Sarah Marshall, 89, daughter of the late Leslie and Mozelia Smith was born on April 6, 1930 in Jefferson Boro, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Marshall passed away peacefully at Riverside Care Center on  March 27, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herbert Marshall, Sr.; sons, Herbert Marshall, Jr., Albert Marshall, Marcel Marshall; grandson, Alexander Marshall; brothers, Lee Smith, Leslie Smith, Russell Smith and sisters Beula Dixon, Elizabeth Fennell, Lillian McCray, and Laura Alford.

Mrs. Sarah attended McKeesport High School. After graduation, she obtained an associate degree from Robert Morris University. For many years, Mrs. Sarah worked as a Beautician. It suited her eye for fashion. She loved flowers. Her true love was for her family.

An Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War and member of American Legion Post 712 in Pleasant Hills, he was a retired sheet metal fabricator for Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 66 in Everett, WA. Born August 19, 1934 in Monroe, he was a son of the late Arnold and Gladys (Quigley) Handley and husband of the late Virginia L. (LaFrankie) Handley. He is survived by his brothers, Paul (Lorraine) Handley and George (Christine) Handley, both of Fayetteville, GA; grandson, Adam Handley of Washington State; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Handley of Washington State; also, nieces and nephews. Valerie A  Marecic Tkocs November 12, 1961 – March 30, 2020 of West Mifflin Peacefully passed away with her family by her side on March 30th at the age of 58. She was the wife of 28 years to Douglas Tkocs. She was a remarkable mother to Kayla, with constant love, care, and support flowing through her.  She was amazing and loving “Juju” to Gianna. She absolutely adored her future son in law, Justin Lutheran. She was the daughter of the late Ruldolph and Evelyn (Sabino) Marecic. She is survived by her siblings Marian Marecic Stephen Marecic Gregory Marecic Joseph (Shelly) Marecic Richard (Jennifer) Marecic Patricia (John) Tour James Marecic preceded in death by the late Michael (surving spouse Robin) Marecic Francis Marecic. She was a second mother and an amazing aunt to many nieces and nephews 
Mika Taira Joey Jessie  Stevie  Frankie Nicolette Mason Paige Marisa  Vinnie Ryan. And great aunt of Jade Gavin Brok Aidan Wyatt Francis.
She dedicated her life advocating and supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities/autism with Rankin Christian Center/Mon Valley Supports as a Senior Supports Coordinator. She touched the hearts of many clients and their families.  Given current circumstances, there will be no funeral service at this time. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions can be sent to Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home 212 Wilmot St., Duquesne PA 15110 for a guardian trust to be made for her granddaughter Gianna Lutheran who was the light of her life.

He belonged to the Elks in Cranberry Twp., and was an avid hunter. He was also a 32nd degree Mason and was celebrated for his 50 years in the Martinsburg Chapter.

Robert Melvin Callahan, age 95 died on March 27, 2020. He was born on May 20, 1924 in New Kensington. He was the son of the late Frank and Edith Ferguson Callahan.

Robert was a Staff Sergeant for the United States Marine Corps. He served his country during WWII. He was stationed on the Admiralty Islands in Papua New Guinea. He fought in the Battle of Mindinao, part of Operation VICTOR V, which was the campaign to liberate the Philippines. He also fought in the Battle of Okinawa, and was later stationed in China where he worked on the return of Japanese prisoners to Japan.

He enjoyed vacationing in Key West, FL, visiting casinos, watching the sports channel with his dogs, sunbathing, and cutting grass on his riding mower.

