Lowell E. Gregg, of Glassport died November 3, 2019. He is the son of the late Floyd and Doris (Sharpneck) Gregg. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol; daughters Doris (Anthony) Haywood of Mckeesport and Tammy (Daniel) List of White Oak; sons Brian (Jennifer) Gregg of Glassport and David (Heather) Gregg of Glassport; grandchildren Anthony Jr., Brian Jr., Sara, Olivia, and David Jr.; and great-grandchild Sophia. He was preceded in death by his son Wayne. Lowell worked for U.S. Steel and drove for Access for many years. He was past a member of the Elizabeth Boro Fire Dept. and also a lifetime member of the Glassport Citizen's Hose Co. #1. Friends received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport. A service will be held at 7pm by the Glassport Fire Department.

Kenneth L. Root, 71, of North Huntingdon, died Friday, November 1, 2019, at home. He was born April 1, 1948 in Pitcairn, a son of the late LaVerne T. Root and also preceded in death by his brother Ruel D. Root. Prior to retirement he was a salesperson for Labuda Farm Services, Hermine. Ken was a motorcycle enthusiast, collector of model trains, and enjoyed listening to country music.

Suzanna (Adam) Miller, 86, of Irwin, died Friday November 1, 2019, at Golden Heights, Irwin. She was born June 18, 1933 in East Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Durocik) Adam. She was a retired secretary for Westinghouse and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Irwin, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the WELCA. She was a wonderful baker and cook. She enjoyed wintering in Florida with her husband for many years and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and neighbor. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings Rev. John Adam, Anna Adam, and Mary Ann Hredzak. She is survived by her husband of sixty four years Lloyd Paul Miller; her children Daniel P. (Joell) Miller, Paula (Tony) DeLuise, and Diane Ozegovich all of North Huntingdon; her grandchildren Danine Miller (Ryan Temoshenka), Faith (Eric) Attanucci, Anna (Corey) Read, Amanda DeLuise, Rachel Ozegovich, Adam Ozegovich, Daniel Brotz, and Abigale Brotz; a brother Michael Adam; sister in law Dorothy Adam; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Michelle G. Roka, age 63 of Versailles, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Born February 7, 1956 in Oceanside, CA, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna (Dorko) Borges. Michelle earned her associate’s degree in accounting, worked at the Pennsylvania Unemployment Office in McKeesport, and was a member of both Corpus Christi Parish and the Versailles VFD Ladies’ Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Charles “Buzz” Roka; her children Charles “Chaz” (Emma) Roka of North Huntingdon, Michael (Courtney) Roka, stationed with the US Navy out of Jacksonville, FL, and Sarah (fiance' Patrick Kiss) Roka of Versailles; her grandsons Gabriel and Charles, III; her sister Karen (Steve) Hall of Louisville, KY; and also nieces and nephews.

Charlie K. Dale, age 59, of Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at home. He was a U.S. Army veteran and loved music, fishing and building cast metal cars. Born February 10, 1960 in McKeesport, he was a son of Barbara (Taylor) Dale Jenkins and the late Kenneth James Dale. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Diana A. Sandra L. "Patty" (Crum) Daerr, age 73, of Finleyville, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at home. She was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Church in Elrama and a former cafeteria worker at Thomas Jefferson High School. Born August 15, 1946 in West Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Bert and Olive Crum. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Raymond E. Daerr; daughters, Cindy (David) Smith of Arlington, TX and Malinda (Chris) Werner of West Elizabeth; son, Eric (Tina) Daerr of Russell; also, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Joseph F. Nesteruk, age 94, of Liberty Borough, died October 31, 2019, at UPMC Mercy. Born November 24, 1924, in Library, PA, he was the son of the late Mark and Mary (Urbanski) Nesteruk and the husband of the late Helen L. Nesteruk for over 61 years.
Joseph retired from Luti Sign Co., where he was a painter and commercial artist. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during WWII. Joseph was a member of St. Mark Parish of Liberty Borough.
He enjoyed old movies, Pittsburgh Steelers, and he always had a sweet tooth. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Sally A. Burk, 86, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019. She was born December 15, 1932 in North Huntingdon, daughter of the late J. Audley and Ellabell (Buzzard) Miller. Sally was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Jeannette, and enjoyed crafting, baking and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Burk and daughter, Nancy Burk. She is survived by her son, Robert Burk and his wife, Laura; daughter, Janet Norton and her husband, David; three grandchildren, Megan (JW) Lattimer, Katie (Cody) Frick; Jennifer Norton; and one great-granddaughter, Abigail Lattimer. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. Elizabeth "Betty" (Vitelli) Rothbauer, age 94 of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Arden Courts. Born March 26, 1925 in Blythedale, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Zelinda (Martinelli) Vitelli. She worked as an accountant for US Steel, Clairton Works for 67 years, and was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish and its choir, a former member of Wilson Italian Club, and a member of the American Legion Daniel Keffer Post #75 Ladies Auxiliary, all of Clairton. Betty joins her husband, the late Anthony J. Rothbauer, Sr., who passed away November 7, 2010; her son Anthony J. Rothbauer, Jr., who passed away June 4, 2014; siblings Clyde, John, and Joseph Vitelli, Rose Morock, Ida and Mary Meredith, Violet Salesi, Zelinda "Lena" Arilotta, and Florence, Frank, and Anthony Vitelli. She survived by her nieces and nephews.

John Scharritter, 76, of White Oak, passed away peacefully at home, on October 27, 2019. He was born on October 29, 1942 in Braddock and was the son of the late William and Emily Scharritter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen. John was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and prior to his retirement, was a systems administrator for Rexam, Inc. John enjoyed going to the Steeler games for many years, bowling with the American Legion League, golfing, fishing and especially attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sherry, daughter Kelly, sons Erik and his wife Terra; Chris and his wife Loree; his grandchildren, Coree, Colin, Navy, Jacob, Sky and Chance; his brother William, nieces and nephews.
