Nancy Lee (Petterson) Wallace, 64, of Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2018. She was born November 29, 1953 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Bishop) Petterson. She was a Medical Secretary for Gateway Foot and Ankle in West Mifflin and was a member of the White Oak American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Nancy’s personality was 24 Carat gold and her smile would light up an entire room. She was the best wife, mother, sister, daughter, and faithful friend to anyone lucky enough to know her. She will be missed by many. She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” C. Wallace, sons, Brian (Bernadette) Jordan of Greenock and Jeffrey (Johanna) Jordan of Bozeman, MT, step-children, Robert P. (fiancée, Trish) Wallace of Plum Borough, Amy L. Wallace of White Oak, and Beth Beckinger of Elizabeth Township, grandchildren, Melanie Jordan of Greenock and Julia and Jeffrey Jordan of Bozeman, MT, brother, The Rev. Karl J. (Sharon) Petterson of Elizabeth Township, and nephews, Adam and Jared Petterson.

George L. Margo, age 93, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was born December 13, 1924 in Homestead, a son of the late George and Suzanna (Martin) Margo. He was a World War II Army veteran that went onto work for Westinghouse Corporation for over 30 years as a chemical engineer before retiring. He was also member of the American Legion in Irwin. In Addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Bertha (Boldizar) Margo; son Richard Nagy; and his two brothers. He is survived by his daughters Suzanne Herring and Marsha (Joseph Miller) Zaval both of Washington Twp.; grandchildren Melissa Zaval and Michael Herring; and great grandchildren Raquel and Derek Herring and Trillium Huey.

Edward “Ned” McCune Caughey, 66, of Ligonier, died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at home. Born in McKeesport, November 5, 1951, he was the son of the late Dr. Edward and Virginia Housaman Caughey. He is survived by his wife, Judith Wilson; his cousin, Sue Ann (Keith) Singer of Latrobe; and his lifelong friend, Mac Petty of White Oak. Ned was a retired groundskeeper at Laurel Valley Golf Club and a lifeguard, swim instructor, and personal trainer at the Ligonier YMCA. He was a graduate of Penn State University and a member of the McKeesport YMCA and the Youghiogheny Country Club. Ned was a volunteer for the Ligonier Valley Meals On Wheels and for the Friendly Visitors of Westmoreland County. He was an avid organic gardener and golfer. Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 is in charge of arrangements. A celebration of Ned’s life will be held at a later date. The family suggests contributions to the Ligonier Valley Meals On Wheels or Wildlife Works Inc. in Youngwood, PA.

Born November 14, 1935, in Duquesne, she was the Daughter of the late Michael and Ann (Hanyak) Girovsky. Mrs. Seech was a member SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne and a former school crossing guard in West Mifflin. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest L. Seech. She is survived by a son, Ernest (Wendy) Seech of West Mifflin, and two granddaughters, Delainy and Emily. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah A. Seech, and three brothers, William, Edward and Michael Girovsky.
