Anna Mae Gioia, 94, of Lincoln Boro, passed away Thursday April 1, 2021 at home. She was born June 5, 1926 on the family farm in Elizabeth Township, and was the daughter of  the late Clyde and Arelia Billick. She was the wife of the late Nicholas (Nick) Gioia. They got married on her 21st birthday and were married for 41 years. Anna was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick Church, and also a member of the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens. She worked for White Star Laundry and J & L Mill in Christy Park. She was a long time employee of McKeesport Hospital as a Messenger Escort and was a Union Steward for Local 205. Anna Mae was best known for her love of her trips to the casino and baking, especially Easter Bread and Pizzelles.

Stephen Hugh Darrah, age 72, of North Versailles died on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. He was born in Pittsburgh on June 27, 1948 and is the son of the late Robert and Mary Alice Martin Darrah. He served in the United States Army. Stephen graduated from the University of Georgia in Communications and was employed as an electronic technician. He was a fireman/paramedic for Sunset Volunteer Firehall in North Versailles and loved animals.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Bostard Darrah of Homestead; daughters, Trisha Darrah of Homestead and Amy Good of McKeesport; brother, Paul Darrah of McKeesport; grandsons, Noah Coppola and Sebastian Darrah both of Homestead. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Darrah.

Dennis J. Malos, 90, of Port Vue, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at home. He was born March 10, 1931 in Port Vue and was the son of the late John and Margaret Malos of White Oak.  Dennis was self-employed in the trucking business for many years and was a member of the Teamsters Union No. 249. He was a US ARMY Veteran and also worked security for US Steel. He was a lover of nature and enjoyed hunting with his friends. In his retirement, he enjoyed playing tennis with his wife and Renzie pals.

Timothy Edwin Mays, age 70 of McKeesport, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center.  Born November 12, 1950 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Edwin and Mildred (Cummins) Mays. He worked as a self employed hauler and demolition man, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was a member of Park Baptist Church in Versailles.  Timothy was preceded in death by his wife Mary E. (Ainsworth) Mays, who passed away July 8, 2011. He is survived by his son Raymond (Jamie) Mays of Glassport; grandchildren Michael, Katelyn, Cameron, Shane & Madison Mays and Brittney Richie; great-grandson Jeremiah Richie; sisters Deborah (Roger) Trimpey of Buena Vista, Linda (Joe) Trumbauer of Allentown, Roberta (George Oatman) Mays of Greenock, and Lori King of Buena Vista; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his son Frank Mays.

Zackaryasz, 91, of Glassport was called home to the Lord on March 28, 2021.  She is the daughter of the late  Samuel and Corrine (Framiglio) Semow and beloved wife of the late Leo "Zack" Zackaryasz.  She is survived by her son Robert Zackaryasz and grandsons Lee and Cory Zackaryasz.  She was preceded in death by her brother Phillip Semow and sister Mary Baker.  Philomena was a member of St. Mark's Parish.  Friends will be received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glasspsort on Thurs. from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.  A service will be held at 11:30 am at the Jefferson Memorial Park Mausoleum

Prior to her retirement she was employed as a secretary for the Norwin High School Guidance Department with over 20 years of service. She loved working with the students and cherished her time with the guidance crew. Cece enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting, orchestra and Norwin Band events. She was a member of the card club of Roberta Drive, and was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan.

G. Scott McIntosh, 73, of Jeannette, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. He was born February 6, 1948 in Brownsville, Pa., a son of the late Gilbert and Doreen (Sams) McIntosh. Prior to his retirement, Scott was a self-employed mechanic and enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting skeet and clay pigeons. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed their trips to Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beth (Borgo) McIntosh. He is survived by his son, Scott McIntosh; daughter, Cristle Lobaugh and her husband, Gary; sister, Bonnie (Charles) Davenport; and grandson, Jack. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA. Elizabeth “Betty” Robbins 92, of White Oak, formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday March 28, 2021.  Betty was born October 19, 1928 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Stefan and Stella (Damaski) Kozlowski. She was the wife of her beloved husband, the late William "Billy" Robbins. Betty was a remarkable woman.  She worked for 26 years at the City of Pittsburgh Office of Personnel and after retiring from that position moved on to work for 8 years at the Federal Jury office becoming the Jury Supervisor, she got her driver’s license at the age of 40 and also obtained her GED at age 40...”just because”.

Lois was born in McKeesport, PA, on October 14,1927, the daughter of Harvey M Churchman and Bessie Hannah Dom Churchman. 

Lois was deeply committed to her large and loving family. She was a woman of great faith in Jesus Christ. Praise, worship and church were very important to her and her family who often spent time together singing and talking about their faith. She was a joy to all who were part of her life, often offering to pray for or with anyone in need.

Lois Whitney Servov Clark, 86, of Ocean Springs, Miss., passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021.

She was born on June 29, 1934 in McKeesport, PA to Bill and Dorothy Whitney. She attended St. Peter’s High School in McKeesport, PA. Lois’ life work was most notably taking care of her children and grandchildren, but the family enjoyed listening to her stories about her employment for the city of McKeesport, PA and her time at Glass Motors in Gulfport, MS. She dearly loved spending time with her family, spending time outdoors, and endlessly watching Shirley Temple movies.

She is survived by her daughter, Daryle Servov; grandchildren, Kara and Brady Davis, Jenna and Jason Carroll, Jarred and Haley Seymour, Kelsey and Matthew Brown; great-grandchildren, Whitney and Amelia Davis, Jaycee and Jules Carroll, Casen, Camille, Violet, and Jameson Seymour, and McCully and Eleanor Brown; and sister, Dorothy Mae Holtzman.
