Edward "Eddie" Paul Reganick, age 68 of White Oak, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on January 25, 2017 at UPMC McKeesport. Born September 23, 1948 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Chavis) Reganick, and loving husband of Roberta (Green) Reganick. Eddie was a proud graduate of Duquesne High School and went on to work for US Steel as a bargeman until his retirement after more than 28 years of service. In his free time, you could often find Eddie on a softball field playing the game he loved. He was a professional softball player for the Pittsburgh Hardhats and played for many of the area leagues. When not playing a game of ball, Eddie loved to spend time fishing, doing woodwork, and going to all the local flea markets to find more fishing gear and tools to tinker with. To say that he was a “handy-man” would be an understatement. He was always there to help family, friends, or a neighbor in need, whether it be a simple household problem or re-pointing a whole chimney. He also had a knack for buying old cars, or as he would say, "A-1 shape cars" and fixing them up to resell. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family and all those he had the chance to meet. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Aaron (Julie) Elm of Acme, Lisa (Phil) Siano of South Riding, VA, and Bill (Patty) Elm of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Jake, Rebecca, Josh, Aaron Jr., and Kailey; brothers, George Reganick of Duquesne and John "Tubby"Reganick of McKeesport; and nephew, Michael Reganick of Neville Island. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Reganick. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jason Wilson will officiate. Entombment will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Edward's memory may be made to the Salvation Army. Edward Eugene Humphreys, 75, of McKeesport, died January 23, 2017, with his sister by his side. She was there for him when he needed her, and was his best friend. Beloved son of the late Edward R. and Isabelle C. McBride Humphreys, their first born. They were truly blessed to have a wonderful son. He was their life, and he gave them nothing but happiness. His life was fulfilled with the love that he got from his parents. He was a kind hearted person and everyone loved him. He always had a joke to tell to make someone smile or laugh. He loved playing the guitar and going to the park. He worked for Francis McBride Wall Coverings as a wall paper hanger, and served in the U.S. Navy. He had a heart of gold and a wonderful soul, and a kind, loving, and sweet spirit. With his laugh and his smile, he helped ease the pain and suffering of many. Now he is at peace, free from his own pain and suffering. When you love someone, every moment is shadowed by the fear of loss. The more you loved, the more you feel the loss. His death leaves a giant hole in the hearts of his many family members and friends. Today we are not saying goodbye, but only saying we will see you again. He is survived by his brother, Steven Humphreys of McKeesport and his sister, Sally Humphreys of McKeesport, also by his beloved pets, Max, Abigal, and Maggie, who loved him with all their hearts. The Yorkies were the joy of his life. Friends will be received in the Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 on Friday, January 27, 2017, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, where a Blessing will be celebrated by the Rev.
