Joseph Borrelli, 98, Life-long resident of Glassport, passed away on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born September 26th, 1920 to the late Nicolangelo and Giulia Borrelli. Joseph was the loving husband of the late Sally Sulesky. He is survived by his daughter Mary Ann (Joe) Maher of Endicott, N.Y., grandchildren: Eric (Michelle) Maher of Endicott N.Y., Beth (Tim) Fives of York, Pa., and Patrick (Shivani) Maher of Santa Barbara, California. Great-grandchildren: Julia, Ethan, Natalie, Kathryn and Joshua, and many nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers, Louis (Stella), Anthony (Marie), Vincent (Susie), and Nick (Marilyn), and sister Mary (Duane) Molinaro. Joe served in the Navy in the Caribbean during World War II, as a Radio Operator for the Air Control Tower. He was also previously employed at P&LE Railroad, Peoples Gas company, and owned Borrelli’s Café for 32 years in Glassport. He was a member of the Glassport American Legion, Sons of Italy (past president 3 times), and faithful member of the Queen of The Rosary Church. He was a world traveler, and he enjoyed making homemade wines, cooking, and spending time with family and friends at gatherings. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, from 12-6, at: E.C. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at 10 am, at Queen Of The Rosary in Glassport, followed by interment at Saint Mary German Cemetery in McKeesport. Carmella Velina Quattrociocchi “Carm” Cerqua, 92, a life-time resident of Clairton, passed away at Grandview Estates in Elizabeth on Saturday, July 27th, 2019. She was born to the late“James” Quattrociocchi and Jennie (Spinosa) Quattrociochi, in McKeesport on February 7, 1927.  Carm was the loving wife of 60 years to the late Sundae Cerqua. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (James) Shumaker, of Elizabeth, and son, James (Janet) Cerqua, of Clairton, grandchildren; Kristen (Michael) Nehus, of Wylie, TX, Melissa Cerqua, of Clairton and Danielle (Matthew) Jellison, of Elizabeth, and step-grandchildren, Kelli Hill of Cayucos, CA and the late James (Clint) Shumaker of Huntington Beach, CA., great grandchildren; Christina Dececco, Michelle Jellison, A.J. Dececco, Jacob Jellison, Ryan Jellison, and Tyler Jellison and step great-granddaughter Hannah Hill. Carm was preceeded in death by her brother Domenic Quattrociocchi.  She was a graduate of the Clairton High School in 1945. Carm was a previous member of St. Paulinus Church, for which she used to volunteer. She later became a member of St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton. Harold “Archie” Lauterbach

Harold “Archie” Lauterbach, 90, a lifetime resident of Clairton, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Ashbury Heights Nursing Home. He was born in Clairton on March 3, 1929 to the late Peter Joseph and Caroline DeBor Lauterbach. Harold was a well-known figure in the community of Clairton. As a young man he played baseball for United States Steel, Clairton Works. His participation in a “mill team” was a significant part of Pittsburgh history, as noted in an exhibit at the Heinz History Center. He went on to become Facility Manager of Calgon’s packing & shipping facility in the Robinson area of Pittsburgh, a company where he worked for 30 years. Harold drove and helped deliver Meals on Wheels for many years in the Clairton community. Harold volunteered his time at St. Clare of Assisi, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved classical music and the symphony. He is survived by his sister, Doris Mae Manns of Scottdale, nieces and nephews; Michele Bamburak, Eric Manns, Mark Manns, Amy (Joseph) Eichenlaub, Paul (Melissa) Manns, Russ (Colleen) Halt, Beth Mellott, and Carol (Alan) Schriber, Great nieces and nephews; Laura (Josh Warner Burke) Bamburak, Aaron Bamburak, Noah Manns, Savanah Manns, Chloe Eichenlaub, Logan Eichenlaub, Jeremy Halt, Caitlyn Halt, Mikayla Halt, Nathan Mellott, Lily Mellott, Ricky Mellott, Mark Schriber, Leighann Washburns, Great-great nieces and nephews; Quinn Warner Burke, Jake Washburns, and Kaylee Washburns. Archie joins his siblings in everlasting peace and joy; Mary Margaret Lauterbach, Isabel Lauterbach, Helen Halt, and Clifford Lauterbach. Richard “Rich” Craig Pasqualle, 74, of Clairton, Pa. passed away on Friday July 19, 2019. He is survived by his sons; Richard B (Ruth) Pasqualle, of Monesson, Pa., Justin C. Ostrander, of Finelyville, Pa., and daughters; Amber L. (Jeffery) Bushnell of Butler, Pa., Angela (Scott) Benack of Rostraver, Pa.  