He was born October 25, 1935 in Monessen and was the son of the late Jay Smith and the late Helen (Bell) Smith Lincoln. He was the husband of the late Barbara J. (Cramer) Smith who passed away December 19, 2017. Dale was a life member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenock and Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Somerset. He was also a member of Duquesne-McKeesport F & AM Lodge 731 and the National Ski Patrol. Dale was Director of the former McKeesport Choraliers Chorus. He was a retired Director of Operations for Intercity Motor Freight and had previously taught school and worked for the former G.C. Murphy Co.

Doris was a Charter Member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and a member of the Berrier Class, and the United Methodist Women. She also taught 2nd and 3rd grade Sunday School and was on the Church Building Committee there. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Silver Slippers, the Saints and Sinners Bowling League, and was a volunteer worker at International Village. She was an avid reader, crafter and great baker. She was a secretary at the former Westinghouse Headquarters in Wilmerding.

Margaret Elizabeth (Wargo) Matta, 94, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Versailles, passed away on Friday, May  24, 2019. She joins her husband, the late Joseph D. Matta, Sr, who passed away July 18, 2007. Margaret was born  March 4, 1925 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Dobransky) Wargo. She was an amazing person who truly lived for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved us all unconditionally and made each of us feel special and important. She will be remembered as a wonderfully creative and dedicated homemaker who loved her family deeply and gave so much of herself to everyone she cared about. During WWII, she aided the war effort by working at the US Steel Christy Park Works in McKeesport that were converted to produce Ammunition Shells. She was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Christy Park.

Sowa, who passed away February 6, 2008.  Delphine was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in West Mifflin and worked many years as a nursing assistant.  She loved playing cards, especially Pinochle, going to Kennywood and riding the Jackrabbit and Thunderbolt, and going to Pirates games, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
