THERESE S. ISADORE, age 91 of Delmont, PA, formerly of Duquesne on December 8, 2018. She was a daughter of the late Jacob and Henrietta (Ruhe) Denne. Therese was a self employed aesthetician. Wife of the late Raymond Isadore; mother of Raymond B. (Margaret) Isadore of Shaler Twp. and Dennis J. (Elisa) Isadore of Delmont; also eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; sister of Leo (Pauline) Denne, Grace (late Charles) Mosser, Regis (Toni) Denne and the late William (late Ada) Denne. Richard C. Davies age 97, of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully in his home on November  4, 2018 with his wife by his side. Beloved husband of 10 years on November 8, 2018 Mary Jane (Tarabek) Beresnyak Davies; loving father of Mary Patricia Anne (Anthony) Boddy; grandfather of Mandy & Steven (Nicole) Boddy; great-grandfather of Zachary & Amelie Boddy & step great grandson Marcus Boddy; stepfather of Roseanne (James) Gordon of West Mifflin, Susan (James) Fiordeliso of Philadelphia, Amy (Dr. Robert) Nassif of Adams twp., Frank (Josephine) Beresnyak Jr. of North Huntingdon. Step grandfather of 8: Jane & Evan Fiordeliso, Olivia & Julia Nassif, Anna, Bella, & Gabby Beresnyak, and Matt (Molly) Gordon.Richard was born in London, England on April 19, 1921 to the late Leonard and Edith Mary (Dunsidon) Davies. He was a housing official for the local government in England. In 1940, at the age of 20 years, he volunteered into the Royal Air Force. In 1942, he trained as a wireless operator and in 1943 was trained as an air gunner to get his wings and sergeant stripes. In March of 1943, he was a radio flying instructor. In January of 1945, he was in operation training in Wellingtons Bomber. In June of 1945, he flew with the 135 Squadron Lancaster and flew a total of 1000 hours. In 1946, he was demobilized with the rank of warrant officer. He was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish. He attained celebrity status since coming to the United States being recognized in stores and in public.Visitation on Wednesday November 7, 2018  2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home, Inc., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday November 8, 2018 at 930 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name Church of Christ the Light of the World Parish at 10 am, Rev. WILLIAM S. KERR age 61, of West Mifflin, on October 26, 2018. He was a son of the late William and Mary (Sawko) Kerr. Bill was an accountant for the Internal Revenue Service, a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, he loved his family and spending time with all his nieces and nephews. Bill was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and an astute hockey fan. He also enjoyed music. He was the brother of Patrick (Marilyn) Kerr, Sr., of Finleyville and the late Thomas Kerr; uncle of Robyn (Justin) Cseripko, Patrick Kerr, Jr., and Thomas (Allison) Kerr; also many greatnieces and great-nephews and cousins.

DAVID R. PETERSON age 69, of West Mifflin, suddenly on October 21, 2018. Beloved husband of 49 years to Janet (Matis) Peterson; loving father of Hope Peterson of West Mifflin, Linsey (Eric) Havel of Bellevue, and Timothy Peterson of Duquesne; brother of Christine Peterson of West Mifflin, Eric (Denise) Peterson of West Mifflin, and the late Jenny Cabray; loving grandfather of Emma, Zachary, Derek, Peyton, Hannah, Lucas, and Claire. Dave proudly served in the US Navy from 1967-1971. Dave was a proud life member of the American Legion, former board member of Post 712, Pleasant Hills, and active member of Post 760, Bethel, and a life member of the NRA. Dave was passionate about riding motorcycles and cheering for the Steelers. He was captain of the Syria Shrine Patrol 2006, and a past master of the Jappa Lodge #714.

Anna Bosak Fabian

Anna Bosak Fabian, long-time resident of West Mifflin, PA, and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, passed away on October 8, 2018 at age 106.

Born on February 23, 1912 in Okruhle, Slovakia, Anna was the daughter of the late Andrej and Maria (Biros) Bosak. Following her marriage in 1930 to Michael John Fabian, Anna immigrated to the United States in 1937 and became a naturalized citizen in 1941.

Anna was a very resourceful homemaker, and her talents reached far beyond the duties of running a home. She helped to physically build the home in which she was living at the time of her death, and, being an avid gardener, grew much of the food that graced her table at mealtime.

She also enjoyed sewing, crafts, and reading, but much to the delight of her family, she was a master cook and baker.

She was a retired registered nurse and enjoyed board games, cards, and greenery plants. Eleanor proudly served her country in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War. STEPHEN A. “JUNIOR” HORVATH age 70, of West Mifflin, on August 28, 2018. He was the son of the late Steve A. and Regina (Wrzesniewski) Horvath. Junior was retired from Whemco as an electrician and formerly worked at US Steel, Duquesne Works. He was also a life member of the West Mifflin #2 Duquesne annex volunteer fire department with 48 years service, he had served as the assistant chief. Junior was a proud Vietnam War veteran serving in the Army. Beloved husband of 45 years to Nancy (Hathaway) Horvath; brother of Jeanette (Donald) Liskay of Moon Twp. And the late Robert “Fuzz” Horvath, Mary Ann Horvath, and the late Christian Horvath; uncle of Ian (Alyssa) Liskay and Zac Liskay; great-uncle of Paige Liskay. Survived by his aunts, Dorothy Illes and Clara Gougler; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was always tinkering and fixing things, especially cars, and proudly served his country in the Army in WWII in the first armored division, 81st recon division. Beloved husband of 59 years to the late Irene (Orenyak) Hamrock; survived by sons, Wayne (Lora) Hamrock, of Huron, OH and David (Sandie Reeber) Hamrock, of Gibsonia; and former daughter-in-law Gail; grandfather of Michael Hamrock, Angela and Ashley Hamrock; all his brothers and sisters are deceased.

Marion M. Rosko age 78 of Atlanta GA, formerly of Duquesne, on August 2, 2018. Marion enjoyed gardening, cooking, English History, and being with friends and family. She was a second mom to many people and was always ready with a casserole or a pot of soup to take to someone in need. She never met a stranger and had many friends of all ages. She was a beloved wife and mother. Wife of the late George Rosko; mother of Richard (Amy) Rosko of Monroe, GA and Renee Rosko of Atlanta, GA; sister of the late Michael (surviving spouse Julie) Tusay of West Mifflin, and the late Wilma Condioto, and the late Arthur Tusay; also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews.