His brother, Phillip aka Skip (Elaine) Pasqualle, of Waldorf, MD., and sisters, Marcia Wagner, of Mount Pleasant, Pa., Marjorie Pasqualle, of Deerborn,MI and Marian (Gene) Fine, of Prince Georges County, MD.  As well as 7 grandchildren whom he loved. Rich was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward Highschool class of 1961. He spent his early adulthood serving as a United States Marine. He later earned his Associate Degree in Maintenance Engineering at Triangle Tech. Rich enjoyed spending time listening to oldies and soaking up the sun. Walter Everett “Wally” McGee III, 59, of McKeesport, passed away on Monday, July 15th, 2019 at his home. He was born in Mckeesport on May 10th, 1960 to the late Barbara A Csorbaand Walter Everett McGee Jr.Wally is survived by his two sisters; Karen (Regis) Bryer, of Huntersville, NC, and Kimberly (Ken) Zera,of Orange, Va. Heis also survived by his Aunt Betty O’Shell of Pittsburgh and Aunt Janet (Tom) Brady of Boston, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friendsWally was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Andrew Walter McGee. He will be remembered as a "plumber, welder, landscaper, and a jack of all trades", and a man with a heart of gold. Wally’s kind soul will be missed by so many. He had a smilethat made the worst days better, eagerness to help his friends and family, and stories that you couldn’t wait to hear.Wally was always “busy doing nothing” or he“had nowhere to be ASAP”. Elizabeth J. Hough Scott, “Betty”, age 85 of Elizabeth, PA, passed away on June 22, 2019.  Her partner, Charles Huffman, her children, best friend, Joyce Evans, and the OSTPA Hospice group, lovingly cared for her at home through her final week.  She was born in Clairton, PA on August 5, 1933 to the late Henry and Bertha Moore Hough.  She is preceded in death by former husband, Alexander T. Scott, and all her siblings.  She is survived by her partner of 14 years, Charles Huffman of Elizabeth, PA; her three children; Perry Spires (Debbie Snyder), Louise Bagwell-Robinson (Charles Bagwell, MD) both from Richmond, VA, and her son Thomas Henry Scott (Elaine Hubbard) from Columbus, GA, and her son-in-law, James Robinson (Sharon) of Hurricane, WV.  Betty was blessed with four outstanding grand-children; Perry Spires, “PJ” (Melanie) of Mt. Pleasant, Emily Gigliotti (Nathan) of Everson, PA, Amy Robinson Alphin (Thomas) of Seattle, WA, and Laura Robinson of Richmond, VA.  She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; Owen and Lily Spires, Amelia, Olivia, and Julia Gigliotti, James Robinson II, and Henry Alphin.  Betty was one extremely hard-working woman!  She had owned and operated two different businesses – Chili’s Place in Monongahela, and MMM Goodies – Homemade Baked goods.  She enjoyed quilting, sewing, making crafts, and was an AVID Longaberger Basket collector.  She also worked for decades as a cook at Falk School at the University of Pittsburgh.  She loved cooking for the children and repeatedly told stories about them and became very close with many of the families.  Betty taught her family, not only the love for Kennywood Park, where her grandfather used to run the pony track, but also the love of the Pittsburgh Steelers.  She was a season ticket holder for 25 years.  Betty’s family will receive guests at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St., Clairton, PA 15025 at 4:00 on Tuesday, June 25.  A service will follow in their chapel at 5:00.  