Anthony M. Hutskow, age 82 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away at home on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Born February 6, 1941 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Anthony T. and Helen (Hrapchak) Hutskow. A member of Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish - St. Michael's Church, Anthony worked as a funeral director with the former Pavlic Funeral Home in Versailles, at US Steel Duquesne Works, and longest and lastly as a manager for Burger King at locations around the Richmond, VA area. In his spare time, he loved to fish. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Leona (Watrobski) Hutskow; his children Janice (the late Thomas) Petet of Prince George, VA and Anthony M. (Jennifer) Hutskow, Jr. of Elizabeth Twp.; his grandchildren Thomas Petet, Jr., Rachel (David) Duval, Anthony J. (Katelyn) Hutskow, Adam (Carrie) Hutskow, and Lexi Hutskow; his great-grandchildren Hunter, Gavin, Juliette, Wyatt, Quinn, and Nolan; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Hutskow.

Melinda Hazel (Bryant) LaDue, age 46 of Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at home. Born June 9, 1977 in McKeesport, she is a daughter of Janet (Lawrence) Bryant of Greenock and the late William A. Bryant who passed away December 30, 2006. A bachelor's degree recipient from Vassar College in New York in Theater Arts, Melinda was a talented photographer and a caring pet owner to her beloved dog Ziggy. Besides her mother, she is survived by her siblings Wendy Bryant of Greenock, Reid (Tracey) Bryant of Latrobe, Chad (Milada Vachudova) Bryant of Chapel Hill, NC, and Todd (Akiko Meguro) Bryant of Carlisle; her niece and nephews: Kendall, Tyler, Andrew, Lukas, and Dominik Bryant; and her former husband John LaDue.

William John "Bill" Greiner, 77, of Jefferson Hills passed away at home on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He was born May 6, 1946 in McKeesport and was son to the late Joseph Julius and Lillian (Coddington) Greiner. Bill was a McKeesport High School graduate and served in the US Navy. He loved sports cars, and enjoyed volunteering his time to help his daughter create crafts for the vacation bible school at their church. In 1973, Bill built his & Maureen's house from the ground up using his beautiful woodworking skills. He also worked many years alongside Maureen as proprietors of WJ's Discount Pet Center.

On January 3, 2024, William “Bill” Gene Nay passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. Born in Fairmont, West Virginia to William Harold and Francis Imogene Nay, he was a 1968 graduate of Norwin. His career path lead him from journeyman electrician at US Steel Duquesne Works to an international project manager. Bill was active in NCAA and American Legion baseball. He was a member of the Plum Creek Masonic Lodge and the Monroeville Pitcairn Sports Club. He enjoyed gambling on golf holes with friends, Bob and Ralph, fishing meetings with Dan and John, big foot talk with Dwayne and motorcycling cross country with Clay. Bill was preceded in death by his son William “Billy” Buchanan Nay, his parents, and in-laws, Robert and Helen Buchanan. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judith, son Robert (Lisa) and grandchildren Von, Sullivan, and Jelena Nay of Cary, North Carolina, daughter Stacy (Brian) and grandchildren Nash and Ridge Youngbauer of North Huntingdon, brother-in-law Robert (Cindie) Buchanan of St. Petersburg, Florida, Uncle Rex Shuman of Fort Wayne, Indiana and his canine shadow, Lucy. The family wishes to extend a thank you to Treasure, Karen and Dara from hospice and caregiver Chad for providing a comfortable and dignified life for Bill. John J. Megliss, age 95, of Lincoln Borough, died December 30, 2023, at AHN Jefferson Hospital. Born September 4, 1928, in Duquesne, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Palko) Megliss and the husband of the late Mary "Patsy" Sprentz Priselac Megliss. John worked for many years in HVAC around the community. He enlisted in the Navy where he proudly served in World War II. He was a 50 plus year member of the Glassport American Legion Post 443. He also enjoyed hunting with family and friends.

William E. "Red" Stonebraker, 96, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at home. He was born June 7, 1927 in Butler and was the son of the late Gerald O. and Clarissa (Young) Stonebraker. He was the husband of the late Dianne Louise (Krepps) Stonebraker, who passed away June 19, 2013. Red was a US Navy Veteran serving during World War II. He was a graduate of Grove City College and would go on to work for State Farm for 37 years, retiring as a claims superintendent. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Catherine “Kitty” Louise (McNeill) Rosenbayger, age 94, of East McKeesport, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 23, 1929 in Pitcairn, a daughter of the late James and Genevieve (Peduzzi) McNeill. She was a member of Mary Mother of God parish, formerly St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport. Kitty's entire world centered around her children. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, extended family and friends who eventually became family. She reveled in her home being full of love and laughter and everyone was always welcome there.
Kitty loved to bake and was famous for her Christmas cookies and banana bread. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Michael Rosenbayger; grandson Sean Brown; and brothers Jerry, Rich and Bob McNeill. She is survived by her children Randy (Lori) Rosenbayger of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Gery (Lynne) Rosenbayger of North Versailles, Lynn (Bill) Brown of East McKeesport, Connie Rosenbayger of East McKeesport, Kathleen (David) Heckenstaller of Penn Township and Diane (Tom) Santucci of Churchill; daughter-in-law Mariann Rosenbayger of North Versailles; 15 grandchildren and their spouses; 6 great grandchildren; sister Linda Trinchero; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thayer loved reading, cooking and her cat Hazel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Schifano. Robert C. Forney, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on July 3, 1937, in McKeesport, the son of the late Forrest E. and Hazel I. (Bowles) Forney.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Nancy J. (Spahr) Forney; his children, Robert D. (Nora) Forney, Eileen S. (the late, Terry Flowers) Westwater and Judith A. (Scott) Crawford; his grandchildren, Annie (Eric), Jesse (Meghann), Erica, DeAnna (Daniel), William (Jessica), David (Sarah), Jamie, and Wyatt (Lily); 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his three siblings, Doris, Billy, and Marilyn.
Robert grew up in McKeesport attending local schools where he laid the foundation for his love for sports. His love for athletics led him to Youngstown State for a year of college where he continued to play football.
Embarking on a career at Duquesne Light, Robert began as a lineman and, with dedication and leadership, retired as a respected foreman. His work ethic was only matched by his commitment to his community, where he served as the assistant chief for the Liberty Boro EMS and the Chief of the Liberty Boro Fire Co. Robert's leadership extended to his role as Director of Chanters for AL-O-Mon Forest #138 and his active membership in Masonic Lodge #731 and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
