Philip A. Cramer, 70, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020.  He was born June 3, 1949 in McKeesport, a son of the late Henry Philip and Clarice (Edwards) Cramer.  Prior to his retirement, Philip was employed by McDonalds and was an avid Steelers fan.  He enjoyed playing the bass and classical guitar, working on cars, and loved cats.  He is survived by his wife, Debora L. (Glunt) Cramer; and brother, Edward Cramer and his wife, Linda.  There will be no visitation.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10 a.m. in Bible Fellowship Church, 250 Brush Creek Road, Irwin, Pa.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com

Donald E. Dudik, 87, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020. He was born May 21, 1932 in Port Vue, son of the late Michael and Pearl (Klaja) Dudik. Prior to his retirement, Don was a pipe inspector for US Steel and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. He enjoyed gardening, listening to Oldies music and was an avid Steelers fan. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Dudik; and son, Shawn Dudik. He is survived by his daughter Dawn Phillians and her husband David Jr.; son, Scott Dudik and his wife, Cathi; 3 grandchildren, Gage, Gavin and Cylee; sisters, Dolores Waskowitz, Linda Dudik and Cookie Marote. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. Dorothy Ivan/Evans Manzlak, resident of North Huntingdon, PA, formerly of Glassport, born to the late George and Susan (Timura) Ivan of Glassport, died in her one hundredth year on January 15, 2020.  Graduated as the class Salutatorian, she was the last surviving member of Glassport High School Class of 1938. A member of the former Holy Trinity / St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in McKeesport, she was a past president of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and Ladies of Charity, was awarded the Diocese of Pittsburgh Ladies of Charity Service Award Medal, and founded the Holy Trinity Widows' Support Group.  She was a church choir member where the Salesian-published poem she wrote, "Night of Nights," was set to music and sung at midnight mass. She also served as Glassport's Judge of Election, was a Girl Scout Leader, a past president of the Glassport Women's Club, past secretary of the Pittsburgh District of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, and an active volunteer and board member of the former Glassport Public Library.  A resident of Redstone Highlands since 2013, she was known as the "poet" for her spiritual poems, several of which were published by the Salesians in their anthology books and booklets.  Much to her delight, two were chosen for the Salesian Golden Book of Poetry placed in the Vatican Library and several are posted on the Salesian website.  At Redstone, she formed many friendships among residents, staff, and caregivers. She considered each of them as additions to a loving family.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John (Munzie) Manzlak in 1981; a sister, Regina in 1920; half-sisters, Mary Gyurisin, Elizabeth Kushner and Elizabeth Maharik; half-brothers, George and Michael Ivan; son-in-law, Pete Riesberg; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is survived by daughters, Daria Riesberg of Alamo, CA and Dr. Audrey (Timothy) Quinlan of North Huntingdon; two grandchildren, Tara (Bill) Willenbrock of Chantilly, VA and Daniel (Deanna) Quinlan of Cranberry; one step-grandson, Derik Riesberg of CA; three great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.  Family and friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday in St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon, with Msgr. LaVerne S. (Ulichnie) Mihalik, 85, of White Oak, died Sunday January 12, 2020. She was born August 24, 1934 in Braddock, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Henry) Ulichnie and was also preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Mihalik Sr. LaVerne was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish, St. Robert Bellarmine Church, East McKeesport, where she volunteered for the respite group of Catholic Charities and also the monthly grief recovery support group.

She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children Bonnie (Joseph) Grott of McKeesport, Michael J. Mihalik Jr. (Peter Abraham) of Boston, MA, Lisa (James) Smith of Hopewell, and Susan (Michael) Ellsworth of Youngstown, OH; her grandchildren Brittany Smith, Tyler Grott, and Shannon and Kacey Ellsworth.

Leonard “Leo” J. Ostrosky, age 91, of East McKeesport, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020. He was born November 6, 1928 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late John and Catherine Ostrosky. He was a long time member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport and the American Legion in White Oak. He served in the US Army in Korea and went onto work for over 37 years as a Mill Wright for U.S. Steel in Braddock. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Teofil Ostrosky; and sister Cecilia Yohn. He is survived by his wife of over 67 years Bernice M. (Uschock); sons Thomas (Barbara) Ostrosky, James (Elizabeth) Ostrosky and David (Diane) Ostrosky; grandchildren Kimberly and Joseph Ostrosky and Katie (Adam) Yeargin; brother Robert (Judy) Ostrosky; and sister Patricia (John) Sauers.

Peggy Page Comer Sepcic, 91, of McKeesport passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 peacefully at home. She was born on June 4, 1928 in Shenandoah, VA to the late Franklin and Fannie Comer. She was the wife of the late James George Sepcic, who passed away October 19, 2017. The youngest of 14 siblings who grew up in Shenandoah, Va, Peggy was a strong, caring woman who was already driving at age 14 because, as the last sibling home, she was responsible for taking care of her mother. Peggy was always a sharply-dressed, loving, & welcoming woman who always had a pot of coffee on the stove and an extra plate at her table so no one ever left her home hungry or without good conversation. Until Peggy became ill, she was active member of many organizations including the board of the Liberty Presbyterian Church, an executive member of the McKeesport Hospital Women’s Committee, and a volunteer EMT for the Liberty Borough Ambulance service.  Peggy was loved & revered by all who knew her.

Richard P. Moran, 81, of Scottdale, Arizona, formerly of Duquesne, died unexpectantly at home on Monday, January 6, 2020. Born in Duquesne on July 17, 1938, he was the son of the late John P. and Anna (Matura) Moran. Mr. Moran was a retired Duquesne School teacher and  coached Basketball at Duquesne High School for 16 years, compiling an impressive 273-156 record.

He won 6 WPIAL Championships, 2 PIAA State Championships and 8 section championships. Under Rich's tutelage, 5 of his players reached the prestigious 1000 point club.  Rich won numerous Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and McKeesport Daily News Coach of the Year awards.

He was also a former member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in West Mifflin.
