Harry Pearsol, age 77, of West Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at home. He was a retired truck driver for West Elizabeth Lumber and a member of the Elrama Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed hunting and conversing with family and friends. Born January 9, 1947, in Sunnyside, he was a son of the late William and Clara Belle (Richardson) Pearsol and husband of the late Sylvia “Peachie” (Williams) Pearsol. He is survived by daughters, Renae (Steve) Hallam of West Elizabeth and Crystal Pearsol of West Elizabeth; grandchildren, Sierra, Quenton and Emma; great-granddaughter, Saige; siblings, Connie Armstrong of West Elizabeth and Dutch Pearsol of Richeyville; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Pearsol.

Ralph James “Bud” Helman, Jr. 75 of Clairton, passed away on Friday, June 2nd 2023, at Jefferson Hospital. He was born in McKeesport on February 19th 1948 to the late Ralph J Helman Sr. and Irene Lomis Helman. Ralph was the loving husband of 53 years to Gloria J. Helman. He is survived by his wife Gloria Helman of Clairton, his son Christopher (Lorie) Helman of Dravosburg, daughter Christina Ray of Port St. Lucie of Florida, brothers Gary (Georgann) Helman of Baldwin, Dennis Helman of Clairton, sisters Diane (Rick) Lapinski of Rostraver, Debbie (Tom) Caley of Jefferson, Barb (Mark) Yantek of Collegeville, Cathy (Ed) Demchak of Clairton, grandchildren Abriana, Connor, Zachary, Kylee, Austin, and many nieces and nephews and his dog Loki. Ralph was a member of the Clairton Presbyterian Church and the Elizabeth Boat Club as well as the Greene Cove Yacht Club. He enjoyed spending days out on the boat and making memories with his grandchildren. He worked as a Lithographer for Hoechstetter Printing. Lena Rose Renckly, 96, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023. She was born in Revloc, PA, on March 6, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Venturino and Monica (Loretta) Candelore. She was the wife to the late Thomas Camille Renckly before his passing in 1981. Lena worked many jobs; from a Manager at Zayre's years ago, to waitressing and collecting the 'green fees' at Butlers Golf Course, to retiring from Jefferson Hospital as a waitress in the gift shop snack bar. She lived a quiet life. She cherished visits with her siblings over the years, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and eventually loved to be with her great-grandchildren too.

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Trepanowski, 96, of White Oak, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023. Born on November 12, 1926, she was the eldest of the nine children of the late John and Mary (Faron) Kovalyak. Betty was a member of Ascension Church in Clairton. She graduated from Clairton High School and worked at the A & P Supermarket in Clairton and in the South Allegheny School District cafeteria system. She married the love of her life, John F. Trepanowski, Jr. in 1956.  Unfortunately, he was taken from us too early, in 1965. Her favorite things to do were spending time with family, enjoying good food, visiting casinos, and playing bingo and Pokeno.

On Saturday May 27, 2023, Denise D. (North) Anderson, 70, of North Huntingdon passed away at the home of her son due to the devastating effects of ALS.

She was born on May 30, 1952 in Brownsville, PA. A daughter of the late Kenneth Gerald and Catherine Anderson, she had been a registered nurse at Westmoreland Hospital prior to retirement. She was predeceased by her mother Betty Lou Anderson in 1952; grandson, Chandler Aaron Heltebran in 1996, and her daughter-in-law Jessica Lynn North in 2016.

She is survived by her son, Aaron North of North Huntingdon; daughters Christy Heltebran (Sonny) of Irwin and Danielle North of Arona; adoptive daughter and friend Linda Shaw of Irwin. She was the beloved Gaga to Cameron, Megan and Natalie Heltebran  Emma and Lilah North  Deric and Samuel Amicone. Siblings Jerry, Gregory, Beth, Todd, Troy, Amy and Jason.

Patricia Kay Rogers, age 87, of West Mifflin, known lovingly to most as “Mimi,” “Mum,” “Pat,” or “Tish,” passed away peacefully, on May 31, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Sylvester “Bus” Forsyth and Susan (Kerston) Forsyth.

 Mimi was the glue to her family and a devoted friend and companion to all who knew her. She loved gambling, sweets, tulips, and her little, white dog, Sparky. In a room full of people, you could easily find her by listening for her laugh. She was known for her cherry squares and Texas sheet cake recipes, which she dutifully made whenever requested (which was often). She had the gift of making anyone she met feel special and important. She was the most loving, welcoming person you would ever meet and we are all blessed to have known her. We find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her husband, Bernie and her son Jamie, in heaven. 

 She is the loving mother of Cathy (Bruce) Schrieb, Jeff (Karen) Rogers, the late Jamie Rogers, and Michelle (Mark) Studnicki; cherished sister of Shirley Ann Kohl, John Forsyth, and Karen Yunn; devoted grandmother to Jessica, Jamie, Darren, Gabrielle, Maci, Olivia, Claudia and Zoee; and proud great-grandmother to Jordan, Dylan and Westen. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was special “Aunt Tish” to Johnny (Heather) Yunn, Kristy (Craig Cicon) Yunn, and Mikey (Megs) Yunn and aunt of Rhonda (Dave) Sprankle.
