Born May 4, 1927, in Port Vue, PA, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Victoria Dominick Waskowitz. Jane was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and adoring husband of 70 years, Joseph R. Parknavy who recently passed away May 23, 2019, and brother John V. Waskowitz of Port Vue, PA.

James M. Seman, age 74 of Elizabeth and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019 in Jefferson Hospital. Born April 20, 1945 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Steve and Margaret (Havrilla) Seman. A self employed painter, James was a member of Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church. In his spare time, he loved to play cards with friends and make trips to the casino. He is survived by his long-time companion of 30 years Rose March; his children Beth Greathouse of Mims, FL, Karen Seman of Clairton, and Edward Kelly of Monroeville; his five grandchildren; his two great-grandchildren; his siblings Marge Sedor of Clairton, Steve Seman of Manassas, VA, and Daniel Seman of Baldwin; and also nieces and nephews.

Myles A. Bauman, 78, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019. He was born February 8, 1941 in Gillette, Wyoming, son of the late Paul and Verna (Penkava) Bauman. Prior to his retirement, Myles was a mechanical engineer for Westinghouse Bettis. He enjoyed gardening and traveled all 50 states and internationally. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-grandson, Justin Roycroft; and brothers Richard and Francis Bauman. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 25 years, Rose Marie Roycroft Bauman; stepson, Robert Roycroft and his wife, Gretchen; stepdaughter, Michele Garufi; step-grandchildren, Anthony and Shawn Garufi and Jason Roycroft. Robert Tracy Ziemke, age 93 of Versailles, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Born October 7, 1925 in Versailles, he was a son of the late Frank and Emma (Tracy) Ziemke. A 1943 graduate of McKeesport High School, Robert was a World War II Veteran of the US Army, serving in D Company, 254th Infantry Regiment, 63rd Infantry Division "Blood and Fire." Robert married the late Mary Lou (Feightner) Ziemke on January 15, 1947, and they stayed happily married for 57 years until her passing on February 15, 2004. He worked for US Steel's National Tube Works from 1947 to 1960 and Equitable Gas from 1960 to 1991, joining their Equitable Gas Retirees' Club.

David Hubert Scott, age 67, of North Versailles, died Monday, June 3, 2019. He was born in McKeesport on July 8, 1951 and is the son of the late Hubert W. and Dorothy Emma Prezel Scott. He served in the Marines during the Vietnam war. He was a chef at Robert Morris University and at Parkhurst Dining in Pittsburgh.
He is survived by his wife, Holly McFarland Scott of McKeesport; sisters, Dorothy “Dolly” (Rich) Loughner of Greensburg, Pat (Bill) Rugh of N. Versailles, Evelyn (George) Velardo of Versailles, Janet Kostic of Madison; also beloved nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, (412 678 6177) on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 3:00 until 8:00 pm. Services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Noon in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Kirk Albrecht officiating. Burial will follow. Born May 2, 1945, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Bernum and Jean (Jenkins) Allen and the wife of the late Kenneth Blake Brown. Joan was a woman of faith and family. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting and working crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Kathleen (Rhodes) Rost, age 94 of Elizabeth Twp., passed away at home on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Born June 25, 1924 in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late George and Carolyn (Flaherty) Rhodes. A graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Kathleen also worked as a secretary for Rost Electric, her family's business. She was a devout member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp. and kept her faith strong. In her spare time, Kathleen loved to play bridge and golf with her Y.C.C. Women's Golf League. She enjoyed travelling with her friends from N.E.C.A. and loved her family vacations to Stone Harbor, NJ and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL. Most importantly, she was a loving and devoted wife to William F. Rost, who passed away August 14, 1992.
