Jeffrey J. Hoagland, 67, of McKeesport, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022. He was born May 28, 1954 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Glenn and Mary Louise (Lundie) Hoagland. He was a US Navy veteran and a proud 1972 graduate of McKeesport High School. Jeffrey graduated from CCAC South in West Mifflin and went on to work in The Coronary Care Unit and later as a Health Care Expeditor for UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debra A. (Gobel) Hoagland, sons, Christopher (Stephanie) Hoagland of Export, Jeremy Hoagland, and Joseph Hoagland both of McKeesport, a granddaughter, sisters, Marcia (Joe) Lust and Joy (Shawn) Bilak, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Mark Hoagland and sister, Barbara King. Friends are welcome on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Sandra L. "Sandy" McBride, 79, of White Oak, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022.  She was born December 12, 1942 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Ella V. (Bash) Victor and the late George F. Victor, Sr. Sandy was the wife of  William A. McBride, Sr., who passed away March 18, 2004. She worked as a waitress for many years for the Yougiogheny Country Club and was a member of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church, both of Elizabeth Twp. She was former President of The Mount Vernon Women's Youth Organization and was also a member of the bowling league of the former Colonial Lanes in Elizabeth.  She also enjoyed crocheting.

Phillip G. Miltenberger, 66, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022. He was born August 18, 1955 in South Bend, IN, and was the son of Martha (Melling) Miltenberger Ortega of South Bend, IN, and the late Gene O. Miltenberger. Phillip was a member of the Sisters of the Divine Redeemer in Elizabeth Township and the Buena Vista Vol. Fire Co. He was a retired IT Security Specialist for PNC Bank and was a US Navy Veteran. Phillip was a graduate of Clay High School in South Bend, IN. He is survived by his wife, Irene "Renee" (Rendulic) Miltenberger, sons, Scott Alexander Miltenberger of Morgantown, WV and Robert Matthew Miltenberger of Norfolk, VA, sister, Christine Stock of Dawson Springs, KY, brothers, Paul (Pam) Miltenberger of South Bend, IN, and John (Terra) Miltenberger of Northern VA, and nieces and nephews.

Zdobinski, 87, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 at home.  She was born December 9, 1934 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Joseph Cancroy and the late Anna (the late Paul) Gallippie Miller. Virginia was a graduate of Westinghouse High School and a member of Christ the Divine Shepherd- St. Bernadette Church in Monroeville.  She loved her family and her beloved white shepherd, Motley. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard Zdobinski; daughters, Deborah A. (John) Fox, Cindy J. Estock and Diane A. (James) Samstag; grandchildren, Amber (Brandon) Kotouch, Brian Estock, Cory Estock, Josh Samstag and Jess Samstag; and great-grandson, Roman Kotouch.

Jeffrey Lyn Spishock, 65, of Boston, lost his courageous fight with cancer on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 2, 1956 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Stephen "Steve" and Mary Elizabeth (Capner) Spishock. Jeff worked for Comptec in Irwin. He was a 1974 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. He loved traveling, sports and music. An avid Fantasy Football Player "The Outlaw" was a twelve time Jagoff League Champion. An independent man, Jeff walked his path of life with courage, and compassion.

Evie was a member of the Holy Spirit Church in West Mifflin and gave much of her time coordinating & managing events for the West Mifflin #3 Volunteer Fire Department. She was also a housekeeper at McKeesport Hospital, but most importantly, she was a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Richard James Prailey, 82, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022. He was born March 21, 1940 in Boston and was the son of the late John and Rose (DiMatti) Prailey. He attended Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Township, and was a member of the National Corvette Restorers Society. He was also a member and past president of the Versailles Lion's Club.  Rich was the former proprietor of Prailey's Auto Body in Versailles which is now operated by his son Scott Prailey. He enjoyed his family and was very active in his business and loved mentoring future technicians. He was very competitive in tennis, loved tinkering with and showing his classic cars, and wintering in Florida.

He was born January 27, 1967 in McKeesport and was the son of the late LeRoy and Nancy Rae (Weber) Moffa. Lenny attended the Gospel Alliance Church & the Round Hill Presbyterian Church. He attended the University of Pitt and obtained a Bachelors of Science in Engineering and went to work as an Engineer at Chromalox for 30+ years. Lenny was an amazing selfless father and husband. He was humble, kind, knowledgeable and very wise. He was a gentle quiet spirit and he loved his family more than anything.

