Nancy A. Wasielewski, age 79, of Penn Hills, formerly of North Huntingdon died September 9, 2021 at UPMC East Hospital. She was born January 16, 1942 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Tony and Mary E. Knor Bencloski. Nancy was a member of Calvary  Church. Prior to her retirement, Nancy was employed by Target. She was a member of the Senior Center in Penn Hills and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband James in 2011, one brother Anthony Bencloski and one sister, Karen Butalla. She is survived by her son Michael Keller (Susan), one daughter Stacey Cearns (Todd), brother, Dan Bencloski, step son James Wasielewski (Mary) , three grandchildren, , Andrew, Natalie. Lauren. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, Sunday 2-4,6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Calvary  Church, Irwin. Dorothy Jane Richie (Micklo) age 76, of West Mifflin / North Huntingdon Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 5th, 2021. She went home to be with Jesus and to greet her mother Annette (Jancsik) and her father William Micklo of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Dorothy (Dotty) lived in Florida for the past 16 years with her loving and devoted husband Jim. Some of her closest friends are sisters Joyce and Gladys Hudak. Dorothy and Jim 's daughter, Stacie Crisp lives with her husband Eric and son Dalton. Dotty and Jim's son, Jim Richie lives with his wife Christine and two daughters, Helena and Emily. Dotty was close and loved spending time with her sisters Gail Henderson and Leslie Frazier. Dotty was the Supervisor of the Radiology Department at Jeannette Hospital. Dotty will miss all her family and friends but she is in Heaven now with Jesus and will be there to greet us when it is our time to go home. Friends and family will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Monday September 13th from 2-4 pm and from 6-8 pm. and on Tuesday from 8 am to 9:30 am with parting prayers at 9:30 am. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 10 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, followed by burial services at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers or gifts to the family, please make a donation in Dorothy's memory to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. Mary Jane Byers, 91, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at Walden's View, North Huntingdon. She was born, January 12, 1930 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Emma (Volk) Thomas. Mary Jane was a member of the Ridge Runners Trailer Club and enjoyed camping and crafting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Byers Jr.; son, David N. Byers; and daughter, Donna Baker. She is survived by her children, Lori Higginbotham and her husband, Bill, Kevin Byers and his wife, Mary Ruth; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Tanner B. Van Woundenberg, 19, of Trafford, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021.  He was born May 24, 2002, son of James and Juliana (Henderson) DeBlasio.  Tanner was a graduate of Penn Trafford High School, Class of 2021 and employed by Famous Supply.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, playing video games, swimming, hanging out with his friends and loved his canine pups, Charlee and Tuna.  He is survived by his maternal grandparents, David and Wendy Henderson; paternal grandparents, Randy and Pamela DeBlasio; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the James W. Hoffman, 72, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021.  She was born December 12, 1948 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Jesse and Hazel (Triplett) Hoffman.  Hazel was an Avon sales representative and a member of Calvary Assembly Church and past president of the Women's Aglow.  She was the author of several books and loved spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Hoffman Sr. and his wife, Karen.  She is survived by her nephews, Larry Jr (Jessica) Hoffman and Christopher  (Dana) Hoffman; niece, Haley Hoffman (Tommy), great nieces and nephews, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Amanda, Skylar, Serenity and Damian.  Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. on Tuesday at the James W. Bonner Sr., 80, of Irwin, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021.  He was born October 1, 1940 in McKeesport, a son of the late James Bonner.  Prior to his retirement, Tom worked for US Steel Irvin Works for 40 years and was a graduate of Clairton High School.  He was a member of St. Edward Parish in Herminie,  played for Norwin Senior Softball team for seven years, was a foster parent for 15 years, and loved to fish.  He had a kind soul and a warm heart to all he met and a great sense of humor.  Tom was very handy and could repair or build just about anything.  He will be reunited with his true love, Carole.

Pricener, 59, of Herminie, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.  She was born, October 11, 1961 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Thomas and Jo Anne (Layman) Hill.  Leah was a program manager for JB's Bright Beginnings Childcare Center and a member of The Potter's Church, New Stanton.  She enjoyed photography, collecting Polish pottery, decorating for the holidays, spring flowers and attending the fall festivals, especially Fort Ligonier Days.  Leah loved children and serving God and her church.  She is survived by her loving husband or 37 years, John S. Ronald W. Lose, 79, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. He was born, June 15, 1942 in N. Braddock, a son of the late Walter and Wilma (Hillman) Lose. Prior to his retirement, Ron was a serviceman for Equitable Gas for nearly 50 years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in Greenland. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons, bowling, playing pinochle, and as a younger man riding his motorcycle. He also looked forward to having breakfast with his fellow retirees from Equitable Gas from time to time. Ron was a loyal friend to many and the first to lend a kind hand to a stranger. He had an incredibly strong work ethic and was the perfect handyman at home.
