Marie (DePaolo) "Sissy" Bradich, 80, of West Mifflin, died peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2017 in Sycamore Estates, Duquesne. Born May 15, 1937, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Nicolene (Vendetti) DePaolo. Beloved wife of the late Jacob T. Bradich, she is survived by a son, Jacob T. Bradich II of West Mifflin, a brother, Anthony DePaolo of Grafton, Ohio, and a sister, Josephine Tortorella of Dormont. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria Bradich and a sister, Norma Kester.

Sophie (Nikolich) Kovacs, 87, of Mt Lebanon, formerly of Duquesne, Passed away Peacefully in Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Mt Lebanon, August 28, 2017. Born in McKeesport, March 30, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Alec and Anna Grantz Nikolich. Mrs. Kovacs was a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, McKeesport. the Holy Trinity Kolo of Duquesne, and the Order of the Eastern Star, Duquesne Chapter. She was also a retired employee of Penn - Taft Pharmacy, West Mifflin. She was the beloved wife of the late Zoltan E. Kovacs. She is survived by two loving daughters, Alexis (Bill) Nestor and Monica (Tom Morgan) Kovacs; four grandchildren, Dan (Tracy) Ford, William Ford, Julian Horta Kovacs and Christian Horta Kovacs; three great grandchildren, Rowan, Ripley and Ryan Ford; and nieces and nephews.

Beloved husband of 62 years of Margaret "Midge" Mihailoff Stanoszek. John A. (Zedo) Suchta, 93, of West Mifflin died peacefully Sunday. June 4, 2017, in UPMC Shadyside. Born in Duquesne, May 30, 1924, he was the son of the Late George and Elizabeth (Torchak) Suchta. Mr. Suchta was a member and usher of Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin, The Parish Men's Club, a Retired Craneman of the former U.S. Steel Corporation, Duquesne Works, former Grievance Officer of the Steelworker's Union and a proud Veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corp. Mr. Suchta was an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan, loving his Pirates, Steelers, Pens and Panthers.
Beloved husband of the Late Dorothy (Perhac) Suchta. He is survived by his loving children, Raymond (Joan) Suchta of Peters Twp., Lawrence Suchta of West Mifflin, Kathleen (Patrick) Sullivan of West Norriton, PA, and Christine Matelan (James Ciamacco) of Pittsburgh, and two sisters, Helen Gambal and Pauline Perhac; special "Zedo" to six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mr. Yellich was a member of The First Free Evangelical Church of McKeesport and a Retired Hooker at the former U.S. Steel Corporation, Duquesne Works. He proudly served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corp. Beloved Husband of the Late Josephine (Kulik) Yellich, he is survived by two loving Daughters, Beverly Govannucci of Somerset and Yvonne Dale of West Mifflin, A Brother Charles Yellich of West Mifflin, Four Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren, and Three Great Great Grandchildren. He was born in Duquesne on February 25, 1926 to the late Michael and Helen (Koval) Cvejkus and was predeceased by his loving wife Bess (Pakan), beloved daughter Arlene Pastrick and two sisters, Mary Perun and Anna Mae Ondechek. Michael was an English teacher in the Duquesne school system for 35 years, President of the Duquesne Teacher’s Association and a proud member of the PSEA & NEA.

(Yuhos) Samudovsky, 87, of Duquesne, died Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Family Hospice, from breast cancer that could not undergo continued treatment in the aftermath of a hospital spleen injury. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Francis R. Samudovsky. Born Feb. 19, 1930 in Duquesne, she was the beloved daughter of the late Mary (Latzy) and John Yuhos of West Mifflin's Homeville section; and a sister of the late Wilma (Yuhos) Clarick. Martha worked as head cashier at Househould Finance and retired as a medical secretary at Montefiore Hospital.