George "Bill" William March, III., 77, of Jefferson Hills, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022. He was born March 20, 1945 in Mitchel Field, NY and was the son of the late George William March, Jr. and Catherine P. (McGrath) March. Bill worked for many years as a truck driver and prior to his retirement had worked for Dillner Transfer Company for many years. Bill was a skilled mechanic and would fix anything for anyone with a smile on his face. He was an avid gardener, and enjoyed growing his own cucumbers, tomatoes and onions. He enjoyed going to his camp in Bedford County and watching football. Bill also enjoyed westerns such as Perry Mason and Gunsmoke to name a few and loved the show Mountain Men. One of Bill's favorite past times was sitting on his porch with his fly swatter. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by sons, George (Connie) March , IV of Bunola, Dan March of Ennis, Texas, Terry (Renee) Kadar of Uniontown, Louis (Violetta) Kadar of Clairton, and Matt (Carri) Kadar of West Newton, daughter, Suzanne (Mary) Kadar of Belle Vernon, brother, Tom (Dawn) March of Springfield, IL, special cousin and caregiver, Jamie (Paul) Trunzo of Glassport, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by sons, Johnny March and James Kadar and his partner, Joyce Kadar. There is no visitation. Cristina "Cristie" Louise Auretto, 46, of Gibsonia, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 27, 2022. She was born March 3, 1976 in McKeesport and was the daughter of Sue Ann (Brookhouser) Auretto of Gibsonia and the late Frederick Anthony Auretto who passed away September 7, 2016. Cristie was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish- St. Angela Church, White Oak. She had worked for Magee Hospital in Oakland and was a 1995 graduate of McKeesport High School. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her grandmother, Dorothy Brookhouser of Gibsonia, sisters, Gina (Kip) Kennemur of Birmingham, AL, and Danielle (Tracy Willcox) Auretto of Woodstock, NY, nephews, Nicholas (Kasey) Kennemur, and Zachary and Jared Kennemur, great-nieces, Hayes and Murray Kennemur, aunts, uncles. and cousins. Robert Wayne Adams

Robert Wayne "Bob" Adams, 98, of Monroeville passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022. He was born October 8, 1923 in East McKeesport and was the son of the late Robert Farris Adams and Ethel (Darbey) Adams Cole. He was the husband of 53 years to the late Dorothy Marie (Roha) Adams, who passed away in 2003. Bob enlisted in 1943 and began training in the Army Air Forces, which later became US Air Force. As a Cadet, he trained as a pilot, bombardier, and navigator. Later, the Army needed soldiers in the European front of WW2 and the Air Cadet program was cancelled. He then served as a radio operator in the infantry until the Germans surrendered. After a short leave, Bob was shipped off to the Pacific Theatre of operations where he served in the Phillipines until operations concluded that phase of the war. He was Honorably Discharged on March 9, 1946. Through the years he was always proud of the time in the military and especially of his unit, The Blackhawks 86th Division, that he served with. He kept in touch with his fellow Blackhawks' comrades well into his 90s, attending many of the reunions.

Patricia Jean Haase, 90, of White Oak, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022. She was born August 22, 1931 in Vanderbilt and was the daughter of the late Jack and Maude (Lint) Cochrane. She was the wife of the late Herman A. Haase who passed away September 22, 2019. They were married for 68 years. Pat grew up Presbyterian and later became Lutheran when she married Herman. She was a life member and volunteer for McKeesport Meals on Wheels and was also a longtime volunteer at the McKeesport Hospital Gift Shop. Pat was a receptionist for Dr. Lezek for many years. She was an avid bowler.

Judy Lynne Krauss, 61, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Bunola, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022.  She was born November 1, 1960 in New Eagle and was the daughter of the late John Krauss, Jr. and the late Clare Theresa (Salka) Krauss. Judy loved to learn and further her education. She loved the French language and her numerous trips to France. She enjoyed art and painting and once had an art gallery in Elizabeth.  She was a voracious reader, who collected books and comic books, her favorites were Wonder Woman and Justice League. Judy was an avid gamer and adored games of all varieties. She also liked attending The Arts Festival, folk music, playing guitar and doing puzzles. There will not be any visitation or services, per Judy's request. She is survived by her half-brother, Michael (Laura-Ann) Krauss of The Villages, FL, nephews, Brian and Joseph Krauss, a multitude of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her dear cousin, Marilyn Lewis and her beloved cat, Corrie. Alma Jean Barton, 92, of Elizabeth Twp, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, March 12, 2022. She was born September 2, 1929, in Portage, Pa. and was the daughter of the late Freeman E. and Melda S. George. She was a charter member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church. She worked at G.C. Murphy Co. as an executive assistant and two positions with Elizabeth Forward school district as secretary at Yough Elementary and later as AV coordinator at the high school. She was active with the boy scouts and in the high school band booster organization. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Queen Aliquippa chapter. Alma was an avid reader who also enjoyed crocheting, crafts and traveling. Anyone who knew Alma, knew of her love for her family.
