Judy K. Bisig, 76, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at her home. She was born February 12, 1943 in Altoona, Pa., a daughter of the late Richard and Reba Guyer Kitting. Prior to her retirement, Judy was a secretary for the switch gear division at Westinghouse, East Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Rosary Society of Corpus Christi and enjoyed walking her dog, gardening and spending time with her family. Dolores M. Solomon, age 87, of McKeesport, died September 15, 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital. Born January 24, 1932, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Mary Varkonda and the wife of the late Leo Solomon.
Dolores was a soft-spoken, sweet lady that had kindness and compassion for everyone. She was a selfless caregiver who dedicated her life to her family and home. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending all of their school events. Dolores was a life-long member of the former Holy Trinity Church of McKeesport and a current member of St. Patrick's Church.

Born in McKeesport, February 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Attorney T.C. and Helen Borland Jones, Jr. Professor emeritus at California University and professor of sociology at CCAC, she was a member and elder of Sampson’s Mills Presbyterian Church, past president and member of Altrusa, past president and member of McKeesport College Club, member of the McKeesport Heritage Center, and a graduate of American University. Huntingdon; sister in law, Shirley Jones of Latrobe; nieces and nephews including Susan Jones Mullins of Grundy, VA; Cynthia Jones Osselborn of Hermine; James M. (Cindy) Jones of Springdale, OH; Harry M. (Renee) Jones, Jr. of Scottdale; Jennifer Jones (William) Seymour of Skokie, IL; T.C. (Patti) Jones III of Irwin; Timothy W. (Lisa) Jones of Cincinnati, OH; Elizabeth Jones (Donald) Cool of Waynesboro; Jeffery B. Austin Taylor Fagan, 23 of McKeesport, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in McKeesport, PA.
Austin was born August 20, 1996 at UPMC Magee Hospital. He attended McKeesport, High School and graduated class of 2014. While in high school, he was actively involved in playing basketball, baseball, and football. Austin furthered his education by attending the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown Campus. He was a former employee with the City of McKeesport for 9 years. He started out as a summer employee working his way up the ranks to a fulltime permanent employee. He then began a new career as a laborer with Banks Gas Services in North Versailles. Austin was an avid sports fan and follower of the great sports teams here in the ‘Burg’ - he “Bled” Black and Gold!!
He was a member of Covenant Church of Pittsburgh and occasionally visited Bethlehem Baptist Church of McKeesport where his family attends.
Austin loved family, being around friends, had “swag” and a great sense of humor. He had a love for good food, music, being around people of all ages. He was a true friend to his friends—ready and willing at a moment’s notice to be there for each of them for the sake of friendship. Austin’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donations.. his organs have restored life’s promise for many families..and for this, we his family, know that his love and zest for life will live on in others.
