Sharon L. Truxal

By James W. Shirley Funeral Home Inc. | Posted in: James W. Shirley Funeral Home

Sharon L. Truxal, 71 of N. Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at her home. She was born February 3, 1950 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (Rubash) Morrison. Sharon gave meaning to, home is where the heart is. She loved music, turn on a good Oldie and she could be found showing you how to do the jitterbug. She made a family that was so full of love surrounded by her grandkids and great grandkids who she full heartedly adored.

Sharon loved the Holidays which were followed by her decorating her house, cooking lots of food, and gathering all of her family to spend quality time together. She was a giver, she made sure nobody felt left out not even her canine pup Scooby. She loved summer time, going to the beach or relaxing at home swimming and tending to her flowers and watching the birds eat out of their feeders. Sharon was a woman of many trades. She loved to sit around and tell stories with her brothers and sister or go on bingo outings and try her luck, although for her it was all about the time being spent together.

Sharon loved life, she loved making friends at the campground and throwing huge block parties for people to get to know one another. She loved to decorate her trailer and golf cart and dress her grandkids up and dance and party all night long. As wild and free as Sharon was she was also very homely, there was no place like grandma’s house. She was a wise intelligent woman who anyone could sit and talk with for hours or pull up a seat to a good movie she would suggest.