Inurnment will take place at a later date. Elsie Christine “Tootsie” Germek Cola, 80, a resident of Clairton for 50 years, formerly of Glassport, passed away at home on Monday, June 10th, 2019. She was born in Duquesne on October 12, 1938 to the late John Sr. and Anna Stanko Germek. Elsie was the loving wife of 57 years to the late Gerald John “Coke” Cola, Sr. She is survived by her sons; Gerald (Shari) Cola, of Clairton, Gregory (Michael Garofola) Cola, of McKeesport, brother, Thomas (Sharyon) Germek, of North Huntingdon, as well as many nieces and nephews. Elsie was preceded in death by her brothers; Raymond, John and George Germek. She was a member of the St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton. Elsie enjoyed cooking, baking and playing cards, but will also be remembered for her kindness and humble nature. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. John Michael Seman, 46, of Wilmerding, passed away on Friday, June 7th, 2019 in Worth Township of Butler County. He was born in McKeesport on July 3rd, 1972 to the late Charles Richard Seman and the surviving Rose Marie Teck Seman. John is survived by his son, Corey M. Albeck. Of White Oak, grandchildren; Kayden, Nathaniel, Emma, and Briella, brothers George (Judy) Seman, of Renfrew of, Bill (Marcy) Seman, of West Elizabeth, sisters; Barb Christie, of Slippery Rock and Roxanne Seman of Wilmerding. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chuck Seman II. John formerly served in the US Marine Corps, and was employed as a professional Trucker. John Allen Ferrero, known by many as “Punky”, “Jumping Johnny” or “Fruit”, 63, a life-long resident of Clairton, passed away at home on Wednesday May 29th, 2019. He was born in McKeesport on August 18, 1955 to the late John C Ferrero and the surviving Dolores Tortorice Ferrero of Clairton. He is survived by his daughters; Tiara (Juan Butler) Snyder of McKeesport and Jessica (Skylar Brown) Ferrero of Clairton, grandchildren; Josiah, Kai, Taier, Skylar, Carter and Rylan, brothers; Gary Ferrero of South-side, Pittsburgh and David Ferrero of Clairton and sister Francine Ferrero of Las Vegas, NV. John was preceded in death by his father, John “Punky” Ferrero. John through the years was self-employed. He owned and ran Ferrero’s Beer Distributer in Large, PA, and later in life enjoyed running the Coal Valley Produce stand. He was a man that loved his family, his friends and all of the customers that gave him a reason to be in business over the years. Joan Kemp Beissel

Joan Kemp Beissel passed away on May 7, 2019, at the age of 89. A lifelong resident of Elizabeth Township, she was born January 18, 1930, to the late Thomas and Mary Moore Dierker Kemp. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Donald E. Beissel, her twin sister, Jean Matezik, and her brother, Thomas Kemp. She is survived by her two daughters, Vickee Altman, and her husband Gary, of Uniontown, and Wendee Lindsey and her husband Randy of Elizabeth Township and her three grandchildren, Alan Lindsey, and wife Brittany, of Liberty Boro, Stephanie Altman of Raleigh, NC., and Abigail Altman of Baltimore, MD. 

She graduated from Clairton High School in 1947 and attended the Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing where she obtained her license as a registered nurse. She completed her nursing education with a BSN from California University of Pennsylvania. She worked as a registered nurse at the McKeesport Hospital in the premature infant nursery, but perhaps is best remembered for her many years as a school nurse for the Elizabeth-Forward School District.

She and her husband Don enjoyed retirement by hosting pig roasts for their family and friends at their backyard swimming pool and by traveling throughout North America in their motor home, sometimes even wintering in southern climates. They also traveled to such places as Hawaii, Italy, England, Mexico and the Caribbean. A highlight was sailing through the Panama Canal.

