Walter P. Plesniak, Jr., 54 of McKeesport, died April 3, 2018. He is the son of the late Walter P. and Mary M. (Adams) Plesniak, Sr. He is survied by sisters Diana Farally and Maria Plesniak; brothers Edward Plesniak and Steve Nehila; children Rachel, Kara and Crystal Plesniak; son Bobby Derkis; beloved friend Alana Tewell; nephew Johnny Farally and nieces. Walter was a union roofer and was a member of the Glassport American Legion for 15 years. Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Thurs. from 2-4. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions be made directly to the Wojciechowski Funeral Home.

Norma Jean Supansic, 82, of Christy Park, died Saturday, March 31, 2018. She was born March 8, 1936 in Christy Park and was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Sarah (Stefani) Supansic. Norma worked for the former G.C. Murphy Co. warehouse in Christy Park and was a loyal member of the Teamsters for 38 years. She is survived by brothers, Donald (Elaine) Supansic of West Mifflin and Robert Supansic of Christy Park, sisters, Vivian (Joseph) Martino of White Oak, and Karen Supansic of Christy Park, nieces and nephews.

Josephine A. Traud, 83 of West Mifflin, died March 31, 2018. She is the wife of the late Bernard J. Traud. She is survived by her children Kenneth Traud, Bernard Traud, Theresa Metosky, Kim Wilson, William Traud and Randy Traud; grandchildren Nick, Chris, Josh, Crystal, Laura, Susie, Tiffany, Daniel and Michael and 12 great grandchildren. Harold N. "Buzz" Phillips, Jr., 64 of Glassport, died March 30, 2018. He is the son of the late Harold and Donaldeen (Beitler) Phillips, Sr. He is survived by his beloved wife Louise Phillips; sons Brian Phillips and Jim (Lisa) Phillips; grandchildren Jim Phillips, Jr, Alex, Ben and Elizabeth and sister Sheryl Perozich; also nieces and nephews. Buzz worked at National Tubes for 13 years and then Kane Regional Center. Buzz was a member of Port Vue Athletic Association and church council at Queen of the Rosary. He was also very active in Glassport and South Allegheny's football, basketball and baseball programs where he coached for many years. Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Mon. 2-8. A funeral mass will be held Tues 1:00 pm at St. Mark's Liberty Boro with Father Daniel Straughn. Interment following New St. Joseph Cemetery.

Known as Rizzo, he loved to play softball, watch Steelers games, drink just one glass of Stroh’s (at each place he went), and listen to classic oldies, particularly Creedence Clearwater Revival. Visitation will be held Mon. from 4-8 at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home. A funeral blessing will be held Tues. 10:00 am at the funeral home with Father Miroslaus Wojcicki. Interment following Jefferson Memorial Park.
