Frances "Frankie" R. Nosich, 82, of North Huntingdon, died July 29, 2023.  She is the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Labon) Vach and beloved wife of the late Layne J. Nosich.  She is survived by her sons Steven Nosich and David (Kristie) Nosich; grandchildren Nathan and Tayne; sister Martha Yablonsky; sister-in-law Mary Kay Vach; also nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother Anthony Vach.  Frankie was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and a former member of St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church; member of Christian Mothers; Homestead School of Nursing Alumni; AARP and volunteered for Meals on  Wheels.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Tues. from 5 to 7.  A funeral mass will be held Wed. 9:30 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.  Entombment following New St. Joseph Cemetery.

Robert W. Keller, 78, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  He was born June 9, 1945 in Braddock, a son of the late David and Kathryn Eileen (Topper) Keller.  Bob was a heavy equipment mechanic for US Steel for 20 years and later retired from Beckwith/Cleveland Bros. with 21 years of service.  He was a graduate of West Mifflin High School and received his associate degree from Vale Tech.  He was a journeyman for heavy equipment, lifetime member of the VFW Post 781 North Huntingdon, and a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John and David Keller.  He is survived by his wife, Julia (Popovich) Keller; son, Robert Keller and his wife, Cathy; daughter; five grandchildren; two loving nieces, Lindsay Olsek (Matt) and Ashley Calcagno (Dustin); and his puppy, Rusty.  Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA  15642.  A funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. and military honors will be performed at 7 p.m.   Interment in Visitation Cemetery, Mt. Willis Korenoski, 95, of Glassport died July 28, 2023.  He is the son of the late John and Anna Korenoski.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years,   Helen (Dzurenda) Korenoski; children Mary Ann Ross, Peggy Korenoski, Debbie (Ron) DeMay, Bill (Janice) Korenoski and Patty Korenoski; grandchildren Kristin (Steve), Justin (Katie), Danielle (John), Chelsea (Nick), Luke (Lexi)and Lexi (Donald); great grandchildren Elliana and Madison.  He was preceded in death by siblings John (Rose), Mike (Ann), Mary (Mike), Frances and Pete (Pearl).  He was a retired machinist for B & O Railroad for 41 years.  Willis was a member of St. Joachim & Anne Parish; a former usher and a member of the American Legion.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Wed. from 2-4 and 6-8.  A funeral mass will be held Thurs. 10:00 am  at St. Michael's Church with Father Tom Wagner.  Interment following Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.

Beryl "Louise" Lindberg Benson, 92 of North Huntingdon died July 29, 2023 at her home. She was born December 28, 1930 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late George and Edith Hackett Mains. Prior to her retirement, Louise was the owner of Liberty Precision Tooling and was later employed by Macys as a Lancome Representative with 20 years of service. She was a member of the Westmoreland City Methodist Church, enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching television. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Benson in 2004, a son Charles Lindberg Jr., a daughter Cheryl Lotz, a sister Patricia Rusnock. She is survived by her daughter Barbara 'Babs" Khosraviani and her husband Dario, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. She was born April 5, 1926 in Spangler, Indiana County, Pa, a daughter of the late James Clark and Nellie Spiers Marsh. Lillian was proudly employed as a cashier for Kroger's for decades and she continued to work jobs into her seventies. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed keeping house, cooking, gardening, working, traveling and gathering with family. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter M., two sons Robert Scott and Peter A. Mclaughlin, a daughter Carol Ann Auckerman, brothers, James Harrison, William Wesley, sisters, Hazel Zentner, Edith Pearl, Edna Brehm, Mary "Ollie" Schadle, Laura Jane Marsh, Betty Mae Pressler, and recently, a very close niece and life long best friend, Thelma Lucas. On July 27, 2023, Sonja Faye Noullet passed peacefully surrounded by her beloved family.  Sonja was a talented lady.  She never found a DIY project she couldn't master.  She gifted her family with the beautiful fruits of her labor, paintings, crocheted blankets and baby outfits.  Her love for her husband and family was only surpassed by her love of God.  She was a prayer warrior and prayed diligently for all those she cared for and those she didn't know.  Although she will be greatly missed by her family, we are comforted to know she is dancing on the streets of gold surrounded by our loved ones that have gone before her.  Sonja was born October 16, 1941 in Columbus Georgia, a daughter of the late Arthur and Ethelda Kirkland Newman.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Duboise.  She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard L. Noullet; son, Richard (Lisa); daughters, Angela Rickard and Sarah Lewis (Kevin); brother, William Purvis (Debbie), sister, Skye Nightsong; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday at the James W. Marlene A. Schelinski, age 83, from Turtle Creek, died July 13, 2023, at the Squirrel Hill Wellness & Rehabilitation Center . Born July 23, 1939 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Frank and Alberta Massung.
Marlene was one of the first female bartenders and also worked in retail jewelry sales.
She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with the children and grandchildren.
Marlene is survived by daughters, Sharon Schlenski and Pam Wakefield and son, Paul Schelinski.

Roberts; children, Larry (Melissa) Hutchinson of Bensalem and Angela Marr of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Cheyenne (Jose), Tyler, Hannah, Robert and Kira; great-grandsons, Luke and Carson; and many nieces and nephews. George B. Spahr, Jr. age 87, of White Oak, died July 23, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born April 5, 1936, in Homestead, he was the son of the late George B. and Kathryn (King) Spahr Sr. and the husband of Nora L. (Miller) Spahr.
George retired as a mechanic at Bob Massie Toyota. After retirement, he continued to work for #1 Cochran Automotive Group transporting cars to other dealerships. George loved cars and was known to be "always on the go." He was a member of the Sampson Mills Presbyterian Church.
George is survived by his son, Russ Spahr of Rostraver; grandchildren, Adam, Nathan, Wesley, and Aaron; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma Lee Martin and Elaine Leech of Florida; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Spahr, and daughter, Sue Rugg.

She was born in Mifflin Township on February 27, 1941 to the late Elmer and Catherine Reid Wilson. She is survived by her son, Michael Froman, of Florida, grandchildren Gregory and Brian Froman, of Florida as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Donna Maxwell Westcoat, 85, of North Huntingdon passed away at home on Monday, July 24, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. She was born September 9, 1937 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Graydon & Ethel Maxwell. After graduating from McKeesport High School in 1955, she went on to study Education at Edinboro Teachers College. Donna loved being a 6th grade teacher in the McKeesport school district in her younger days and she also did some tutoring and substitute teaching throughout her life. She is survived by her devoted husband of over 27 years Fred Westcoat; sister Brenda Hoffman (Ralph); children Robin Toops (Jeffery) and Darren Hensel (Bren); step-children Scott Westcoat (Kathy), Warren Westcoat (Eve) and Ellen Jordan (Michael); her cherished grandchildren Max, Seth, Lyla, Joanie, Maddie, Trevor, Ashley, Catherine and Craig; and many nieces, nephews & cousins.

Lawrence “Larry” P. Connors, age 88, of Irwin, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023. He was born October 6, 1934 in Helena, Montana, the son of the late Lawrence A. and Doris M. Connors. Upon graduating from Gonzaga University with a degree in chemical engineering, Larry was hired by Westinghouse in Pittsburgh. He continued his education at Carnegie Tech where he earned a degree in electrical engineering. He worked as an engineer his whole career. Larry loved traveling, cooking, and reading about history. His lifelong love of learning continued at the University of Pittsburgh in retirement.