Dr. Thomas E. Vrabec DDS, 89, passed peacefully from this life to the next on March 30, 2020. He was a longtime resident of Oakland (Pittsburgh) and practiced dentistry there for many years before retiring to Redstone Highlands in N. Huntingdon, PA.
Tom was born in Smock, PA on March 18, 1931 to Thomas and Anna (Turosak) Vrabec. He graduated from Uniontown High School in 1949 and the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Dentistry in 1955. He served in the US Army for three years, then returned to Pittsburgh to open his dental practice. He loved his work and being with people every day.
Tom was an avid sports fan especially of Pittsburgh teams, the Pirates, Penguins, Steelers, and Panthers. He spent many hours watching in the stadiums and on TV. He participated in the sports of golf and bowling. Also he collected sports memorabilia, Marilyn Monroe memorabilia and decorative elephant figures.
He was an active member, officer and President of the Oakland Lions Club. He was a member of St. Paul’s Cathedral Parish.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and by a special person, Ann Harper.
He is survived by a brother, Dr. Donald P. Vrabec (Eleanor) of Danville, PA, and two sisters, (Anna) Eleanor Vrabec of Uniontown, and Judith Radic (George) of Huber Heights, OH, a very special lady, Rose Lee Martin, an aunt Elaine Babbony (Paul) and an uncle Frederick Crall. Also surviving are nieces and nephews: Dr. Tamara Vrabec (Dr. Vincent Baldassano), Dr. Jeffrey Vrabec (Kathy), Dr. Keith Vrabec, Kevin Radic (Katherine), April DeLorenzo (Mark), and Justin Radic (Angela). He will be missed by these, several cousins and many friends.

Ladies Auxiliary, and was a member of the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens. She was a former chaperone for the McKeesport Majorette and Drill Team. She worked at the former Boston Diner for 25 years.

John Ratesic, age 79 of White Oak, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020.  Born August 25, 1940 in Braddock, PA, John was the son of the late John and Bernardine Ratesic, who raised him in McKeesport, PA.  John is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 49 years, Dorothy (Dokmanovich) Ratesic, daughter Dr. Mara Dawn (David) Koetke and granddaughter Alexandra Koetke of New York City and son, Marko (Julie) Ratesic and grandchildren Nicholas, Milena and Luke John Ratesic of Chicago.  Also surviving are his siblings Patrick (Mickey) Ratesic of Norwin, Ann (Ed) Bell of Coulter and Kay (Gerry) Feagles of Canton, Ohio.

John graduated from McKeesport High School in 1958, received a football scholarship and played for the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating in 1962.  He received his Masters Degree and Principal Certification in 1975 from Duquesne University. 

John proudly served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965.  He was a valued member of the undefeated 7th Infantry Football Team in 1963 and was named 1st Team on the All-Army Squad.

George; her sons James M. George of Elizabeth Twp., Steven L. (Diane) George of North Huntingdon, and Keith A. (Irene) George of Oakdale; her grandchildren Steven, Alexa, and Eyan George; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother James Golick.

Ruth Rushe 78, of Glassport, passed away on Saturday March 28, 2020 in her home. She was born in Glassport on August 8, 1941 to the late William Rushe and Agnes Tachoir Rushe. Ruth is survived by her two sisters JoAnne Rushe of Glassport and Agnes Barrett of Glassport, as well as her two brothers Robert (Lori) Rushe of Duquesne, and Ralph Rushe of New Baltimore Michigan. Ruth is also survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews whom she cared for deeply. She was preceded in death by her three brothers Billy, Terry, and Tommy Rushe. Ruth spent her earlier years as an Administrative Clerk at the Credit Union where she could help people with their day to day routines. Ruth was a member of the Queen of The Rosary Catholic Church in Glassport where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Some of her favorite things to do were to bake cakes and candies as well as her many crafts. Private services have been entrusted to E.C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave, Glassport, PA 15045. A private internment will take place at St. Josephs Cemetery in North Versailles. C. Gary Dinsel, 76, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday March 27, 2020 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital as a result of complications from open heart surgery. He was born October 14, 1943 in Altoona, PA, a son of the late Charles A. and Ruth M. (Burger) Dinsel. Gary was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting and was a licensed CPA.

He formerly owned Extrude Hone Corporation, North Huntingdon, and was a partner/owner of Greensburg Country Club. He also had served in the Army Reserves as a field medic for several years. He was a very active member of Circleville United Methodist Church, where he served on the pastoral counsel and finance committee, having been a past chairman of both groups.

