Joann T Edder, 69, died April 13, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Edder. She is the daughter of the late Nick and Rose (Salopec) Marcic. She is survived by her daughter Valerie (Matthew) Mayo; son Lewis (Lucy) Edder; and sisters Mary Ann Mozes, Marie Vukelja, Antoinette Cisar, and Cathy Bercik. She was preceded in death by her sister Bernice Lia. Joann was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish. Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquense Tue. from 2-8pm. Josephine A. Traud, 83 of West Mifflin, died March 31, 2018. She is the wife of the late Bernard J. Traud.  She is survived by her children Kenneth Traud, Bernard Traud, Theresa Metosky, Kim Wilson, William Traud and Randy Traud;  grandchildren  Nick, Chris, Josh, Crystal, Laura, Susie, Tiffany, Daniel and Michael and 12 great grandchildren.   She was prededed in death by a son Paul and granddaughter Kimmie.  Joy was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Duquesne.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Mon. 2-4 and 6-8.  A funeral service will be held Tues. 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Jim Condron.  Interment following Jefferson Memorial Park.

Karl E. "Sonny" Haney, 86, of West Mifflin, died March 2, 2018. He is the son of the late Karl and Bertha (Evans) Haney.  Karl is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Madeline (Shidel) Haney; children Karl (Jillian) Haney, Kathleen (the late Nicholas) Bracco, Patti Walendziewicz and Marcia (Chris) Rogers; grandchildren Anthony (Tanaz), Joseph and Leeanne Bracco, Andrew, Erin and Danielle Walendziewicz; Kaitlyn Haney; Samantha and Nicholas Rogers; great grandchildren Gabriella, Isabella, Adalina, Hannah, Kasey, Aiden and Elijah.  Karl was retired from Keystone Auto Parts in Christy Park; was  a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish; American Legion Post 701 and served in the US Army Korean War where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant.  He loved spending time with his family and friends, his plants and animals, camping and working with his hands. Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Mon. 6-8 and Tues. 2-8.  A funeral blessing will be held Wed. 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am mass at Holy Name Church with Father Tom Lewandowski.  Interment immediately following at Lebanon Church Cemetery.

Bicsey, 61 of Largo, FL, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Feb. 9, 2018 from cancer.  She is the daughter of the late Edward and Elsie Bicsey.  She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Kruszka of McKeesport, Ex-husband Alan Kruszka of Duquesne, sister Constance Behrns; grandchildren Beth Clark and Shane Clark; also nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister Karen Jones.  Janet was employed by IAS Services in Florida.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Mon. 11 to 1:00 pm at which time a blessing will be held with Father Tom Lewandowski.  Interment following St. Hedwig Cemetery.

Pirhalla, 88 of Duquesne, died Jan. 18, 2018.  She is the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Pirhalla.  Lucille is survived by nieces Deborah Daley and Kathy Sheley and was preceded in death  by her brother Andrew Pirhalla.  A funeral blessing will be held Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 at noon at the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne at Noon with Father Tom Lewandowski.

Mary Ann Stefan, 96, of Duquesne, died Jan. 22, 2018.  She is the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Mykytyn. She is the wife of the late Michael Stefan.  Mary Ann is survived by her son Larry (Cheryl) Stefan of West Mifflin; grandson Clinton Stefan of West Mifflin; and nieces Audrey (Jack) Resnik and Sylvia (John) Ugstandt.  She was preceded in death by her brother Charles Mykytyn, sister Stella Obrosky and grandson Brandon Stefan. Mary Ann was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Thurs. 2-4 and 6-8.  A funeral blessing will be held Fri. at Noon in the funeral home with Father Tom Lewandowski, followed by a 12:30 pm funeral mass at Holy Name Church.  Interment following St. Hedwig Cemetery.

Eva J. Zeleznik, 101 of Duquesne, wife of the late John Zeleznik, died Jan. 8, 2018.  She is the daughter of the late Maximillion and Anna (Purgaric) Wandrey.  She is survived by her daughters Roberta (Michael) Robbe of Export and Patricia (John) Hornyak of Wallingford, CT; grandchildren George (Kathy) and Mark (Nancy) Hornyak; great grandchildren Jack, Julia, Nathan, Bailey and Cole; brother-in-law G. Richard Misenhelter; also many nieces and nephews.  Eva was preceded in death by her brother Robert (Mary) Wandrey; brother-in-laws Michael (Irene) Zeleznik, Myles (Elsie) Zeleznik and Albert "Timmy" Zeleznik; sister-in-laws Marie Janesko and Lydia Misenhelter.  Eva was a very active member of St. John Mark Lutheran Church in Homestead; was a Girl Scout leader for over 20 years; was a member of both the Duquense and Allegheny County Women's Club, where she was an active volunteer for Operation Smile. In her youth, Eva was an avid tennis player, belonging to a church league, consisting of 5 teams, of which she was the only female.  She had many hobbies, including hat making, sewing, knitting, crocheting and golf, but her passion was cards.  She belonged to several card clubs and played every chance she got.  A memorial service will be held Feb. 3, 2018 at St. John Mark Lutheran Church at 2:00 pm.  Funeral arrangements by Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church in Eva's memory.

