James J. Franciscus, Sr., 89, of White Oak, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023. He was born March 11, 1933 in Pittsburgh, and was the son to the late Christopher and Gertrude (Grimm) Franciscus. He was married to the love of his life, the late Johann (Spratt) Franciscus, before she passed away January 23, 2022. James was a Press Driver for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, and a long time member of Sts. Joachim & Anne Parish - St. Michael's. He was the Founder of the South Hills Senior Softball League, 3 different bowling leagues, and loved to play Poker on Thursday nights with the guys.

Christine E. "Chris" Bane, 74, of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023. She was born June 25, 1948 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter to the late Thomas Moran, Sr., and the late Helen (Abram) Moran. Chris was an incredible artist - as a seamstress, a skilled painter, and crafter. Chris had filled her house and many other's houses with beautiful custom murals and crafts through the years. She was an Art Teacher at CCAC and was a member of the River City Church AG in Glassport. She enjoyed traveling and loved the beach, especially Ocean City, Maryland and Ocean City, New Jersey.

Elnor Kathleen Lamont (Clark), 82, of Plum Borough, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023. She was born September 11, 1940 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter to the late Jim and Mary (Davidson) Lamont. Elnor was a loving, caring, stay at home mother & housewife, and as she got older, enjoyed her nights out playing Bingo. She is the long time companion to the late William H. Clark, Jr., who passed away March 26, 2015. Elnor is survived by her son, William Clark of Plum Borough; her sister, MaryAnn (the late Bob) Collins of Maysville, KY; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and long-time companion, she is preceded in death by her sister, Jeannie Lamont. The family would like to extend their greatest thanks and appreciation to her wonderful caregiver, Judy Travis, and the rest of the staff at St. Margaret's Hospital. Scott of Pittsburgh, and the late Deborah L. Lori. Michele graduated from Keystone Oaks High School and worked as a Retail Cashier at the Dollar General in Boston. She loved traveling, fishing, and most of all, she enjoyed the quality time spent with her family. She was the wife to the late Joshua Joseph Malter, who passed away in February 23, 2017. She is survived by her children, Devon A. and Brianna L. Malter; siblings, Heather T. Scott of Pittsburgh, Cindy A. Kathy Louise Stanley, 62, of McKeesport passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023. She was born January 26, 1961 in Wilkinsburg, and was the daughter to the late Albert Obies, Sr., and the late Betty May Hockenbery-Bergman. Kathy was a very giving, loving, and fun mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She was always the neighborhood mom, and her house was always the place to be for the kids to hang out growing up. She loved listening to James Taylor, playing Bingo, going on shopping trips, and passing time by playing games on her phone. She would snack on Milky Way bars and would eat the whole bag if her family would let her. She loved spending time with her whole family the most. Kathy always said she had 6 children, but one of them had 4 legs because her dog, Pickles, was her best friend.

Loretta was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church and was also a member of the Teamster's Local Union. She was also a member of the former St. Pius V Catholic Church in McKeesport. Loretta was a Nurse's Aid at McKeesport Hospital for over 30 years and was a graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 1962.

Frank "Dutch" Bonadio of Elizabeth Township, passed on February 1 at the age of 95. He was Born in Vanderbilt, PA, and was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Pepe) Bonadio. Frank was devoted to his loving wife of 68 years, Lois (Bird) of Jeannette, who passed in 2018. Frank attended Glassport High School and joined the U.S. Navy in 1944 serving on Guam in World War Il then worked 44 years at U.S. Steel at Irvin Works and Southside as a computer scheduler. He was a former member of the Elizabeth Twp. Seniors, Glassport CMO and attended St. Joachim and Ann (St. Michael's Church) in Elizabeth Twp. He worked for Meals on Wheels and the Central Food Bank for many years. He enjoyed traveling, working on cars and anything to keep him busy around the house and helping everyone who needed advice or something fixed.

John Trovato, 64, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2022, with his wife of 35 years, Pat, by his side. He was born August 30, 1958, in Wilkinsburg to the late Salvatore Daniel Trovato, Sr., and the late Leona Catherine (Kropczynski) Trovato. "Handyman John", as he was known to many, was there to help whenever a friend or family member called. On the weekends you could find him fishing, putzing around the house, or wearing his favorite Crimson Tide Red or Steelers Black and Gold. His jokes were legendary, and often inappropriate, but he didn't care as long as you were laughing. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. John served in the US Army and spent his career in the auto industry as a mechanic and claims administrator; making friends while living in Baltimore, Atlanta, and (his favorite) Helena, Alabama where he loved the heat and race day at Talladega. John was a 1976 graduate of Norwin High School and was also a graduate of the Westmoreland County Technical School.

Norma J. Lawton Jones, 82, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023 at McKeesport Hospital. She was born November 25, 1940 in Industry, PA to the late Henry Ludwick, Sr., and the late Anna (Gramlich) Ludwick. She was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward School District. After 27 years of service in various positions at McKeesport Hospital, she retired and worked as a cashier for the Shop 'n Save in Rostraver. Norma enjoyed her trips to the casinos with her cousin/friend/sister, Margaret Ann Cant, of Versailles, but her greatest memories that she treasured was time well spent with family; especially her grandchildren.

Gary Robert Andres, Sr., 72, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born July 1, 1950 in McKeesport and was the son to the late Andrew George and Lulu Mae (Terry) Andres. Gary worked for various HVAC Companies as a technician and installer, but also had his own business on the side as a Tractor Mechanic for many people around the area. He shared a hunting camp with his brothers and spent a lot of time hunting and fishing. He enjoyed taking rides on his motorcycles, and as he got older, he became a real good classic car enthusiast. Cruising around town or refurbishing old classics, he was always on the hunt for different makes & models to fix.

He was born August 17, 1949 in Crotone, Italy and was the son of the late Francesco and Elisabetta (Ierardi) Mannarino. John was a member of Saint Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church, McKeesport. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan and had previously coached soccer at East Allegheny High School. John had worked numerous jobs throughout his life, including a concrete laborer and in stock at Giant Eagle in White Oak. He will be greatly missed.
