George J. Adamson, 78, formerly of North Huntingdon, died Monday February 27, 2017 while visiting in Georgia. He was born December 24, 1938 in Jeannette, the son of the late George J. Sr. and Gladys Stitley Adamson and was also preceded in death by his wife of nearly fifty years Dolores A. “Dolly” (Welsh) Adamson on July 19, 2016. George graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received his master’s degree from Edinboro University. He was a retired school teacher for the Norwin School District where he was yearbook advisor and an English teacher for over 30 years.

Edward Thomas Kreiner, age 87, of the Baltimore, MD area passed away on February 26, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Frank Anthony Kreiner Sr. and Helen A. (Conniff) Kreiner. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Lieutenant after 22 years of service. He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of several organizations which included the VFW, DAV, American Legion, Fleet Reserve Association and the Military Officers Association of America. Mr. Kreiner was also a 32nd Degree Mason.
