Kevin T. Reed, 56, of Glassport died May 1, 2017. He is the son of the late Earl and Evelyn Reed. STEPHEN W. CROWE age 67, of West Mifflin, on May 9, 2017 at home. He was the son of the late Merle and Mary Jane (Carek) Crowe. He was the owner of Duquesne Metal Products “DMP,” and also the owner of Kennywood Cycle Center. He was a former member of the former First United Methodist Church of Duquesne. He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Patricia (Bair) Crowe; father of Kimberly Ann (A.J.) Crowe-Lescinsky, of Lincoln Boro, and Stephen (Michelle Noonan) Crowe II; grandfather of Samuel M. Crowe. Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 2-9 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Avenue, Duquesne, PA, 412-466-3300, at which time services will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Bob Cherep officiating.

She was the wife of the late Roy O. Steele. She is survived by daughters, Tina (Robert) Burgman and Lisa A. Janet M. Cox, age 79 of Jeannette, died May 8, 2017. She was born in Liberty Borough on April 7, 1938, daughter of the late Charles and Grace Harper Thompson. She was a member of the Keystone Christian Church, and former organist at the First Christian Church of McKeesport and the Liberty Borough Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Alan “Pete” D. Cox of Jeannette; children, Donald (Jeanine) Snider of Scottdale, PA; Daniel Snider of Jamestown, SC; Denise (Gerald) Eisaman of Elizabeth Twp.; Susan Cox of North Versailles; David (Michelle) Cox of Orting, WA; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother, Charles Thompson, Jr.; and sister, Grace Thompson.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177) on Thursday May 11, 2017 from 4 pm until 8 pm with burial at Grandview Cemetery. Harry E. Lanauze, MD, age 91, of Lincoln Borough, died May 7, 2017, at home with his family by his side. Born August 11, 1925, in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Domingo and Hilda (Minor) Lanauze and the husband of Helen (Szymela) Lanauze, for over 46 loving years.
Harry was a retired physician with his family practice based in McKeesport for over 53 years. He was a McKeesport Hospital emergency room physician for over 20 years and practiced medicine there until 2011. Additionally, Harry was a staff doctor at John J. Kane Regional Medical Center, for over 25 years. He was a Second Lieutenant in the US Army Airforce, serving during WWII. Harry completed the Tuskegee Institute Division of Aeronautics 66th Army Air Forces Flying Training Detachment, September 11, 1945. He was a Tuskegee Airman, flying the “Red Tail,” P-51, Mustang. He became a Biology professor after his military service, at Fort Valley State University. Harry then continued his education and received his medical degree from Meharry Medical School, in Nashville, TN. Harry was a humble man despite all his life’s accolades, he truly was self-less, from his military service to dedicating his life to caring for the families of McKeesport for over 50 years.
In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by children, Dottrele Soffee of Richmond, VA, Harry Lanauze, Jr., of Knoxville, TN, Johil Lanauze of Memphis, TN, Karlyn Coward of McKeesport, Angela (Matt) Moran of Elizabeth and Leslie (Chris) Strub of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by siblings, Domingo and Jose Lanauze.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A blessing service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Fr. Daniel Straughn will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mark Parish, 1125 Romine Ave., McKeesport, PA 15133.