Family and friends will be received at the S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6thStreet, Clairton, PA, 15025, on Friday, May 10, from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM, a short memorial service will be held at 7:30pm with a repose to follow at the LochMon Tavern, 2510 Lincoln Boulevard, Elizabeth, PA., 15037. Marlene Unrath, 86, of Pleasant Hills, passed away at ManorCare Nursing Home on April 30, 2019.  She was born January 16, 1933, to the late Michael and Mary Repko Visokey.  Marlene is survived by her daughter; Lori Ann Bagley of Pleasant Hills, sons; Patrick “Sonny” (Jane Bowen) Unrath of Port Vue, and Darrell (Laurie) Unrath of Forward Township, grandchildren; Dylan (Helen) Unrath, Michael (Ashley) Unrath, Ryan (Sarah) Cunning, Jesse and Willie, great grandchildren; Ryan Jr., and Nathaniel and many nieces and nephews.  Marlene was preceded in death by her husband William P. Unrath Sr. of 61 years, sons; Gregory, Douglas and William Jr. Unrath, and daughter in law, Marcia Unrath.  She was a parishioner of St. Thomas A Becket church, and a nurse anesthetist.  Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 3, 2019, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at S.M. Roxane  Biddle Culley, 101, formerly of New Eagle and West Elizabeth, passed away at Lawson Nursing Home on Friday, April 26, 2019.  She was born October 13, 1917, to the late Lawrence and Bessie Mae Mehrmann Biddle.  Roxane is survived by many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Culley, brothers Lawrence Kermit, Charles Alonzo, and Nathaniel Clayton.  Roxane worked as the head cook in the cafeteria of West Jefferson Hills High School, was a member of the Olivet United Presbyterian Church of West Elizabeth, and active in the Ladies Fellowship Class.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 6pm – 8pm and Thursday 9am – 11am at E.C. Larry Robert Williams, 80, of Elizabeth, passed away at Jefferson Hospital, on Sunday, April 21, 2019.  He was born December 28, 1938, to the late John and Jessie Trumpie Williams.  Larry is survived by his son; Jerry R. (Darlene) Williams of Espyville, Pa., daughter Sheri Williams of Elizabeth, and granddaughter; Jessica Buckery of Elizabeth.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Barca Williams.  Larry was an avid fisherman, he was a member of the Blaine Hill and Elizabeth Fire Department, and the Sportsman Club of Pymatuning Pa.  He also worked for Mesta Machine in Homestead Pa., and Elizabeth Forward School District as a custodian.  The family would like to thank the staff at Jefferson Hospital and all his friends at the fire hall. Mary Adele Nolfi Cipriani, 84, a resident of Glassport, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Riverside Care Center in McKeesport.  She was born on May 28, 1934 to the late Eligio and Adele DelFiugo Nolfi.  She is survived by her loving husband Arthur R. Cipriani Sr.  Also surviving are her children; Arthur R. (Ann) Cipriani Jr. of Jefferson Hills, Michael V. Cipriani of Staten Island N.Y., Elise C. (Kevin) Wright of Glassport, David A. (Suzanne) Cipriani of Bethel Park, and Cherise A. (Cory) Brawner of Bethel Park.  Mary also had nine beautiful grandchildren, Jason, Emily (Brian), Bianca, Michael, Kevin, Catherine, Thomas, Sophia, Scarlett and two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Emmett.  Mary enjoyed gardening, music, and spending time with her family.  She received a full Catholic Scholarship resulting in a BS Biology at Duquesne University.  Also known as “Miss Mary” she was the owner and director of Glassport Play and Learn Nursery school and was a former member of St. Cecelia R.C. Church of Glassport and now Corpus Christi of McKeesport.  Mary was preceded in death by her sisters, Lena Dacquisto, Helen Sovich, brothers, Dr. E.