Minnie V. Lepako, 93, of McKeesport died Friday January 5, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Vera (Pompinella) Shranatan. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony S. Lepako. She is survived by her son Anthony J. Lepako of McKeesport; sisters Vera (Snooky) Plunko of Elizabeth Township and Jessie Butler of North Versailles-South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews. Minnie was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne. Friends received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 at the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, a blessing will be held at the funeral home Saturday 9:30am followed by a funeral mass with Father Tom Lewandowski at Holy Name Church. Interment following at New St. Joseph Cemetery.

Robin M. Smerkol, 60, of West Mifflin died Saturday November 11, 2017. She was preceded in death by parents Edward and Margaret (Scheller) Fillo. Robin is survived by her husband Samuel Smerkol; sons Samuel (Katie) Smerkol Jr. and John Smerkol; daughter Stacey (Adam) Smerkol; grandchildren Hayden and Jacob; brother David (Sue) Fillo; Lori (Jujie) Fillo; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and her beloved German Shepherd Zena. Robin worked as an adjustments clerk at PNC and was an avid animal lover. Friends received at the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne Saturday at 9am then a funeral mass will be held at Christ the Light of the World Parish at 10am.

ANGELA M. KARAN, 57, of West Mifflin, died Oct. 31, 2017.  She is the daughter of the late Rudolph and Dolores (Wilson) Bellisario. Angela is survived by her daughters Crystal Karan, Danielle Karan, Jessica Ritchie, and Kaylee Ritchie; grandchildren Dylan Kyne, Tallie Stinson, and Taylen Stinson; sister Barbara Butch and brother Rudolph Bellisario. Angela spent much of her life working hard in retail but later pursued a career in massage therapy. She was most passionate about riding her Harley Davidson while soaking up the sun, raising her four daughters, spending time with her grandsons, and making the most of life with her closest friends. Friends will be received at Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home in Duquesne on Saturday, 11/04, from 1-3 PM.

STAMMER, 94, of West Mifflin, died Oct. 9, 2017.  She is the daughter of the late John and Sadie Anderson.  She is the wife of the late Russell Stammer.  Hazel is survived by her children Claudia Stammer, Gwen Kovalsky, Chris Stammer, Russell Stammer and William Stammer.  Hazel was a retired nurse for McKeesport Hosptial and former member of the First United Methodist Church in Duquesne. ROBERT TORBIC, 81, formerly of West Mifflin, died Sept. 24, 2017.  He is the son of the late Jovan and Luba (Mazinia) Torbic.  He is survived by daughters Lisa Cherish, Andrea (Ken) Rudek and son Mark Jovan (Gina) Torbic; grandchildren Nick (Kristen) Cherish, Marko and Gabe Rudek; great granddaughter Sloane Cherish; sister Martha Zidkovich. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers Myles, Nick and George and sister Bertha L. Forrest.  Robert was the President and Chief Operating Officer of APASCO, Inc. in West Mifflin; served in the US Army and was a member of St. Sava's Serbian Orthodox Church.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Tues. 2-4 and 6-8.  A funeral service will be held on Wed. at Noon at St. Sava's Serbian Orthodox Church with the Very Rev. Robert Jones, 87, of West Mifflin died Sept. 22, 2017 at Cranberry Place. Born July 11, 1930 in Duquesne, the son of the late Robert and Hazel (Ring) Jones. He is the husband of the late Margaret (Lash) Jones. Bob is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Richard) Corrins; grandchildren Mellisa (Tony) Ross, Jessie Corrins and Greg (Krystina) Corrins; and great grandchildren Nathan, Lilly and Sophia Ross. He was preceded in death by sisters Mildred, Hazel and Thora and brother W. Herbert Jones. Bob was retired from US Steel Duquesne Works and was a member of the West Mifflin Community Baptist Church. Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home Sunday 2 to 8. A funeral service will be held Mon 11 am in the funeral home. Interment following a Jefferson Memorial Park
