Steve Kovatch, 97, of Allison Park, formerly of Duquesne, died peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2016. Born in East McKeesport, August 30, 1918, he was the son of the late Steve and Regina (Lovash) Kovatch. Mr. Kovatch was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin, a retired employee of U.S. Steel Corp., Duquesne Works Electric Furnace Department, and a proud U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.

John L. (Johnny the Love Jacket) Fait II, 33, of West Mifflin, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 29, 2016. Born in Pittsburgh, July 18, 1982 he was the beloved son of John L. Fait Sr. and Peggy (Riggar) Fait. John was an officer in the Mifflin Social Club and a social member of the Duquesne VFW Post 188 and Homeville Volunteer Fire Company.

Theodore R. "Ted" Barker, 85, formerly of Duquesne, died peacefully, Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the Southwestern Nursing Center. Born June 26, 1930 in Duquesne. Son of the late Albert and Janet (Smith) Barker. Mr. Barker was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne and a proud US Navy Veteran serving for over 25 years including the Korean Conflict. Mr. Barker was a founding member of the Duquesne Auxiliary Police, the Duquesne Little League and Pony League.

Born March 21, 1929, in Duquesne, he was the son of the late John and Ann (Bogdan) Harbula Sr. John was a retired Automobile Salesman for Rohrich Cadillac and a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran of the Korean Conflict. Beloved husband of the late Roseann "Cookie" Harbula and Shirley Sullivan.
