Born January 4, 1924 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Hugh J. and Mary E. (Simpson) Ryan. Mrs. Stanoszek was the beloved wife of the late Edward Stanoszek and the loving mother of Alan (Sylvia) Stanoszek of New Stanton. She was preceded in death by a brother Willard J. Ryan and a sister Virginia Marchette.

Born June 18, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Skrupa) Stanozsek and beloved wife of the late John D. Knapp. Mrs. Knapp was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, a former member of court 871, Catholic Daughters of America, Holy Name Women's Guild, former treasurer of the Prince Humbert Club, Promoter of the Association of the Miraculous Medal, the Sacred Heart Club and a co founder of the Merry Maidens Card Club.

(Butler) McLaughlin and the Late Mark McLaughlin.  In addition to her beloved mother, she is survived by two daughters, Davae and Destini Forrester; a brother, Tyler Colaric, special friend and father of her two daughters, Dave Forrester, maternal grandmother Carol Butler, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special family friend, Randy Adams.

(Gelumbus) Pawlowski.  Mrs. Mihaljevic was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin, It's Confraternity of Christian Mothers, A volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and was a former secretary for the former Duquesne Works, U.S. Steel Corporation. Beloved wife of the Late Rudolph R. "Rudy" Mihaljevic, she is survived by two sons, Ronald J. (Susan E.) Mihaljevic of McDonald and Michael (Julie L.) Mihaljevic of Lancaster, a brother, Robert Pawlowski of Munhall, three sisters, Janet Bucko of Connecticut, Judy Capra of Upper St. Clair, and Vivian Mazzaresa of West Mifflin, and six grandchildren, Brooke, Emily, Tyler, Taylor, Megan and Joshua.

Anna Mae (Jean) Stephan, passed peacefully on December 20, 2016.  She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew J. and Anna (Mraz) Brenzie, and her husband Bob Stephan.  Jean is survived by her daughter Jenean (David) Sustarsic, son B.J. (Andi) Stephan, and grandchildren Pete, Sydney, Aria, and Max.  Jean loved the outdoors, walking, and spending time with her friends and family.  She worked at Firth Stirling in McKeesport before raising her family, and finished her career at the Pittsburgh Blind Association, before serving as the President of the SS. Peter & Paul Ladies Guild in Duquesne, PA.   A private service is being held at Skovranko’s before being laid to rest at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in North Versailles, PA.

After completing his life of service to God, his family, community and country, Bill Adams, 92, a lifelong resident of Duquesne, PA passed from this life to everlasting life on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 surrounded by his family. Bill’s legacy as a servant of the Lord is far-reaching. At the early age of 19, he served his country in the Army earning five battle stars in the European Theatre during WWII. He began his community service as a police officer for the City of Duquesne. Following his retirement, he worked as a homicide detective for Allegheny County. Bill was later employed as a security guard of the Frick Art Museum in Pittsburgh.

Loving mother of Robert Holuka and former daughter-in-law Karen Holuka, both of West Mifflin, and most beloved grandma and favorite shopping partner of her one and only granddaughter, Amy Graham of Texas. Also survived by two great grandchildren, Kyler Maddigan and Kinley Graham and nieces and nephews.
