Paul V. Estok, age 80, of McKeesport, died March 26, 2016. He was born in McKeesport on January 11, 1936 and is the son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Komar Estok.
Her served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a Hardware Manager for Sears for 47 years. He loved reading the NY Times and listening to talk radio shows.
Paul is survived by his brothers; Michael J. (Maryann) Estok of White Oak, sister in law Sylvia Estok of McKeesport; nephews; Gregory (Kelly) Estok of Duquesne, Paul (Mary) Estok of Brunswick, GA, Mike (Yvonne) Estok of Mechanicsburg, Matthew Estok of White Oak. Also great-nephews and great-nieces.

Arline R. Clark, 92, of North Versailles, formerly of Port Vue, died March 25, 2016, at AHN Forbes Hospital. Born July 16, 1923, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Louise (Arnold) Robertson and wife of the late Gerald J. Clark. She was an active member of the Point Pleasant Retirement Community where she entertained the other residents every six weeks with shows, often with holiday themes, sing-a-longs, and of course, her myriad of jokes. Arline was a member of St. Mark Parish and the Christian Mothers within the church. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mark Parish and John J. Kane Regional in McKeesport, and also volunteered at Kane Regional in McKeesport for over 15 years.

Chester Edward (Spychala) Spiegel, age 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born February 6, 1932 in McKeesport to the late Julius and Mary Kepka (Spychala) Spiegel. He is the husband of the late Phyllis Abraitis Spiegel. Chester was a lifelong member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church (now Corpus Christi Parish) in McKeesport. He served in the US Army during the Korean War in Germany. After graduating from McKeesport High School in 1950 he worked until his retirement in the shipping department at U.S. Steel National Tube Works in McKeesport. He was a member of the American Legion Post 701 in White Oak, the Polish National Alliance Lodge 352 in McKeesport, the Croatian Club Lodge 146 in Versailles, the Mon Yough Church Dartball League for Christy Park UMC, and the Glassport Lanes Duckpin Bowling League. Chester loved all Pittsburgh sports teams and most especially the McKeesport Tigers. He also loved to watch his grandchildren in all their different activities, and to travel and hit the casinos.
Chester is survived by a daughter Melissa Awenowicz of Irma, SC; a son Erik, and his wife Keli, of Penn Township; grandchildren Benjamin and Sarah Awenowicz and Joshua and Jordan Spiegel; a sister, Rose Sedney, of Beaver Falls; brothers, Walter Spiegel, of North Huntingdon, and Joseph (Theresa) Spiegel, of Key Largo, Fla.; He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved and adored him. He was preceded in death by sisters, Helen, Sophie and Stella; and brothers, Chuck, Frank and Edward.

Charles Kevin “Sonny” Cohen, 58, of White Oak, died Friday, March 18, 2016. He was born in McKeesport on March 21, 1957. He was a man with many names; known to family as Kevin, and known to friends as Sonny. He was the devoted husband of Susan Tanney Cohen for 24 years; cherished father of Joseph T. and Mary F. Cohen, of White Oak; beloved brother of Loretta (John) Fisher, of Whitehall, and JoAnn (Dave) Rhome, of Greensburg; and dear uncle to Leah (Brandon), Hannah (Sam) and Katie (Markus). Sonny was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, General Smedley D. Butler Post 701, for more than 10 years. He very much enjoyed bowling and was the president of the Oddballs Bowling League. For a time, Sonny also coached for the White Oak Juniors at White Oak Bowl. He loved riding his 2008 Vulcan, 2000cc, Classic LT. He and Susan or one of the kids could be seen around town or out in the country on a warm summer day. His greatest passion, though, was his career as a professional truck driver. In his younger years, he was an over-the-road steel hauler, traveling the East Coast. Due to his heart disease, he began to drive locally and then eventually became an instructor. Throughout the years, he has received letters and cards from former students thanking him for changing the course of their lives. Because of Sonny, they now had the ability to adequately support their families with their new career. Sonny was a kind and gentle soul. He truly saw the face of God in everyone and treated them as such. He will be deeply missed by many, especially his family. He was our rock. Robert (Bob) Lester Farneth, 90, of North Huntingdon, PA, formerly of Plum Borough, died of heart failure on March 13, 2016 at UPMC East Medical Center. Robert was born in Plum Borough on August 11, 1925 to Ralph and Florence McIntyre Farneth, the 5th of 8 children. After graduating from New Kensington High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1943-46 and served in the 22nd Marine Regiment in the South Pacific. He worked at PPG Industries and Koppers Company, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He married Phyllis Evelyn Lucas in 1949 and together they had four children. They lived for more than 50 years on Logan's Ferry Hill, Plum Borough, on land that had been in the Farneth family for generations.

She was the wife of the late William H. Greenland who died February 14, 2006. After 40 years of service she retired as the business office manager of the former McKeesport Daily News. Jacklyn was a graduate of McKeesport High School class of 1945.

Katherine Ann (Lowry) Swope, 94 of North Huntingdon was called home on Thursday March 3, 2016. Kate led a full and fun life. She loved belting her alto parts with her Sweet Adelines and being with her special friends "The Turtlelettes". Being an excellent seamstress, Kate made many of their performance costumes. She also loved to crochet, making cute outfits for babies all over Pittsburgh. Kate loved to travel spending summers in Stone Harbor, performing with her Sweet Adelines in London, and living in places such as Northern Michigan and Mexico on the Sea of Cortez. Kate was known for being witty, patriotic, having a 10 cent novel stash, and being an avid fan of her Pittsburgh sports teams.