He was also a longtime active member and past president of Norwin Rotary, a former board member of the Norwin Area Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Pitt Alumni Association, and a member of the Workforce Investment Board Westmoreland/Fayette County Economic Growth Connection.

Concetta “Connie” (Prestia) Delconte, 94, of Clairton, PA (formerly of Donora, PA) passed away peacefully on March 26, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Reggio di Calabria, Italy on August 9, 1925, beloved daughter of the late Frank Prestia and Filomena (Tarzia) Prestia.  In addition to her parents, Connie’s sister, Rose Prestia Fronzaglio, preceded her in death in 1999.  Older brothers, Domenico and Vincenzo, died at early ages.  Connie was the youngest of her 3 siblings.

For 56 years, Connie was married to James G. “Jimmy/Jim” Delconte of Clairton, PA who preceded her in death on January 9, 2006.  She is survived by her 3 cherished children, son Vince (Bonnie) of Franklin Park, PA; daughter Linda Delconte Kushner (Larry, deceased, February 27, 2019) of Washington, PA; and son John (Susan) of Nashville (Franklin), TN.  She was the proud “Gramma” of Domenic James Delconte, deceased,(September 24, 2002) and Maria (Delconte) Minerd (Mark) of Upper St. Clair, PA; and “Nana” of Anthony Kushner of Washington, PA; Michael Kushner of New York City; and Gianna and Jason Delconte of Nashville (Franklin), TN.  Connie also felt blessed to be the “Great Nana” of Sienna, Vivienne, and Maela Minerd of Upper St. Clair, PA.   Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.  Connie’s eldest nephew, Philip Maffeo (of Clairton, PA), preceded her in death in March, 2014.

Gary was born on June 23, 1962, in McKeesport, PA to Mildred Nails and the late Milton Perkins. He graduated from Clairton High School in 1980. After graduation, he attended Austin Peay State University on a football scholarship. Shortly after going to college, Gary joined the Marine Corps Reserve. He worked as a repair technician for John Hopkins University.

Gary had a passion for learning and teaching African spirituality. He also loved to play the drums for his Pan African Religious organization; Auser Auset. When Gary moved to Washington, D.C. he researched and practiced living a healthy plant-based lifestyle. He specifically studied the African Bio-mineral Balance. Gary was also an avid music and sports lover. Whenever he walked into a room or greeted a family member or friend, he would always say the phrase, “What’s Happening!” He always brought joy and happiness to everyone in his path.

Born January 9, 1928 in Columbia Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Charles Talmage Jordan and Elizabeth Lee Carpenter. She was the wife of the late Falco Anthony Carrozza.  Elizabeth was a 1949 graduate of USM (University of Southern Mississippi) Hattiesburg, Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree and Certificate in Home Economics and Science. Before her retirement, she was a teacher at West Newton High School in 1951, Port Vue Junior High School from 1951-1956, and McKeesport School District from 1968-1992.  She was a longtime member of both McKeesport College Club and the Home Gardener‘s Guild, where she previously served as President for both organizations. McKeesport College Club recently honored her by awarding her emeritus standing for her dedicated service to the club throughout her sixty-five years as a member. She was a founding member of Christ United Methodist Church, North Huntingdon, where she was an active member of the Methodist Women’s Society, Happy Hearts Senior Group, and in the early years of the church she taught Sunday School. Also she was a Meals on Wheels volunteer driver delivering meals until she was 89 years old.

