Dolores H. Gasdick, 90, of Glassport died May 7, 2024. She is the daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Sabo) Limberger. She is survived by her sons Edward (Sherry) Gasdick and Jeffrey (Marianne) Gazdich; daughter-in-law, Veronica Gasdick; sister Rosemary Green; also many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons Michael Gasdick and John Gasdick and brother William (the late Irene) Limberg. Dolores was a former member of St. Cecilia's Parish and was the co-owner/operator of the Wagon Wheel Bar. Friends will be received at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home on Mon. from 4 to 8.

Cassandra R. Stefanakis, 80, of Glassport died Monday, April 14, 2024. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Rosalia Lukas and beloved wife of the late George Stefanakis. She is survived by her granddaughter Kayla (Josh) Krupp; grandchildren Amelia, Sophia, Joshua, Bella and Leia Kurpp; sister Maxine Lukas and nieces Jennifer Dolton and Renee Rader. _Heather L. Hurd, 55, of Glassport passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on April 12, 2024. She is the daughter of Alice (Gulyban) Hurd and the late Roger (Cindy) Hurd. She is survived by the love of her life, Tom Harding; daughter Desirae Harding; son Thomas Harding;step daughter Missy (Dustin) Sayne; grandchildren Isabella Harding, Elana, and Deacon Sayne and brothers Jeff (Jenny) Hurd, Mark (Kelly) Hurd and Erik (Tara) Hurd; also nieces and nephews. Gertrude M. Zalac, 89, of Glassport, died March 27, 2024. She is the daughter of the late John and Helen (Kucienski) Krol and beloved wife of 62 years, of the late George A. "Tookie" Zalac. She was preceded in death by her son Gregory Zalac; sisters Irene (Michael) Bagay, Laura Gavola, Louise (John) Slifko, Stella (Harry) Piatt, Theresa (Verne) Montinari and Blanche Krol and brothers Chester, Joseph, Walter, John and Stanley Krol. Gertrude is survived by her grandchildren Brandon, Ashley, Karli and Kristy Zalac; great granddaughters Karina Zalac and Jaylle Branchack; also many nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Joachim & Anne Parish and was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Elizabeth J. "Betty" Gaydos, 94, of Glassport died March 20, 2024. She is the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Kapsar) Jambor and beloved wife of the late Andrew Gaydos. Betty is survived by her daughters Susan Bender, Andrea (the late Jim) Foster and Beth (the late Jeff) Cadman; grandchildren Amanda (Nicholas) Julian, John (Jackie) Foster, Jared Bender, Anthony (Kelly Ursiny) Foster, Annelise Cadman and Kenzie (Robert) Stinner; bonus granddaughter Emmale Bodnar; great grandchildren Hannah (Rob) Eversole, Miley Julian, Brooklyn Julian, Chazdine Harmon, Sophia Foster and Mia Grace Stinner; great great grandsons Brayden and Braxton Eversole; sister-in-law Jackie Jambor; also many nieces and nephews. Edward C. Gniazdowski, 83, of Glassport, died March 8, 2024. He is the son of the late Bronislaus and Sally (Wolotkiewicz) Gniazdowski. Joan M. Kostyzak, 88, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Glassport, passed away on March 2, 2024. Born to the late Walter and Joan Razewski, Joan lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service to her family and community. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Pamela (the late Edward) Terek and Jacqueline (Eric) Reichanadter, and her cherished grandchildren: Justin (Michelle) Terek, and Taylor (Dan) Zindren, and Tyler and Austin Reichanadter. Her great-grandson Oliver Zindren was just born in January and filled Joan with pride and joy. She also leaves behind her beloved and dedicated brother, Richard (Donna) Razewski and nephews Rick (Sandra) and Greg (Renaye) Razewski. Joan dedicated 45 years of her life as an office manager for Sun Ray Electric Supply Co., where her professionalism and dedication were unwavering. Beyond her professional life, Joan was deeply committed to her faith and community. She was a member of Queen of the Rosary Church (formerly St. Cecilia), where she contributed her time and energy to various activities, including the Christian Mothers and the Friday fish fries. Joan's warmth and friendliness were evident to all who knew her. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. Her impeccable sense of style and grace was admired by many, always dressed perfectly, and polished, a true reflection of her inner elegance. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport. A memorial mass to celebrate Joan's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and honor her life. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in Joan's memory.Joan's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know her.
