Cindy Lou Platania 57, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was born August 6, 1960 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Richard Lee and Patricia Louise (Zeiler) Korieth. Cindy was a member of Merritt Primitive Methodist Church in Buena Vista. She was Paralegal and a graduate of Point Park University. She is survived by her daughters, Desiree Mihalic (Todd) Corbett of North Versailles and Erica Thorniley of North Huntingdon, sons, Eric Lee Bowles and Joseph John Platania of Elizabeth Township, brother, Richard (Leslie) Korieth and niece, Miranda Korieth of Buena Vista, grandchildren, Ronnie, Breana, Brody, Conner, and Eric Jr., and a great-grandson, Tristan.

Jason Scott Mollard, 48, of McKeesport, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018. He was born October 11, 1969 in McKeesport and was the son of Merry Ellen (Ward) Sipe of McKeesport. Jason was a welder for Holtec International in Turtle Creek. He had previously worked at Ziebart Tidy Car and Value Auto Service in McKeesport. Jason loved fishing, golf, woodworking, Play Station and watching Sci-Fi movies. He also enjoyed quad and dirt bike riding and spending time at the family cabin in Maryland. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kimberly A. (Ursta) Mollard. daughter, Kayla Marie (Frederick Ashbaugh) Mollard and son, Jeremy James Mollard of McKeesport, grandchildren, Kaydence Marie and Isabella Marie Ashbaugh and Anthony James Hornfeck, brother, Thomas D. Leonard Joseph Lukowski, 87, of Elizabeth Township, died Thursday, June 7, 2018. He was born August 29, 1930 in Uniontown and was the son of the late Stanley and Josephine (Kania) Lukowski. Leonard was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenock and was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was retired from Don's Appliance and was a life member of the Greenock Volunteer Fire Co. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean (Mains) Lukowski, daughter, Cheryl A. Arnold V. Plum, 90, of Elizabeth Township, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018. He was born February 16, 1928 in Versailles and was the son of the late Nicholas and Esther (Johnson) Plum. A life long resident of the McKeesport area, Arnold graduated from McKeesport High School and Muskingum College and then earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Prior to attending college, Arnold served as a Corporal in the US Army at the end of WWII. He later practiced law for 59 years, the last 30 of those years proudly with his daughter, Linda C. Plum. Arnold was a career member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, and was inducted as a Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. He served as chair of the Municipal and School Solicitors and Public Relations Committee, as well as a member of the Probate and Trust Law Section, Lawyers Insurance Committee and Arbitrator Fee Dispute Committee, all of the Allegheny County Bar Association.

James "Jim" Harry Taylor, 75, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 peacefully in his home surrounded by family. He was born October 3, 1942 in Sutersville and was the son of the late James Howard and Martha Jane (Ellenberger) Taylor. He was the husband of the late Carol Ann (Yocum) Taylor who died August 25, 2013. They were married for 46 years. Jim was retired from the former G.C. Murphy Co. Warehouse in Christy Park and was a former Constable in Elizabeth Township for 12 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 249 where he served as shop steward and was a member of the 1973 negotiating committee. He was also a member of the former Industry Volunteer Fire Co. Jim was elected to serve 2 terms as Allegheny County Democratic Committeeman representing Elizabeth Township's 3rd Ward. He is survived by his sons, Daniel (Samantha) Taylor and Scott (Jill) Taylor of Elizabeth Township and Douglas Taylor of Laurel, MD, grandchildren, Jacqueline, Lauren, Nicholas, Jacob, Brooke, and Zachary, brothers, Grover (Faith) Taylor of Charleroi, and Fred (Kathy) Taylor of Elizabeth Township, sisters, Shirley (Bill) Slagy and Lydia Taylor of Elizabeth Township, nieces and nephews.

She was Past Matron of Old Glory Chapter 270, Past Mother Advisor of Old Glory 139 and Elizabeth Assembly 120 of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls. She was an avid Pirates fan, loved to cook especially for friends and loved to crochet. She is survived by her three children and their families, nieces, nephews, and cousins. June Baylie, long-time resident of Monroeville, passed away at home on May 28, 2018. June was born and raised in Gloucester New Jersey. She was salutatorian of the Gloucester High School Class of 1948, and attended Trenton State Teacher's College. She married Neil Baylie in the fall of 1956. June and her husband Neil moved to Monroeville in the summer of 1966 with their four children. June was a working mother, raising the children and assisting in the family business in sales and accounting. She was active in competitive swimming, officiating at local and area-wide swim meets. An advocate for reading and education, in her later years she volunteered at the welcome desk at the public library. She loved the outdoors, and was an experienced skier on both snow and water. She is survived by her husband, Neil Baylie, her daughters, Cheryl Baylie and Amy Haass, three grandchildren, Lisa Szekely, Stacey Baylie, and Michael Baylie, and her great-granddaughter Allyson Baylie.

She was born August 13, 1942 in McKeesport, PA and was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Helen B. (Romanek) Mikrut. Dorothy was a registered nurse and retired from Jefferson Hospital. Most recently, she worked with her husband in their music business. She was a member of St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon and was also a member of Braddock Hospital Alumni Association. She loved gardening, scrap booking, cooking, and relaxing at the beach. Her true love was spending time with her family and spoiling her three grandchildren. She was also an avid Penguins hockey fan. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Albert J. "Al" Zych; son Richard J. Zych of Phoenix, AZ; daughters Lori L. (David) Duvall of Neptune Beach, FL, and Debi L. (Brett) Dennis of Williamsport, MD; grandchildren Brandon Dennis, Bradley Dennis, and Jacob Duvall; sister Linda (Ron) Sherer of North Huntingdon, as well as many special nieces and nephews.
