He was born November 12, 1932 in Herminie, a son of the late Joseph and Frances (Vozel) Jerina and was also preceded in death by his wife Clara F. (Hopkinson) Jerina and siblings, Joseph and Donald Jerina, Fran Zunic, and Mary Wood. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a retired engineer for Westinghouse Airbrake Co., Wilmerding, a member of Word of Life Ministries, Greensburg, and the VFW and the S.N.P.J.
