Stoyanka Popovich Vranesevich, age 90, of McKeesport, died Sunday, May 21, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Very Rev. Dr. Milan G. and Zoritza Popovich. She was born in Crepaya, Yugoslavia on October 16, 1926 and was preceded in death by her husband Milan and brothers Dushan and Stoyan Popovich. Stoyanka earned her B.A. degree from Carnegie Mellon University (formerly Carnegie Technical Institute). She was a loving mother to her children Xenia and Milan of McKeesport, Zora Russell of Serento Florida, grandson George Russell and great grandson Dalton; brothers, retired Superior Court Judge Zoran Popovich of Myrtle Beach, SC; Ray (Shirley) Popovich of Greentree, PA, along with nieces and nephews. Stoyanka was an active member of the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church of McKeesport-Duquesne and choir member for more than twenty years. She was one of the founding members of the St. Sava Mothers’ Club and danced with the Balkan Dancers. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 23nd from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177) with Mali Pomen Services at 7:30 pm. Burial services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 noon at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church with Very Rev. Stavrofor Stevan G. Rocknage officiating. Entombment will follow at McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery Mausoleum. Lynne Ann Barnes, age 52, of White Oak, died May 18, 2017, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born July 25, 1964, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Stephen and Mary (Miller) Oleska of White Oak and the wife of James R. Barnes also of White Oak. Lynne dedicated her life to caring for her family, particularly her son Jeff. She most recently worked as a bus monitor at Pennsylvania Coachlines and before that she worked as a care taker at the White Oak Village Apartments. Lynne was always more than willing to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed the outdoors and knew how to catch fish better than anyone.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lynne is survived by a son, Jeffrey Barnes of White Oak; sisters, Sherry (Oleska) Roskov of White Oak, Darla Oleska of McKeesport and Jodie Oleska of White Oak; brother-in-law, Franklin Barnes of Cannonsburg; nieces and nephews, Christi Roskov, Shawn Landstrom, Melanie and Taylor Ingersoll and Karrie Oleska; also many cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother Michael Oleska.
Family and friends will be received at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, from 4 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jody Dausey will officiate.

Nancy R. (Swanson) Daley age 78, of Duquesne, on May 18, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Mildred (Boyer) Swanson. Nancy was a retired Elementary Education Teacher for the Duquesne School District. She was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, where she was a past president of the Church Council, a Eucharistic minister, GFWC Women's Club, of Duquesne, of which she was past president, ACFWC Circle of Presidents, and board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Duquesne-West Mifflin, and also a member of the Duquesne Education Association. She's the beloved wife of 53 years to Francis R. "Fran" Daley; mother of Attorney Robert (Danielle) Daley, of Munhall, Kristen (Dr. Jay Goldberg) Daley, of Petaluma, CA; grandmother of Max Daley, twins, Jack and Michael Daley, Sadie Goldberg, and Scarlet Goldberg; sister of Claire (Roger) Holcombe, of Red Hill, PA. Karen Lee Balog, age 68, of White Oak died May 18, 2017 at home. Born September 9, 1948 in Homestead, she was the daughter of the late Martin K. Gillette and the living Dorothy M. (James) Gillette and the wife of James Balog for 30 loving years. Karen loved to go out and dance with her husband and friends. She collected cookbooks and made many dishes from them. In addition to her mother and husband, Karen is survived by her step children, Sarah Balog and David (Danielle) Balog; step granddaughter Kayla DiMeo; step grandchildren Krystel and Danny Balog; sister, Debbie Navilliat; niece, Chantillie Navilliat; nephew, Steven Navilliat, great nephew Brandon Navilliat. Rebecca L. “Becky” Musgrave, 75, of New York, NY, formerly of Irwin, died Friday May 12, 2017. She was born January 8, 1942 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Samuel A. and Alice McAfee Musgrave. Becky grew up in Irwin and moved to New York in the mid 1960’s. She worked for the United Nations in the environmental statistical department retiring in the late 1990’s. She was an accomplished artist studying portrait drawing most recently, and was part of an art gallery in her New York community. She is survived by her son Joshua Musgrave and his spouse Philippe Costet of Florham Park, NJ, and a sister Susan F. Dunbar and her spouse Rick of Bisbee AZ. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in First Presbyterian Church, 617 Main Street, Irwin, with Rev. Ronald Durika, officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Joseph Michael Corazzelli, 86, of White Oak, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at home. He was born October 4, 1930 in New London, CT, and was the son of the late Joseph and Cecelia Corazzelli. Joseph was a member of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church in White Oak and was also a member of the White Oak American Legion Post 701 and the Knights of Columbus (4th Degree). He was a retired Machinist and General Foreman for General Dynamics and was also a former Instructor for Machinists at CCAC South Campus. He is survived by his wife, Marlene A. Runge Corazzelli, children, Katherine (Edward) Kokoszka, James E. (Annette) Silverman and Beth Ann (James) Leonaitis of CT, and Donna (William) Hopkins of NC, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