He was deeply proud of his two daughters and his grandchildren and was happy to be recently blessed with a new great granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnne Perri. He is survived by his wife, Lesley (Miller) Lose; daughters, Mareen O'Brien and her husband, Kevin, Lori Branthoover and her husband, Mike; sisters, Cheryl (Ray) George, Donna Lose; grandchildren, Kirstie, Bella, Christopher, Nicholas; and great-granddaughter, Juliette. Cancino, 88, of Irwin, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Riverside Nursing Center.  She was born January 29, 1933 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Tomovsick) Margie.  Prior to her retirement, Dolores was a cake decorator for Giant Eagle.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Topps.  She enjoyed crafting and clowning, making costumes, hats, gardening, baking cakes and making candy.  Dolores found great joy being around children and sharing in their laughter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D. David Cancino, brother, Edward Margie and sister, Irene Long.  She is survived by her son, D. Rick Cancino and his wife, Nancy; daughters, Paulette Myers and Diane Lavelle and her husband, Jim; grandchildren, Benjamin Cancino, Aaron Myers, Rachel Myers, Carmen Davidson, Alex Lavelle; step grandchild, Chris; great-grandchildren, Maggie and Ayden; step great-grandchildren, Xavier, Haley, Caleb, A.J., Savana and Elsiabelle. Cynthia Louise Milchick, 72, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  She was born March 15, 1949 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Louise (Cifranick) Milchick.  Cynthy was a graduate of Norwin Senior High School and was a cosmetologist.  She was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon where she was Director of R.C.I. A.,  a Eucharistic Minister, catechism teacher and taught Bible classes for many years.  Cynthy belonged to the Secular Carmelite Order of Latrobe of Jesus Mary and Joseph, given the Carmelite name, Cynthia of the Good Shepherd.  She was a devout Catholic who dedicated her life to God.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and watching movies.  She is survived by her siblings, Kenneth A. Milchick and his wife, Mary E. "Liz", Dennis R. Milchick and his wife, Shirley, Andrea McAfee, and Thomas A. Milchick; nephew, David (Danielle) Milchick; and niece, Tracey (Greg) Hartman.  Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the James W. Miller, 61, of Pittsburgh, formerly of New Florence, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021.  He was born June 28, 1960 in Johnstown, a son of the late Donald and Dorothy (Monihen) Miller.  Prior to his retirement, Steven was a union carpenter for Local #432.  He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, hunting, camping, going to the beach and especially spending time with his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Gregg McChesney.  He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Fleming and her husband, Mark, Libbie Kreuger and her husband, Ben; brother, Daniel (Debbie) Miller; sisters, Dawn Dupuis, Rebecca McChesney; grandchildren, Coleman and Kailey; and several nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements were made by the James W. Braun P. Welsch, 91, formerly of North Huntingdon died August 18, 2021 at Brookdale Sr. Living Center. He was born August 10, 1930 in Turtle Creek a son of the late George and Matlida Breeger Welsch. Braun was a member of the Circleville United Methodist Church. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a supervisor by Verizon Central office. He was an avid outdoorsman and a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean War.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dale, two brothers, George Jr. and Robert C. Welsch. He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty (Tietze) Welsch, his daughter, Roxanne Anson, daughter-in-law, Roberta Welsch, one granddaughter, Kristen (Scott), one great grandchild, Tyler, a nephew, Barry Welsch. Larry J.  Hoffman Sr., 63, of Larimer, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at his home.  He was born February 22, 1958, a son of the late Jesse and Hazel Triplett Hoffman.  Prior to his retirement, Larry was a surveyor for West Penn Power. He was a member of the American Eagles in Irwin, Larimer Firehall Social Club, played pool in various pool leagues. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. Allan B. Cook, 85, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at his home.  He was born June 11, 1936 in Munhall, Pa., a son of the late Albert and Anna (Slinchock) Cook.  Allan was a graduate of Duquesne University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Education and was a veteran of the US Army and Army National Guard.  Allan was a principal for the West Jefferson School District, a member of St. Agnes Parish and Knights of Columbus.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanne Cook and sister, Jean Mihailoff.  He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Lucille (Martin) Cook; son, Paul Allan Cook and his wife, Kathryn; daughter, Eva Marie Cook; grandchildren, Nathan Cook and Brandon (Leah) Cook.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10  a.m. in St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon.  Interment to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Irwin.  Donations may be made to St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon, PA or Wounded Warriors in memory of Allan.  Many thanks to Alane and her hospice nurses for the wonderful care they gave my husband.  Thanks to Annette and Linda for being wonderful caregivers.
