George W. Croushore, 75, of White Oak, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at his residence in Redstone Highlands North Huntingdon Senior Living Campus. Born in Greensburg, July 11, 1947, he was the son of the late Jack T. Croushore, and Emma Jane (Hunter) Croushore. His late wife, Bernice Bohn Croushore, passed in 2020. He is survived by two daughters; Jennifer (Gary) Schafer of Jefferson Hills and Rebecca (Phillip) Cicco of North Huntingdon; four grandchildren; his brother Jack (Linda) Croushore of White Oak; brother-in-law Earl Bohn of Ben Avon; and sister-in-law Helen Amanda Bohn of North Huntingdon. The family is having a private viewing at Hunter’s Funeral Home on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10am, with interment to follow at St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. A memorial service for George will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 2pm at McKeesport Presbyterian Church, 1510 Versailles Ave., McKeesport, PA 15132 with the Rev. Michael Stanton officiating. George donated much of his life to helping others. He was an active member of McKeesport Presbyterian Church, on both Session and Finance committees, and part of the Men's Association. A graduate of Waynesburg University, George spent over 35 years of his accounting career with the Consolidated Natural Gas Company (PNG). He spent many years working as a loan officer for the Consolidated Federal Credit Union. He was a member of the White Oak Borough and Municipal Authorities, serving his local community as a Board Member. He was an avid historian, and loved reading, specifically the largest history books he could find. He had a natural green thumb and was able to nurse any plant back to life. He took pride in his vegetable garden each year, and carried that joy with him to Redstone, starting a garden club. He lent his support to anyone in need, whether it was a heartfelt discussion, or a helping hand. Family and friends loved him deeply and grieve his loss, but know he is at peace and reunited with his beloved wife Bernice. The family suggests contributions in his honor to McKeesport Presbyterian Church, 1510 Versailles Avenue, McKeesport, PA 15132.

Wayne A. Kostelnik, 78, of West Mifflin, died July 27, 2022. He is the son of the late Albert and Bertha (Hufnagle) Kostelnik. He is survived by his beloved wife Virginia “Ginny” (Kollar) Kostelnik; daughter Dawn (David) Kuchma; son David Kostelnik; grandchildren Taylor, Matthew and Julia; son-in-law Nick Kurimsky; also nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Debie Kurimsky and brother Ronald Kostelnik. Wayne was retired from US Steel Homestead Works and Riverview Homes. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish and served in the US Army. Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne on Sun. from 2 to 8. A funeral blessing will be held Mon. 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment following St. Hedwig Cemetery.

Leslie Pamela Kovalick, age 63, of White Oak died on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born in Braddock on June 7, 1959 and is the daughter of the late Robert Frank and Iris Margarita Pachere Hobbs. Leslie was employed at PNC Bank as an operations analyst for many years. She was a fun-loving person, loved to laugh, and travel to various locations. Leslie was very meticulous about keeping her house tidy on both the inside and outside.

Dwane L. Mack, age 68, of McKeesport, died July 23, 2022, at home. Born May 10, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John and Mercedes (Bennett) Mack and was the husband of the late Gwendolyn Mack and partner of Toni Vining for 29 years. Dwane served his country with the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid fisherman who frequented Indian Lake or the Monongahela River.

Barbara A. Sobel, age 67, of New Stanton, died on Monday, July 25, 2022. She was born in Seoul, South Korea on August 5, 1954 and is the daughter of the late Olav and Mimmie Chun Crone-Aamot. She loved to knit, was very passionate about cooking and her garden. She also loved all animals, especially cats. She was a very caring person and always wanted to help others in need. She was extremely passionate about giving care to others, either with a warm meal or a place to stay.

Phillip A. Lazzaro, 72 of Forest Hills died July 24, 2022 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oakland. He was born January 16, 1950 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph and Catherine Ossler Lazzaro. Phillip was an entrepreneur in the food and restaurant industry. He enjoyed playing pool, food, cooking, entertaining, cards, bowling, travel, but most especially spending time with his family. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the war in Vietnam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony "Opie" Lazzaro . He is survived by his beloved wife, Dolores, two daughters, Natalie Lockhart and her husband Logan, Stephanie Adeniran and her husband Olamilekan, three brothers, Michael, Stephen (Janet), Richard (Adrienne) Lazzaro, three sisters, Joann and Patricia Lazzaro, Mary Beth Kernan (Timothy), one grandchild, Samson Adeniran. The last of the four beautiful Milburn sisters has been called home by our Heavenly Father. Dorothy Mae Debrason passed away peacefully in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh on July 22, 2022.
Born June 20, 1931, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Milton Homer and Dolores Regina (nee Dore) Milburn and the wife of the late Lewis Debrason.
Dorothy leaves behind her son, William Ray Debrason and wife Margaret, her daughter, Dolores Regina Adair and husband Michael; granddaughters, Elizabeth Grace Ward and husband Robert, Victoria Mae Debrason, Mary Ann Lehman and husband Daniel, and Billie Kathryn Debrason-Perez and husband Alfonso, Indea Leah Adair and fiancee Lindsay Fischetti; grandsons, Zachary Michael Proskin and Michael Lee Adair Jr and wife Rachel; great-grandchildren, Sara, Evelyn, Jocelyn, McKayla, Lauralyn, Rayanne, Janelle, Valerie, Hayden, Matthew, Adriana, Jonathan and Julie and all of her beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dawn Lynn Yauch, 74 of West Mifflin and McKeesport went to heaven on July 24, 2022. She was born Nov. 24, 1947 in McKeesport. Daughter of the late LaVerna and William Watson. She was a graduate of West Mifflin North High School and Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. Previously employed by Styles by Santone for many years and was a member of the Homeville Christian Church in West Mifflin. Dawn was an 11 year transplant survivor. She is survived by her son Joshauh William Yauch of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sister Cheryl Watson Vandall of North Huntingdon; nephews Jeffrey (Rebecca) Vandall with sons Will and Ben of Arlington, VA and Todd (Barbara) Vandall with sons Finn and Leo of Graz, Austria. Funeral arrangements by Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne. A memorial service will be held on Aug. 13, 2022 at Noon with a repast to follow at the Homeville Christian Church in West Mifflin.
