Harry “Rich” Richard Stromeyer, 70, of Glassport passed away peacefully Friday, December 8, 2017 at Jefferson Regional Hospital.  He was born February 7, 1947 in Mingo Junction, Ohio to the late Carl and Ruth Bickerstaff Stromeyer.  Rich is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Aileen Elkovitz Stromeyer; sons, Charles & Joseph Stromeyer both of Ohio; daughter Katherine Martin, also of Ohio; stepdaughters, Amber (Dave) Radaker and Brooke Ladisic both of Glassport; grandchildren, Bella, Zach, Jacob; sister, Elsie Petrella of Mingo Junction, OH; many nieces and nephews.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Robert Stromeyer; sister, JoAnn Pettibon; and niece Tracy Petrella.  Rich was retired from Forbes Regional Hospital, served in the US Navy for 4 years, was a deck hand on a tugboat, managed the Showboat Lounge in Glassport for 9 years, was a member of the VFW in Steubenville, OH and a member of American Legion Post 380 in Dravosburg.  Family and friends will be received Monday, December 11, 2017 from 4 – 8 pm at E. C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport,  PA   15045.
