He was the husband of the late Sari Ayoub Brooks. John served in the United States Air Force and was a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War. He was a retired foreman with US Steel, National Tube. Mr. Brooks was an entrepreneur, he owned John’s Repair Service, dry cleaners, laundromats, and real estate. John was a member of Renzie Park Seniors and Life Span of Olympia Shopping Center.