Ronald Joseph Pastor, 84, of Penn Township, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 23, 2020 after a long illness.  He was born January 1, 1936 in McKeesport, a son of the late John and Anna (Dzama) Pastor.  Prior to his retirement, Ronald was a quality control inspector for the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory for 42 years where he worked on the reactor for the first nuclear submarine, the USS NAUTILUS.  He was a member of St. Agnes Parish, loved spending time with his family and was an avid Steelers fan.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at his hunting camp in Tionesta, woodworking, golfing, and bowling.  He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mildred J. Born August 8, 1952 in McKeesport, he was the son of John Watazychyn, formerly of Clairton, and the late Elizabeth “Betty” (Martis) Watazychyn.  David married Alberta M. Pezel on September 7, 1984, and she preceded him in death on July 29, 1991.  He attended Clairton High School, Class of 1970, and worked in the service industry, starting at Eat ‘N Park in Large and then at CVS in Pleasant Hills, until he retired in 2007 due to his health.  David was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and Penguins, and enjoyed taking walks and spending time with friends and family. He was a former member of the Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in Clairton and more recently attended St. Mary Czestochowa in McKeesport.  David as preceded in death by his wife of 6 years, Alberta M. Pezel, on July 29, 1991.  David was survived by his father John Watazychyn of Meadville; sisters Kathryn (Mike) Parks of Meadville, Patricia (Bill) Dangel of North Huntingdon, Janice (Rowland) Ferwerda of Durand MI; brother Kenneth (Sandy) Watazychyn of Clairton; nephew Steven (Alyssa) Dangel of Greensburg; niece Carolyn (Derek Rinchuse) Dangel of Greensburg; aunts Ann Watazychyn of Mission KS, Helen Watts of Denver, CO, and June Watazychyn of McDonald; and uncle Joseph Watazychyn of McKeesport. She graduated 4th in her class of 735 people from McKeesport High School and received her teaching degree from Indiana State Teachers college (now IUP) going on to receive a master’s degree in education from Penn State.  She taught first, second, and fourth grade at Mifflin School in Pittsburgh for 13 years then retired to raise two children.  She worked as a lifeguard at the McKeesport YMCA where she rescued a man by using CPR and received a Christmas card from him for the rest of his life. 

Never one to stay still she took a course in computers when PCs first became popular and turned it into a second career.  

She taught for 15 years at CCAC South Campus, working in the computer lab and educating students in Intro to Computers.  She further developed a Page Maker course writing the curriculum and a book for the course.  She enjoyed teaching, flea markets, estate sales, collecting Depression glass and Ethan Allen Furniture, mystery books, and Downton Abbey.

Gladys Marie George Keith was born September 27, 1923, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Albert Benjamin and Anna Louise George. Gladys moved to Clairton, Pennsylvania as a young girl. She graduated from high school in Large, Pennsylvania, currently known as Jefferson Hills. Gladys met and was married to Deacon Robert Henry Keith Sr. in 1940. This union produced three children Anna Louise, Robert Henry Jr., and Sandra Marie. Deacon and Deaconess Keith were married for over 47 years until his death in 1988.

Gladys loved people and her life was full of friends and family. Gladys was a remarkably sweet and caring person who gave of herself and her possessions freely, generously, selflessly and without any expectation of return. She was employed by the Jefferson Hills Police Department where she retired as a crossing guard for West Jefferson Hills School District. Before his death, Deacon and Deaconess Keith enjoyed traveling domestically and internationally to visit relatives in places such as the Virgin Islands, California, Texas and Hawaii.

Dean received a BS in Political Science and History from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977. He received a Master of Public Management (MPM) degree from the Heinz School of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University in 1985. 

He served his country in the US Army from 1972-1976 with a Tour of Duty in Vietnam as a Cryptographer. For his service, he received a Bronze Star and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry.

He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). He worked as a Relief Foreman at United States Steel, National Works in McKeesport and a Testing Coordinator at the Allegheny County Community College, Evening Division, Northside Campus.

He is survived by his wife of over 41 years, Rosemary “Rosie” (Smith) Rinella, daughter Jennifer Rinella, son Sean Rinella, and his daughter in law, Rachna Unnithan.

LaVerne Zollars Forbes, age 100 of Clairton, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020 in Southwestern Nursing Center in West Mifflin.  Born May 23, 1919 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph P. and Cecelia (Clark) Leis.  A 1938 graduate of Clairton High School and graduate of the Thompson Business Institute in Pittsburgh, LaVerne worked as a Key Punch Operator for Blue Cross of Western PA in Pittsburgh and later at the JC Penney's in Southland Shopping Center. 

