William Leo “Bill” Spehar, Sr., 79, of Dravosburg, formerly of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at U.P.M.C. McKeesport Hospital. He was born in McKeesport on July 9th, 1944 to the late Mathias Spehar and Loretta Vennebush. William was the loving husband of 57 years to his wife Donna J.B. Spehar. In addition to his beloved wife Donna, William is further survived by his children Cynthia Kulha of Dravosburg, Pamela (Todd) McCombs of Dravosburg, William L. (Haze) Spehar Jr. of West Mifflin, grandchildren Jamie, Joshua, Jeremy, Amanda, and Amber, as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his son Michael K. Spehar, siblings Thomas Spehar, and Kathleen Seeman. He was a member of the American Legion, a former councilman, a Cub Scout leader, and a baseball coach. William served his country while being enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He also worked as a U.S. Postal Worker for most of his life. Bill enjoyed collecting oldies' records. Debra Denise Walmsley, 65, of Clairton, formerly of North Huntington, passed away on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at her home. She was born in McKeesport on May 21st, 1959 to the late Terrence Patrick Murphy and late Dorothy Walters Schad. She was the loving wife of 43 years to the late Robert Ackland Walmsley. Debra is survived by her daughters Jennifer Schad of Punxsutawney, Starr Walmsley of Duquesne, guardianship Spencer Schad of Bridgeville, sisters Tammy (Michael) Miller of North Huntington, Sandra Henretty, brother Terrence (Ginger) Murphy, Jr. of Greencastle, grandchildren Alex, Emily, Rylee, great grandchild Lainey her beloved pets Millie and Reese, grand-furbabies Gracie Gray and Mizar, as well as many nieces and nephews. Debra was preceded in death by her parents. She was a member of the Sons of Columbus, the V.F.W. as well as the WACC Club. Debra worked as a professional commercial seamstress and also worked for Johnny’s Glass for over 10 years. Dana Marie Allen Goodrum, 74, of Clairton, formerly of Monongahela, passed away on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at McKeesport Hospital. She was born in Monongahela on July 9th, 1949 to the late George and Dorothy Mae Shaw Allen. Dana was the loving wife of 57 years to Charles “Bill” W. Goodrum. In addition to her beloved husband Charles “Bill” Dana is further survived by her children Dawn (Robert) Loera in Clairton, Tina Goodrum of Glassport, and Sean (Tammy) Goodrum of Glassport, siblings George (Joyce) Allen of New Eagle, Richard (Joyce) Allen of New Eagle, Carol Daffern of Castle Shannon, Lynne (Richard) Kraus of Donora, grandchildren Chelsea, Dakota, Dayton, Robert, Tyler, Zachary, Mikayla, Cole, Maleena, and great-grandchild Adeline, as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dana was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Lynn Allen. She worked as a bartender for the Polish National Alliance #750 in Glassport for over 18 years. Timothy (Timi) David Fite, 32 years old from Glassport, was born on May 18th, 1992. Timi unexpectedly passed away on May the 22nd, 2024. After Timi’s father passed away in 2016, Timi sadly lost his way and had a long battle fighting his own demons in which he ultimately lost to. Timi’s personality and smile is something that will never be forgotten. Anyone that truly knew Timi would tell you that he had a hug that was undeniably comforting and had a smile and laugh that could really light up a room. Timi’s personality and presence is something that is going to be irreplaceable. Timi enjoyed dirt bikes and quads, sports, music and mostly selfies! Timi was a hard worker and any job he worked at he did with passion! Timi loved harder than anyone we knew even on his darkest days, he just always wanted to stay true to his word, be the best son, brother & friend. Timi is survived by his beloved mother Joyce Scheidter, siblings Tara Fite (Keith), & Taylor Fite (Cassidy), & step brother Derek Betchy (Darcie), niece Kenadee and nephews Karver & Korbin Schibik. His three dogs Pup Pup, GiGi & Lambchop. grandmother Yvonne Waugaman, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Timi is preceded in death by his father Timothy O’Shea Fite, dog Pinkey, grandparents Paula Scheidter (Umma), Thomas Scheidter, Charles Fite, Robert Waugaman, and Thomas King. We know Timi is in heaven at this time, with his music blaring so loud you can hear it miles away and asking which hat matched his shoes best and which watch he should wear, 10 times over! Marian “Annett” Huschak O'Hara, 85, a lifelong resident of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Jefferson Hospital. She was born in Clairton on July 25, 1938 to the late John and Marian Theresa LaValle Huschak. She is survived by sons, Grant (Cheryl) O'Hara of Wheeling, WV, James O'Hara of Clairton, daughter Elizabeth Jane “Betsy” O'Hara of Clairton, sisters Marlene Wilcher of Clairton, Darlene Hopkins of Clairton, brother George (Barbara) Bracolini of Port Vue., 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Marian was preceded in death by sons, Richard O'Hara, Allen O'Hara, and John O'Hara, brothers Raymond Huschak, and Jack Huschak. She was a member of the of the former St. Paulinus, and was also formerly a member of St. Clare of Assisi Church. Although Marian worked for a short while at Westinghouse most