Edith F. Finney, 87, of White Oak, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019. She was born July 7, 1932 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Isaac Wesley and Goldie (Swanson) Couchenour. She was the wife of the late Glenn Alvin Finney who passed away May 22, 2008. They were married for 59 years. Edith was a member of Kephart United Methodist Church in McKeesport. She was part owner of the former Glenn A. Finney Funeral Home in Sutersville and was a beautician. She was also a Rental Manager for Brandywine Agency, Amore, and Sierra Management. In her earlier years she loved to entertain and was a great cook. She was a friend to many, and her family was always first in her life.

She was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township and the American Cancer society. She was a volunteer for the food bank and the Divine Redeemer office in Elizabeth Township. She was retired from the office of Kenny, Meta, Hilberg, Kane and Brunskill and had previously worked for the Dean of Engineering at State College and the G. C. Murphy Company in McKeesport.

Nigel Prexta Walsh, 41, of McKeesport, passed away at home on Sunday, December 15, 2019. He was born September 20, 1978 in Pittsburgh and was the son of Martella Walsh (ne Povlick) and her husband, Robert, also of McKeesport. He was a member of the Bethlehem Alliance Church in Bethlehem, WV. He was a fourth-grade elementary school teacher, having graduated from Phoenix University, Summa Cum Laude. He also was an engineer, once working for CEC in Pittsburgh. He had an associate degree in engineering from Belmont College in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Nigel loved fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He also enjoyed building aquariums and collecting and caring for fishes.

George William Brubaker, Jr., 47, of McKeesport, passed away at home on Saturday, December 14, 2019. He was born June 18, 1972 in Norfolk, VA and was the son of Patricia A. (Surgeon) Brubaker of Versailles and the late George William Brubaker who passed away October 16, 2015. George was a Radiological Supervisor for BWXT and was a US Air Force Veteran. For his service, he received the Air Force Training Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal and the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon with 1 Service Star. George was a kid at heart. He loved all Superhero's and has an enormous superhero collection. He was one of the most loving and giving person. He loved his nieces and nephews, going to fleatiques and playing hockey, basketball, softball and golf. He was also a huge hockey fan.

Amado Anthony Gorham, 25, of Homestead, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at home. He was born August 6, 1994 in Oakland, California and was the son of Kathleen Joyce Gorham. Amado worked as a greeter at Walmart. Amado found his foster father, Paul Hunter at Auberle of McKeesport. Amado ran up to Paul's car, at the time a complete stranger, as he was leaving from volunteering with other children. Amado yelled " Mr. Paul, Mr. Paul, I heard about you." Paul stopped the car, and the little boy barely tall enough to see in the car window said "Mr. Paul, will you foster me?" At that moment, Amado stole Paul's heart and shortly after fostering began.

Vivien worked as a regional business director for a large area healthcare company for 12 area nursing homes and was a member of St. Patrick Church in Christy Park. She was dedicated to her work and the community she served and took great pride in providing for her family, her grandchildren and extended family. She loved trips to Disney, The Meadows, The Rivers, Atlantic City and Las Vegas. During her long sickness her family is grateful for all the time that was spent together.