A member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton and its Women's Guild, LaVerne was also a member of the AARP # 2862 and loved to play cards in her spare time.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by both of her husbands James Zollars and Donald Forbes; her brothers J. Clark and Jack Leis; and her step-son James Forbes.

John G. Burk, Sr., formerly of Herminie, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 100 years of age. John was born August 19, 1919 on a farm now known as Kerber’s Dairy. He spent his youth living and working on tenant farms rented by his grandfather during the Great Depression and graduated from Norwin High School in 1938. He married Betty Mae Stough on August 11, 1943. John was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1941 and served at Fort Slocum in New Rochelle, New York during World War II, until his discharge in 1945, having attained the rank of sergeant. John and Betty settled in North Huntingdon to raise their family. John was a rural carrier for the United States Post Office, sold insurance and worked as an investigator for Meyer, Darragh, Buckler, Bebeneck & Eck until his retirement.
While he may have left the farm, the farm never left John. He was a lifelong lover of horses, dogs, hunting, the outdoors, cowboy songs and bluegrass music. John was a gifted fiddle player, dabbled with the guitar and dulcimer, and recorded a few albums that are treasured by his family. He enjoyed woodworking, making small crafts as well as building and refinishing furniture. John’s family will particularly miss his wit, charm and quirky sayings, aphorisms and songs.
John was preceded in death by Betty, his wife of 68 years, his brothers Joseph and William Burk, sister Mary Gess and daughter-in-law Judy Burk. He is survived by his son, John G. Burk Jr. and daughters Roxy Palmer (Alan), Betty Harris (Jay) and Donna Kenney (Lawrence); grandchildren John Garret Burk, Nicholas Brannick (Erin), John (J.J.) Jankowski (Kelli), Ashley Riestra (Fernando) and Logan Jankowski; and great-grandchildren, Liam, Kaelin and Nathaniel Brannick, Conor Jankowski and Emma Riestra.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 10 at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. A graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School, she retired as a sales associate for Hills Department Store in West Mifflin and as a secretary for G.C. Murphy Company’s Home Office in McKeesport. She was an avid reader and enjoyed painting, recently winning an award for her work. She enjoyed making frequent trips to the casino and the highlights of her life included walking the New River Gorge Bridge with her son and grandson, and spending quality time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all. Born March 22, 1933 in Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late William Russell Jr. and Hannah (Dowden) Russell, and wife of the late Edwin “Legs” Sydeski. She is survived by her son, Tom (fiancée Dee) Sydeski of Newcomerstown, OH; daughter, Linda Sydeski with whom she resided; grandchildren, Shaun, Allison and Jennifer; and great-grandchildren, Alexis and Augustus; also, nieces and nephews. Arnold, “Arnie” Earnest Mattes 76, of Clairton, formerly of Jefferson Borough passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh. Arnold was born in McKeesport on May 13, 1943 to the late Viola Edwards and Edward, Mattes. Arnold is survived by his son Lance (Judy) Mattes of Bethel park and his granddaughter Ashley Mattes. He is also survived by his two sisters Donna Kettish of Orlando Florida and Karen (Jeff) Dowd of Orlando Florida. He was a member of the Masons in Pleasant Hills at the F&AM lodge, the Syria Shrine, and he also attended the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Arnold was a Project Engineer at the local #5 where he was employed for most of his life.  One of his favorite things to do in his down time was listen to oldies music. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday March 4, 2020 from 2-4pm, and 6-8pm at the S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday March 5, 2020 at 11am to be followed by interment at the Lebanon Church Cemetery. Judith (Judy) H. Burk, an award-winning University of Pittsburgh graphic designer, successful sports memorabilia entrepreneur and dedicated church leader, died Wednesday, Feb. 26. 

The Sewickley Twp. resident was 75.

Judy’s passing ended a four-year courageous, dignified quest to overcome the effects of a medical procedure that left her almost completely paralyzed.  She died in the arms of John Burk, her husband of 45 years, in the presence of Bob Green, her pastor. 

