Michael A. Riley, Jr., age 86, of Gibsonia, formerly Brookline, on July 14, 2019.  Born on February 17, 1933 in McKeesport, PA, son of the late Michael A. Riley, Sr. and Katherine Carr Riley.  Also preceded in death by his brothers, the late Thomas Riley, killed in WWII, the late Robert (late Rita) Riley, and one sister, the late Margaret Denney.

Beloved husband for 54 of Caroline Schwab Riley, whom he married on August 28, 1965.  Loving father of Michael Andrew "Andy" (Sandra) Riley III and Julie (Alexander) Tschammer-Osten.  Proud grandfather of Katherine, Julia, Ava, & Annika.

Born and raised in McKeesport, PA, Michael was a Korean War Army Veteran, attended Robert Morris College, and worked for 32 years for U.S. Treasury Department as an IRS Agent.  He was a member of Brentwood VFW, Brookline American Legion, Dormont AARP, and a longtime member of Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in Brookline and recently St. Richard Catholic Church in Gibsonia.  In his retirement years, Mr. & Mrs. Riley traveled extensively in the U.S., Canada, & Europe.  The Riley's moved to Gibsonia in 2015 to be near family.

HEALEY age 86 of West Mifflin, on July 14, 2019, at home.  A daughter of the late Gailen & Phoebe (Wilson) Boger, she was a retired Food Service Worker for West Mifflin School District.  She was a member of Terrace Church of the Nazarene in West Mifflin, where she was their former treasurer & organist, a volunteer at the Salvation Army in Braddock & Missionary President in 2009-2010.  She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Healey; Mother of Lynette (David) Wahl of West Mifflin, Erin (Diane) Healey of Munhall, Warren Healey of West Mifflin, Brenda Healey of Greensburg, and Andrea (Malcolm) Andress of West Mifflin; Grandmother of Steven (Jessica) Healey, Kristen (John) Parise, Kaylyn Andress, Keyshawn Andress & Gregory (Nancy) Wahl; 5 Great Grandchildren.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Visitation Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home, Inc., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. STAN A. HEBDA age 101, of Duquesne, on July 13, 2019 at home.  A son of the late Vincent & Blanche (Fularz) Hebda, he was a retired Steelworker and former member of the former St. Stephen’s R.C. Church in McKeesport where he was an usher, member of the choir and their dart team.  He loved to read, especially Westerns, singing, golf & dancing.  He volunteered at Kane-McKeesport & was a lifetime member of the P.N.A. in McKeesport. One of his claims to fame was that he had a hole in one on August 30, 1974 on the #13 hole of 148 yds. at Butler’s Golf Course.  He was also a lifetime member of the Carpenter’s Union & was in the Civilian Conservation Corps.  He was the beloved husband of 58 years to the late Margaret B. (Kochmar) Hebda.  He is the Father of Mary Ann Hebda & Ellie Hebda, both of Duquesne, and the late Marge (late Michael) Radecki; Grandfather of John (Mary) Radecki, Keri Radecki & the late Kris Radecki; Great Grandfather of Parker Radecki, Madison Radecki & Rylie Smith; Brother of the late Blanche (late Chester) Rymarz, late Mary (late Harold) Kite, late Ted (late Ethel) Hebda, late Walt (surviving spouse Lois) Hebda, late John (late Eleanor) Hebda, late Tom (surviving spouse Fran) Hebda; also many loving Nieces & Nephews.  Visitation Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. & Friday, July 19, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home, Inc., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, Duquesne, on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin.

Mary Virginia O'Bryon, 97, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019.  She was born March 22, 1922 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Richard and Alma (Furlong) Oliver.  Mary attended Norwin Alliance Church and was an avid Bingo player.  She loved life and always treasured spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond O'Bryon; brother, Jess Alan Hoak; sister, Hazel Baker; and two grandchildren, Tracy and Scott O'Bryon.  She is survived by her sons, Robert O'Bryon and his wife, Merlyn and Donald O'Bryon and his wife, Janis;  grandchildren, Debbie (Bill) Jennette, DJ O'Bryon, Rachel (Andy) Long; and great-grandchildren, Kendra (Matt) Nicholas, Cody Jennette, Raimey, Hayden, Kendall and Cody O'Bryon, Maddox Long; and sister-in-law, Darlene Foster.  Friends will be received on Monday from 3-7 p.m. at the James W. Robert N. Petrosko, 85, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday July 12, 2019.  He was born May 22, 1934 in McKeesport, a son of the late Peter and Mary (Crush) Petrosko.  Prior to his retirement, Robert was a tool and die maker for General Motors and a veteran of the US Army.  He was a member of the 11th Ward Club, enjoyed playing the lottery and spending time with his family.  Bob was the life of the party, enjoyed social clubs and had ingenious ways of fixing things. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Olga Lazar.  He is survived by his wife, Peggy Dodds Petrosko; son, Robert Petrosko and his wife, Patricia; daughter, Paula Fiscante and her husband, John; brothers, Peter (Joan) Petrosko, Joseph (Paula) Petrosko; sister, Patricia (Clyde) Simmers; grandchildren, Justin Zebroski, Celene (Charles) Barno, Rose Fiscante; and great-grandson, Travis Barno.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at the James W. Brett S. Fort, 59, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, departed this life on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at home.

He was born August 19, 1959, in McKeesport, son of the late Jimmy Lee and Betty Lou Carter Fort.

Brett was a former member of Mt. Olive First Baptist Church, proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, and attended C.C.A.C, where he earned his associate degree.  Brett was an Electrician with the I.B.E.W. Local 5 and owner of Fortitude Handyman Services and while living in New Jersey, he was employed with RCA. 

Left to cherish his memory are his are daughter, Phoenix N. Moore of Pittsburgh; son, Stephen L. Fort (Janaya) of Clairton; stepdaughter, Meagan K. Edwards of Lorton, Virginia; nine grandsons, sister, Tierra Jones of Clairton, and other loving relatives and friends.

Stanley F. Makoski Sr., age 68, of McKeesport, formerly of Mt. Washington, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital. He retired as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service on the North Side. As a child, he was on the safety patrol in elementary school, sang in the youth choir, and served as an altar boy. In his 20s, he took the Civil Service test and passed with a score of 93. Stanley delivered mail to Art Rooney, who often gifted him with a cigar or two. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pirates and faithfully followed both teams on television. On March 22, he celebrated 15 years of sobriety and being smoke-free. He prided himself on living his life "one day at a time."
