Russin, age 65 of Port Vue, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.  Born September 18, 1953 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George and Violet (Lucki) Russin.  An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Versailles, George also retired from his church as a facility manager.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years Susan (Soltesz) Russin; his five children Matthew (Kelsy) Russin of Clairton, Brian (Gabriela) Russin of Columbia, MD, Dana (Aaron) Steffan of Johnstown, OH, Julie Russin of Glen Burnie, MD, and Eric (Amelia) Russin of Pittsburgh; his eight grandchildren; his sisters Fran (Joe) Vislay of East McKeesport and Kathy Russin of North Versailles; and also nieces and nephews.

Connie Misavage, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at Point Pleasant Retirement Community.  She was born October 10, 1929 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Luciano and Clementina (Trovarelli) DiAntonio.  Prior to her retirement, Connie was a draftsman for Westinghouse and was a member of St. Agnes Church.  After retirement, she taught guitar lessons to young adults in North Huntingdon and later moved to Florida in 1981 and was an avid tennis player and belonged to several tennis leagues.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Misavage; brothers, Americo and Gustine DiAntonio.  She is survived by her son, Eric Misavage and his wife, Sylvia; daughters, Lisa Findlay, Susan Misavage and her husband, Robert Jasinski, Kristina Laney and her husband, Bruce; grandchildren, Nicholas Laney, Lauren (Bryan) Worsham, Nathan Findlay, Alex Findlay, Trista Laney, Erin Findlay; and six great-grandchildren.  There will be no visitation.  A memorial mass will be announced at a later date.  Interment will be private.  Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Connie.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com

John R. Kiesel, 92, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018.  He was born February 14, 1926 in Swissvale, a son of the late Joseph and Gertrude K. (Rulley) Kiesel.  Prior to his retirement, John was a bricklayer for US Steel and a veteran of the US Navy, having served during WWII on the USS Denver.  In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Lois J. (Ludwig) Kiesel; and son, John W. Kiesel.  He is survived by his sons, Gary E. Kiesel and Ronald S. Kiesel; daughters, Helen L. Jones and Robin K. Berkow; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received  on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the James W. He was a graduate of Clarion Limestone High School, served in the US Coast Guard, was a cook at various restaurants (mostly in FL), was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church, enjoyed building model cars, and was an auto mechanic.  Visitation will take place from 5 – 8 pm on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at E. Prior to retirement he was employed by the Plum School District as a mechanic and body repairman.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Jordan; and a brother, Thomas Jacob Diemert.  He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Carol Meyer Diemert of Irwin; daughter, Patricia Lynn Vargo (James) also of Irwin; son, William J. Elizabeth "Betty" Olwell, 88, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday October 20, 2018 at Transitions Health Care,  North Huntingdon.  She was born January 14, 1930  in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of the late Raymond and Loretta Huber Gordon.  Betty was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon, North Huntingdon Democrat Club, 500 Bid Card Club, Christian Mothers and the Women at the Moose. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard; son, Richard Jr.; brothers, John, Robert and Raymond Gordon; sisters, Dolores Bradley and Norma Condrin.  She is survived by her sons, Raymond (Susie), Jude (Anna),  Kenneth (Donna), James (Karen); daughter Lorrie Kabana (Al); 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; sisters,  Lorraine McCartan, and Maryann Gordon.

Born on February 23, 1912 in Okruhle, Slovakia, Anna was the daughter of the late Andrej and Maria (Biros) Bosak. Following her marriage in 1930 to Michael John Fabian, Anna immigrated to the United States in 1937 and became a naturalized citizen in 1941.

Anna was a very resourceful homemaker, and her talents reached far beyond the duties of running a home. She helped to physically build the home in which she was living at the time of her death, and, being an avid gardener, grew much of the food that graced her table at mealtime.

She also enjoyed sewing, crafts, and reading, but much to the delight of her family, she was a master cook and baker.

Rosemary was a loving wife to her late husband, John M. Fuga, and a magnificent mother to her six children. She was a member of the Penn’s Woods Senior Association and a devout member of her church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, in North Huntingdon. Rosemary was a gifted storyteller, seamstress and baker who enjoyed sharing all of her talents with her family. She had a way of improving anyone’s day with a simple smile. Rosemary was caring, empathetic, determined and so deeply loved by all. She will be missed dearly.
In addition to her parents and her beloved husband John, Rosemary was preceded in death by her grandson, Scott Colavita; and her brothers, John and Richard Terza. Rosemary is survived by her daughters, Patricia Kinzler (Richard) and Rosemary Rosche (Michael); her sons, John R. (Mary Louise), David W. (Peg), Richard D. Virginia Fay Peters, 90, of Dravosburg, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Southwestern Nursing Home in West Mifflin.  She was born October 3, 1927 in McKeesport to the late William B. and Ethel Hopkins Butler.  Fay was the loving wife of the late William J. Peters.  She is survived by daughter, Carol S. (Gerald) McGrew Sr.; grandchildren, Dawn (Dan) Como of Jefferson Hills, Gerald (Lynn) McGrew Jr. of Dravosburg; great-grandchildren, Mia, Cassidy, Doc, Evan and Connor.  Along with her parents and spouse, Fay was preceded in death by her brother and sister in law, William and Audrey Butler.  Before retiring, she was employed by Sears Roebuck Company and Penn Taft Pharmacy. She was known to everybody as “Grandma Fay”. Fay was a lifelong member and Elder at Amity Presbyterian Church in Dravosburg, a former Auditor for the Boro of Dravosburg, served on Boro Council, and was a Republican Chair Woman.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, duck pin bowling, not only did she enjoy horse & dog racing, she was a member of U.S. Trotting Association and was a Standard Bred horse owner at the Meadows Race Track.  Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 4 – 8 at I. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4TH Street, Dravosburg,  PA   15034.  A memorial service is scheduled at the funeral home on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:00 am followed by interment at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroeville.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Amity Presbyterian Church, 400 Euclid Ave., Dravosburg,  PA  15034.
