Barbara A. (Underwood) Strachan, 83, of Irwin, died peacefully Sunday October 16, 2016, at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born December 23, 1932 in Monongahela, a daughter of the late Howard Clark and Sarah Elizabeth (Gillie) Underwood. She was an Elder in the First Presbyterian Church, Irwin, and was a member of the choir. She was an avid bowler, a former den mother and homeroom mother, and having been a Registered Nurse prior to raising her family she was known as the “neighborhood nurse” to the children of the neighborhood.

Kevin Eric Henry, age 55, of White Oak, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 15, 2016. He was born in McKeesport on December 29, 1960, the son of the late Richard J. and Dorothy Mae (Baker) Henry.
Kevin worked as a bus driver for Port Authority for 27 years and was soon to be retired. He was a member of the White Oak Lions Club, past president of Little Tigers Boosters and McKeesport Girls Softball League. He was a devoted father and grandfather and proud to be a great, great uncle. He is survived by his loving wife Mary C. (Huff) Henry and their three children Kevin Eric, Jr., Kaylyn Elizabeth, and Kaycie Elaine; grandson, Caleb Lee Henry; brothers, William John of McKeesport, Richard J. of Clearwater, FL, Michael O.(Darlene) of Elizabeth, and Keith A. Henry of McKeesport; sisters, Audrey L. (Kenneth) Hamlin of McKeesport and Sharryl E.(Richard) Kokoska of Port Vue. Also many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Darryl G. Henry and his sister Linda Christian.
Friends will be received Wednesday, October 19th from 2-8 pm at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412-678-6177). Born January 14, 1941, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John and Jessie (Moon) Coulter. Don was a self-employed painter for most of his working years. He lived at McKeesport Towers and had many friends there. He enjoyed old movies, sports, bingo and ice cream. Many cousins survive Don, including Katherine Daugherty and Dennis Moon.

Dorothy Rupert Stevick, 97, died October 3, 2016 at Spring Arbor of Williamsburg. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 18, 1919, she was the daughter of Roy Milton and Charlotte McCuaig Rupert, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Curtis Stevick; son, Robert S. Stevick II; brother, Roy M. Rupert, Jr.; and sister, Betty Turner. Mrs Stevick was a secretary for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Stevick and her son in law, Dr. Kenneth L. Webb, both of Richmond, VA and her sister, Barbara R. Fabian.
