DONALD H. HAMILTON age 88, of Duquesne, on March 19, 2017, at his residence. He was the son of the late Harold and Mary Catherine (McCartney) Hamilton; he was retired from Bucyrus-Erie Foundry in Glassport. He proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. James McAllen age 92, of Penn Hills, formerly of Duquesne, on March 19, 2017, at Southwestern Veterans Center. He was a son of the late Archibald and Stella (Shoop) McAllen. Jim was retired from US Steel Duquesne Works as a crane operator. He proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. He was a member of the VFW, Ft. Louden, PA and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, Steelers, Pirates and Pitt Football. Husband of 65 years to the late Marie E. (Jugan) McAllen; father of James Robert (Donna) McAllen of Baltimore, MD, Marcie Marie McAllen of Duquesne, Janet S. EUGENE N. "GENE" COSTEL age 80, of West Mifflin, on February 16, 2017. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Irene (Ondik) Costel. He was a retired high school math teacher from the Steel Valley School District retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, their Men's Club and volunteered at church fish fry dinners. He was an avid bowler and an avid golfer, and had a hole-in-one at Butler's Golf Course. He proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War and retired from the US Naval Reserve as a Chief Warrant Officer Four with 30 years service. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion and he was a graduate of California State College.
