Dwight LeRoy Hackett, 76, of Murrysville, went on to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday March 17, 2023 due to multiple health complications. He was a much loved musician, composer, arranger, pianist, teacher, and choir director.
He grew up in McKeesport and resided in Murrysville. He taught choral music at Norwin School District from 1969-1978 and at East Allegheny School district from 1990-2008 where he directed a few musicals. He was Minister of Music at Christian Fellowship Center/Living Waters Congregational Church from 1978-2020. He co-founded SyntheSound Studio a music recording studio instructing and producing there from 1978-1990. Dwight played French horn early in his career as an extra with the Pittsburgh Symphony and later as a freelance musician and also played with the Westmoreland Symphony which is where he met his wife Jan.
He taught privately, after retiring from teaching, at the Music Room in Irwin from 2009-2016 and at the I Am Music Academy as co-owner with his wife from 2009-2023. He taught piano-jazz and french horn. Dwight loved his farm, motorcycles, and sports cars.

Alan Wayne Mathews, 64, of Elizabeth, PA was born January 17, 1959 in Duquesne, PA. He was the beloved son to the late Lloyd T. Mathews and Betty Morris.
Alan graduated from Elizabeth Forward High School, Class of 76, and went on to study at Penn State University, Carnegie Mellon University, and University of Hawaii, Hilo. He was the oldest of three siblings.
In his youth, Alan was an amateur figure skater alongside his sister Ellen. They competed along the East coast as members of the United States Figure Skating Association. After graduation, Alan turned professional and auditioned for the Ice Capades. He toured the United States and Canada for several years, and worked his way up to become lighting designer.
Alan spent many years living in Hilo, HI, where he pursued an active lifestyle that included scuba diving and spearfishing. He returned to Elizabeth and reconnected with his skating colleagues while working at several ice rinks in the area. Alan also assisted his mother and aunt in their activities with the Pittsburgh Council of Three Rivers Indian Center. Alan was a contract security guard at the West Mifflin location of Bombardier Transportation Holdings.

Daniel L. Piskor, age 79, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 (St. Patrick’s Day), at home, in the presence of and surrounded by the love of his family. William W. Roberts, 95, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at Transitions Healthcare, North Huntingdon. Prior to his retirement, Bill was a generator inspector for Westinghouse Electric his whole career, and a WWII veteran of the US Army. D. Anthony "Tony" Consales, 98, of White Oak, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 at home. He was born in McKeesport on February 24, 1925 and was the son of the late Ben and Mary (Capasso) Consales.
Tony was a World War II US Army Veteran who had served under General George Patton in the 4th Armored Division, US 3rd Army. He fought in 5 major battles: Normandy, Northern France, Central Europe Ardennes-Alsace, The Battle of the Bulge in Belgium and Rhineland, Germany. For his service he was awarded many medals and campaign ribbons, including The Distinguished Presidential Citation. Upon returning home he worked with his father doing construction for their company, the former Eagle Construction. He then went on to work as a foreman for Levinson Steel and also worked in home remodeling until he was 85 years old. Tony was also a scratch golfer in his early years and averaged 200 + a game bowler in numerous traveling men's leagues. He also enjoyed ballroom and square dancing. He was a very charismatic person who could have a great conversation with anyone and strived for perfection in all that he did. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild and will be greatly missed by all.

Walter "Bud" Leseman, 75, of Smithton, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023. He was born July 15, 1947 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Walter and Lorraine (Sinclair) Leseman. Prior to his retirement, Bud was a truck driver for Huttig. He was a member of St. Edward Church, vice president of Herminie #2 Game Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
