After completing his life of service to God, his family, community and country, Bill Adams, 92, a lifelong resident of Duquesne, PA passed from this life to everlasting life on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 surrounded by his family. Bill’s legacy as a servant of the Lord is far-reaching. At the early age of 19, he served his country in the Army earning five battle stars in the European Theatre during WWII. He began his community service as a police officer for the City of Duquesne. Following his retirement, he worked as a homicide detective for Allegheny County. Bill was later employed as a security guard of the Frick Art Museum in Pittsburgh.

Stephen P. Kalo, 60, of Duquesne, died peacefully at home on, December 5, 2016. He was born, January 30, 1956. Beloved son of, Dolores M. and the late John S. Kalo, of Duquesne; sister, Kristine A. Kalo, of North Versailles; and the late (brother) David C. Kalo; his niece Erica R. Kalo ( Michael ), of North Huntingdon. His nephew Brian M. Kalo, of North Huntingdon; and his great nephew Eli. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many, many friends. Stephen enjoyed going to work at Mon Yough Community Services, VBA, in McKeesport, and being with his friends and co-workers.

Mary (Magdich) Holuka, 94, formerly of Duquesne, died peacefully Wednesday, November 2, 2016, in Eldercrest Nursing Center, Munhall. Born February 13, 1922, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Justina (Mazej) Magdich. Mrs. Holuka was a member of S S Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne.
Loving mother of Robert Holuka and former daughter-in-law Karen Holuka, both of West Mifflin, and most beloved grandma and favorite shopping partner of her one and only granddaughter, Amy Graham of Texas. Also survived by two great grandchildren, Kyler Maddigan and Kinley Graham and nieces and nephews.

Lily Ann Thomas Baron, of White Oak, passed away on Sunday, October 30th, 2016. She was a loving wife of 46 years (November 7, 1970) to Robert Edward Baron. Lily was born on Easter Sunday, March 28, 1948, in Duquesne, daughter of Michael and Anna Thomas.

Mr. Odoski enjoyed being an avid landscaper, repairing lawn mowers, and spending time with family and friends. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine C. (Kosuda) Odoski. James Michael Volosky, 76, of Homestead, died Friday, August 26, 2016 in Pittsburgh. Born January 29, 1940 in Homestead, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Mikula) Volosky. Mr Volosky was a retired employee of the former Homestead Works, U.S. Steel Corp. and a U.S. Army veteran. He was the husband of the late Alice Volosky.
