 900-3/Vietnam Service Medal, and the AFM 900-3/Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and Disabled American Veterans.

Olek Sr., and the late Sophia (Sherwin) Olek. Jack was a member of Corpus Christi Parish in McKeesport and was a retired Supervisor of Budgets and Statistics at Duquesne Light Co. He was a graduate of Duquesne University. Jack loved his vegetable garden, planting flowers, working around the house, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates.

Margaret A. "Peg" Bryer, 76, of McKeesport, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019. She was born October 30, 1942 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Frank and Esther Goins Marzina. She was the wife of the late Raymond E. "Butch" Bryer who passed away May 12, 2009. She worked many years as manager of the gift shops in UPMC Shadyside Hospital and UPMC Mercy Hospital, as well as being an administrative assistant for Rotorooter. She was a member of the former St. Martin DePores Church in McKeesport. She loved traveling, bowling, playing cards and going to the casino. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and going thrift store shopping.

Milda Jean (Lux) Fedorka, of Greensburg, formerly of Greenock, died March 16, 2019, at Redstone Highlands in Greensburg, Pa. She celebrated her 99th birthday this past December 26, 2018. Lovingly known as “Mimi” by many, she is preceded in death by her late husband, George “Poppop” Fedorka, who died November 7, 1997, and by her parents, the late John “Honus” Lux and Jennie (Nabors) Lux. Milda was a member of McKeesport High School class of 1937 and sang in the State Championship acapella choir. She studied commercial art and later taught at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She then worked for many years as an artist for the G.C. Murphy Company in McKeesport, Pa. and retired from there as head of the art department.

Chester F. "Chet" Ornowski, 93, of White Oak, formerly of McKeesport, died March 14, 2019 at home surrounded by family. He was born January 16, 1926 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Joseph and Barbara (Kurkowski) Ornowski. He was preceded by the love of his life, the late Patricia (Shank) Ornowski, who passed away January 31, 2014. After completing high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, Where he served as grade four technician with the 76th Infantry Division. In 1944, he was drafted into WWII, where he was a part of the Normandy Invasion. For his service he received 2 Purple Heart Medals for combat, The Good Conduct Medal, American Theatre Service Medal, EAME Theatre Service Medal with three bronze stars, and The WWII Victory Medal. He retired from US Steel in 1983 after 35 years of service where he worked as a lab technician.

Hacker and younger sister of the late Margery L. Burns of Elizabeth Township. A 1955 honors graduate of McKeesport High School, Dianne attended Allegheny College before briefly working for Connecticut General Life Insurance and Morris Knowles and Associates, Inc. in Pittsburgh. Later she was quietly instrumental in the inception and early success of King's Family Restaurants, a business founded by her husband of 57 years, Hartley C. King.