of her life she was dedicated to taking care of her family. James Gerald “Jim” Racan, 81, of Glassport, formerly of Elizabeth and Duquesne passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Jefferson Hospital. He was born in McKeesport on November 1, 1942, to the late Joseph and Pearl Crosser Racan. James was the loving husband of 47 years the late Marsha Hunt Racan. He is survived by his daughter April (Bart Elder) Racan of Glassport, son Jimmy Racan of West Mifflin, brothers Joseph Racan of North Huntingdon and Richard (Barbara) Racan of Philadelphia, sisters Carol (Michael) Straniello of Orlando Florida, Linda (James) Reynolds of Irwin, grandchildren, Cayle Racan, Elijah Racan, and Jimmy, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved “BFF” dog Bella. James was preceded in death by sister Shirley Molnar, daughter-in-law Candy Racan, and sister-in-law Deborah Racan. James served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed for 23 years at U.S. Steel in Homestead, and Matthews Bus Service and Port Authority for 20 years as well as S and S transit. He enjoyed playing guitar for various groups in the area, loved dancing to Doo-Wop, was a Pittsburgh Pirates fan, enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach, and loved dogs. In addition to her beloved husband, Joyce is further survived by her children Corinda (Brian) Smith of Liberty Boro, Michael A. Betty J. "BJ" Evanich, age 91, of Glassport, formerly of McKeesport. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Beloved wife of the late John Evanich for 60+ wonderful years. Loving mother of the late Vicki Miller. Dear Grandma of John and Andy Miller; Great Grandma of Victoria Miller. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Pansy Rager, and her siblings, Kenny, Ruth, Bud, and Barbara. She is also survived by her furry companion, Zasha, and many nieces and nephews. Betty and John raised their family in McKeesport. They had a passion for traveling the country and creating memories. She enjoyed teaching arts and crafts classes out of her home to the community. Betty devoted the last 22 years of her life to taking care of her great granddaughter Victoria. She loved teaching Victoria to bake and creating a lifetime of memories with her. Doris Mae Pry, 96, of Irwin, formerly residing in Dravosburg for 70 years, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at her home. She was born in Homestead on January 18, 1928 to the late Wendelinous and Alice Clark Mayer. Doris was the loving wife of 57 years to the late William A. Pry, who preceded her in death in 2003. Doris is survived by her daughters Michelle L. Pry, of Dravosburg, and Suzzann K. (Mark) Patrick, of North Huntingdon, son William L. (Eileen) Pry, of Elizabeth, grandchildren; Nicole Sharkey, Angela (Philip) Grand, Jill (Donny) Higinbotham, Alicia (Paul) King, Ed (Stacey) Galiza, Chrissy (Josh) Cofano, Mike Pry, Tiffeni Furman, Chad (Alaina) Patrick, and Scott (Lauren) Patrick, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Connie, brother, Russell Mayer, and nephew David Mayer. She was a member at the Catholic Holy Angels Parish in Hays and was involved in a card club and coffee club. Doris worked as the head cook at Taylor Allderdice High School, and also at McKeesport Hospital as an escort. She enjoyed playing bingo and crochet. She also loved Norman Rockwell figurines. Shirley A. “Molly B” Smorey 70, of McKeesport, passed on Sunday, April 28th, 2024 at McKeesport Hospital. She was born on August 1st, 1953 to the late Michael Smorey and Louise Yeager of McKeesport. She was the loving wife of 51 years to the late Dennis Ervin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Dennis Ervin, brother Eugene Smorey, sister Michelle (Angel) Moore, and grandson Matthew Morgan. She is survived by sons Dennis Smorey of Munhall, Shawn (Stefanie) Ervin of Penn Hills, and daughters Shannon (Howard) Morgan of Rostraver, and Danette (Donald) Aber of West Elizabeth. EvaLyn F. Bachisin Cribbs, 90 of Dravosburg, formerly of McKeesport, passed away on Friday April 19th, 2024 at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. She was born in UPMC McKeesport Hospital on March 3rd, 1934 to the late Stephen and Anna Habin Bachisin. EvaLyn was the loving wife of 58 years to George A. Cribbs Sr. She is survived by her children George A. Cribbs Jr. of Dravosburg, Jay S. (Vicki White) Cribbs of Colorado Springs, Nancy A. (Patrick) Hamilton of McKeesport, grandchildren Jill Cribbs, Alexander Hamilton, great grandchildren Olivia Steele, Amber Carr, and great great grandchild Rose. EvaLyn was preceded in death by her siblings Irene, Julia, Dorey, Olga, Elsie, Emil and her grandchild Mindy Lee. She worked as a nurse for UPMC McKeesport Hospital for 22 years, later she was a nurse for National Tube US Steel in McKeesport, and retired from her nursing position at Bettis Atomic Plant. She was a certified CPR instructor. EvaLyn was a member of the Richland Cemetery board of directors. She was involved in the 1st cohort of the Harvard Nurses Study, as well as a McKeesport Hospital Alumni Association member. EvaLyn was a former member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Church, an usher at St. Peter, and current member of St. Thomas the Apostle. She enjoyed walking, swimming, working on puzzles and spending time with family.
