George Michael Simko, age 77, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at home. A Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam War, he was retired from CPI Industries in McKeesport. He was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in McKeesport and was a member of Blaine Hill Volunteer Fire Company and a lifetime member of the NRA.

George Biros, age 90, of White Oak, died August 5, 2018, at UPMC Shadyside. Born June 9, 1928, in McKeesport, he was number 12 of fifteen children, he was the son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Kohlar) Biros and the husband of the late Ruth A. (McKenna) Biros.

Geraldine "Gerry" A. Michalski, 85, of Glassport, died Aug. 5, 2018. She is the daughter of the late Leo and Cecelia (Przywarta) Michalski. Gerry is survived by her daughter Renee (Timothy) Zecchini; grandchildren Anthony (Samantha) Zecchini and Kristin (David) Hockenbroch; great grandchildren Luca and Ayden; sister Hyacinth "Tootsie" Michalski; also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Ferdinand "Boots" Michalski, Joseph Michalski and Edwin "Miz" Michalski and sister Rita Michalski. Gerry was a retired beautician, a member of the Queen of the Rosary Parish; Rosary Society and Christian Mothers. Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Tues. 2-8. A funeral mass will be held Wed. 10:00 am at Queen of the Rosary Parish with Rev. Miroslaus Wojcicki. Interment following St. Mary's Polish Cemetery.

Elmer "Bucky" Saunders, 81 of Walkerton, IN, formerly of West Mifflin died Aug. 1, 2018. He is the son of the late Elmer and Catherine (Hotz) Saunders. Bucky is survived by his beloved wife Gwendolyn (Bolger) Saunders; daughter Robyn (Alan) Saunders; sister Elsie M. (Glenn) Creese; also nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Homer (Georgia) Saunders, John Saunders and Harry (Betty) Saunders and sisters Catharine (Charles) Anderson, Leona (Harry) Anderson, Betty Saunders and Elva "Mickey (Cy) Magill. Elmer was retired from Bethlehem Steel and was a very proud Dairy Farm owner. He was born in Jeannette and was the son of George R. and Patricia Ann Bodnar Nuttall of McKeesport. Michael worked as a carpet cleaner and maintenance for Mark of Excellence. He was a die-hard Steelers fan, who had a Steelers museum. He enjoyed working on and fixing cars in his spare time. He would do anything for anyone and never expected anything in return. Michael prided himself in being a provider and his family always came first.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Beth Ann (Forsythe) Nuttall, two sons, Mike J. (Fiancée, Kayla) Nuttall, and Shane M. Nuttall, both of Sutersville, granddaughter, Annabella Nuttall, brother George Nuttall of McKeesport, sisters, Janet Nuttall of Monroeville and Helen Nuttall of North Versailles, father-in-law, Glen Forsythe of McKeesport, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his dogs, Jojo and Jade and the late Bruno.
