David “Magoo” Magroski, age 55 of McKeesport, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at his home.Born August 18, 1961 in McKeesport, he was the son of Edward F. Magroski and the late Naomi (Weir) Magroski, and loving husband of the late Clara (Poster) Magroski. David was a dedicated carpenter for the construction industry, where he worked for 26 years for his loyal friend, Keith Reigh with Reigh Construction in White Oak.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, a graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing and a member of the GFWC Women’s Club of Duquesne. She was a former member of the former West Mifflin Annex Senior Citizens. Beloved wife of the late George A. Tomko; mother of Georgiana (late Larry) Achen of Auburn, CA, Jan Michael (Diane) Tomko of Somerset; grandmother of Jill (Michael) Rugg, Jaime (Kevin) O’Malley, Julie (Brian) Skidmore and Joy (Paul) Whiteside; also five great- grandchildren, Cassandra Sanzi, Caden O’Malley, Emert Rugg, Josie O’Malley, Matthew Whiteside. June D. Kastronis, 70, of McKeesport, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at UPMC Shadyside. Born July 28, 1946, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Walter and June (Ravenscroft) Forsythe, and the wife of Christopher T. Kastronis, of McKeesport. June worked as a hair dresser in the West Mifflin area until retirement. She was a member of the White Oak American Legion Post 701, Punxsutawney Eagles, Moose Lodge 954 and the Wallston Club in Punxsutawney. She had a passion for going fishing and will always be remembered by her family as the best cook ever. June especially loved her grandchildren and will always be watching over their activities and events. In addition to her husband, June is survived by children, Christopher T. (Amy) Kastronis Jr., of North Huntingdon, Daniel (Melissa) Kastronis, of Elizabeth, and Jarett Kastronis, of McKeesport; grandchildren, Genna, Conan and Chloe; sister, Marjorie (Tex) McIntyre, of Carnegie; brother, Richard Forsythe, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Walter, Mabel and her twin, James Forsythe. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, and from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY. Richard “Ricky” L. Clark Sr., 69, of Elizabeth, formerly of McKeesport, passed away at home on Sunday February 19, 2017. He was born August 21, 1947 in Belle Air, Ohio to the late John R. and Pearl Pugh Clark. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Bonita Burke Clark; son, Richard L. (Amy Kilburn) Clark, Jr. of Elizabeth; daughters, Lynn Ann Clark of McKeesport, Wendy (Casey) VanSchooten of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Patricia, Christina, David, Kelsey & Karlee; great-grandchildren, Aiden & Addilyn; sisters, Bernita Clark of Belle Vernon and Shelva Clark of Elizabeth; aunt Peggy Wall of Forward Township. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dave, Tom, and John Clark. Richard enjoyed cars, working with wood, playing cards and model cars. Albert “Al” Torok, Jr., 72, of Smithton, Pennsylvania, died at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Oakland surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, February 17, 2017. He was born on May 31, 1944, in Versailles, Pennsylvania, one of 8 children of Albert Torok, Sr., and Dorothy (Hixon) Torok. He retired from the Elizabeth Forward School District and the Youghiogheny Country Club in Elizabeth Township. He was a US Navy Veteran, having served in Cuba during the Vietnam War. He was an officer and member of the American Legion Post 790 in Smithton. Al is survived by 2 children, sons, Kevin A. Torok of Smithton and Keith A. Frank L. Szczerba, Sr., age 86, of Elizabeth, died February 18, 2017, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born June 26, 1930, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Lawrence J. and Aniela (Majkut) Szczerba. Frank was a retired self-employed excavator and in his early years he was owner operator of Mon-Yough Paving Co. He was a member of Corpus Christi Church. Frank enjoyed hunting and Pittsburgh Steelers football. Frank’s true passion was working the fields of his family farm and he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by children, Frank L. (Thoris) Szczerba, Jr. of Belle Vernon, George C. (Barbara) Szczerba of Belle Vernon, Lory (James) Worthington of Belle Vernon, Gary J. (Lisa) Szczerba of Sutersville and Karen (Raymond) Ott of Belle Vernon; step-children, Jake (Deborah) Warren of Mt. Lebanon and Judy Mann of Dublin, VA; 11 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