Although Judy always considered herself a native Pittsburgher, she was born on Aug. 10, 1944, in Long Beach, CA.  Her father, a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, was a U.S. Army Air Corps pilot stationed there.  Her mother was a homemaker.  In 1962, Judy graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School near Pittsburgh, then attended Carnegie Tech for one year, and earned a degree at Pittsburgh’s Ivy School of Professional Art.

Edward Anthony Scarpari Jr., age 51, of Tours, France, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020. A 1986 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School, he attended Muskingum College and graduated from Ambassador College in 1993 and the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. He taught English as a Second Language in France, was the author of two books, and enjoyed running. Born November 29, 1968, he was a son of Edward and Brenda Marlene (Snyder) Scarpari of Elizabeth. In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughters, Margot and Madeleine, his fiancée, Sophie Caplat and her daughters, Lucille, Garance and Suzanne, all of Tours, France; brothers, Tony (Debbie) Scarpari of Castle Shannon and Adrian (Jamie) Scarpari of Baldwin; nieces, Rianna (Alec) Scarpari, and Julia and Naomi Scarpari; nephews, Michael and Brandon Rickerd, and Connor and Braeden Flynn; also, aunts, uncles and cousins. John "Jack" Druga Jr.

John "Jack" Druga Jr., 94, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020.  He was born January 11, 1926 in Duquesne, a son of the late John and Susan (Homol) Druga.  Prior to his retirement, Jack was a production coordinator for Westinghouse and a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of St. Agnes Parish, Emerald Club, a lifetime member of the VFW Post 781 and belonged to two bowling leagues.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mary Druga; brother, Edward Druga; and sister, Agnes Druga.  He is survived by his son, Larry Druga and his wife, Cindy; daughters, Christine Garlow and her husband, Richard, Barbara Eager and her husband, Jack; grandchildren, Michael Garlow, Lynn Eager, Aaron Eager, Miranda Druga, Camden Druga; and great-grandchild, Mackenzie Garlow.  Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday in St. Agnes Church with Msgr. Dorothy T. (Terek) Valencik, age 94, of Glassport, died February 28, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Yevchak) Terek. She is the beloved wife of the late Edward A. Valencik, “Mr V.”; children, Elaine (Samuel) DeMarco, Ron (Claudia) Valencik, Janine (Angelo Norelli) Valencik and Linda (Bob) Dzialowski; grandchildren, Emily (Dave) Kelly, Elise DeMarco, Julia (David) Callahan, Luke Urbanski, Zachery (Victoria Davis) Urbanski, Lauren Dzialowski, Megan Dzialowski, Erin Dzialowski and John Dzialowski; great-grandchildren, Hawthorne Kelly, Asher Kelly, Ailee Callahan, Dorothy Callahan, and Selah Callahan. The sixth of eight children, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward, and all siblings: Sister Mary Josephine VSC, John (Nancy) Terek, Helen (William) Ogurchak, Pauline (Michael) Hrehocik, Michael Terek, Mildred “Millie” (Joseph) Mongelluzzo and Frank Terek. Dorothy was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish, a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and bowled with the Glassport Women's Bowling League. Dorothy was an incredible baker and everyone loved her delicious Nut Rolls. Most of all, Dorothy dedicated her life to taking care of her family and she will be missed by everyone. Friends received at WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, Glassport, Sunday, 2 to 6. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Queen of the Rosary Church. Entombment following at New St. Joseph Cemetery joining her beloved husband Edward.

Pamela J. Kavalukas, 70 passed away on January 29, 2020 at the Riverside Care Center after a long illness. She was born in McKeesport the daughter of the late Peter and Catherine Kavalukas. Besides her parents she was predeceased her brother Gregory. She is survived by her sister Roberta Simeral  and close friend Nancy Halt. 

Friends are welcome to a memorial gathering on Wednesday March 4,2020 in the activities room At the Riverside Care Center 100 8th Ave. McKeesport Pa. at 2:00 pm a blessing service will follow.
