William Richard Brown , 92, of Elizabeth Township, passed away at home on Friday, August 16, 2019. He was born February 7, 1927 in Elizabeth and was the son of the late Homer R. and Marjorie (Thompson) Brown. He was the husband of the late Vera (Meyers) Brown who passed away October 17, 2012. They were married for 63 years. He was a member of the Elizabeth United Methodist Church and was a WWII US Navy Veteran. William was a retired Teacher and Counselor at North Irwin and Bethel Park School Districts.

She was born October 6, 1964 in Gratztown and was the daughter of Richard Matthews of Sutersville and the late Doris (Woods) Matthews. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ronald Lee Keefer, Jr., sons, Ronald Lee Keefer III, of West Newton,, Richard (Daenne) Keefer of Collinsburg, and John (Christine) Keefer of North Huntingdon, grandchildren, Lillian, Addie, Ridley, and Aubree, brothers, Vincent (Marcie) Matthews of Sutersville and James (Bonnie) Matthews of Cowensburg, and nieces and nephews. Irene Teresa Consales, 91, of White Oak, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2019. She was born May 20, 1928 in Versailles and was the daughter of the late George and Anna Korodi Lukas. Irene worked as a librarian for Westinghouse Energy Center and was a former member of St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak. She loved to play scrabble, was excellent with words, and loved Reader's Digest. Irene was also an excellent cook and she was known for her cheesecake, which was the pride and joy of every party, but most importantly she loved her children and her grandchildren.

The Rev. Gordon Peers Ray, 77, of White Oak, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. He was born June 21, 1942 in Rockford, IL, and was the son of the late Peers Foster and Mary Elizabeth (Stocking) Ray. He was a 1960 graduate of East Rockford High School, 1964 University of Dubuque, IA, 1968 Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, and was ordained in 1968 by the Illinois Synod of the LCA. In 1968, he began his ministry serving Gloria DCI Mission in Hagerstown, IN, followed by Leetsdale Wall Rose Parish in Leetsdale, St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Monessen, House of Prayer Lutheran church in Aliquippa, St. John Lutheran church, Carnegie, and Faith Lutheran Church in White Oak where he retired from in 2007.
