Charlotte J. (Grimes) Sernick, 88, of Glassport, formerly of West Elizabeth, passed Monday May 16, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Minnie (Whitfield) Grimes. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert Sernick, and grand-daughters Rebecca Wawrin of Harrisburg and Jennifer Wawrin of Greensburg. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jayleen Wawrin, sisters Grace, Alberta, and Betty, and brothers Albert and Gilbert. Charlotte worked as a nurse's aide, attended the Assembly of God Church, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and decorating.
